1 The Summoning Failed

A/N: First, before we start just to tell you guys, Gilgamesh will have all of his treasures in the GoB (Gate of Babylon) that includes all the noble phantasms, weapons, but not vehicles.

Also, I never caught up with the LN. I read some of it but not much so my knowledge will lack and if anything I'll look up the things I don't know about.

...

"We need someone to send someone to watch over Dicathen." Asura 2 said.

"We already have someone doing that." Asura 3 said.

"I'm talking about a person who we'll be able to control and do anything with." Asura 2 said.

"I agree. It'll be more effective." Asura 4 said.

"It's too dangerous. What if they betray us?" Asura 1 said.

"That's why we'll summon someone from a lower realm, eliminating every possibility of them betraying us." Asura 2 said.

Around the black stone tablet, the other asuras present nodded in agreement at the suggestion of their partner.

One asura wasn't in agreement because of an uneasy feeling he has.

'I would decline this, but everyone agrees and if I were to decline the suggestions, it'll cause an uproar,' Asura 1 thought.

"Since everyone agrees, we'll start in an hour." Asura 1 said.

"Dismissed."

As everyone rose from their seat to exit the room, one Asura stayed behind as his legs were shaking impatiently in his chair.

'Something doesn't feel right about this.'

'Every inch of my body is telling me to cancel this, but even if I do, I know they'll do it behind my back.'

A/N: Just a reminder I have read little of the tbate LN so idk if this is something they would do and I doubt they would but just for the story we'll let it slide I'm sorry.

1 HOUR LATER

In the middle of a vast room, countless asuras settled in to watch the summoning of their new overseer of Dicathen.

"Sir, we'll now start the summoning."

The leaders of each clan nodded their heads as a signal to begin the summoning.

When the summoner began speaking, a bright golden light emitted from the floor.

...

In the distance, the patriarch of the Indrath clan, whom humans would call a dragon, stared off into the distance without paying attention to the summoning.

'This uneasy feeling still lurks in me and it's worse than before.'

'No matter what happens, even if it results in a severe consequence, I'll stop this summoning.'

He stared at the summoner and, listening to the summoning, he noticed he was nearly finished with the summoning.

" ꒐ ꉔꋬꀘꀘ ꒤ꉣꄲꋊ ꓄ꁝꏂ ꀘꄲꅐꏂꋪ ꋪꏂꋬꀘꂵꇙ ꄲꊰ ꏂꋬꋪ꓄ꁝ ꓄ꄲ ꇙ꒤ꂵꂵꄲꋊ ꒐꓄ꇙ ꀘ꒐ꋊ ꓄ꄲ ꃳꏂ ꇙ꒤ꂵꂵꄲꋊꏂ꒯ ꒤ꉣ ꓄ꄲ ꓄ꁝꏂ ꒤ꉣꉣꏂꋪ ꋪꏂꋬꀘꂵꇙ ꋬꇙ ꋬ ꄲ꒦ꏂꋪꇙ-"

Just before the summoning finished, the Indrath's patriarch stopped the summoner, causing the bright golden light to diminish.

"Kezess, what is the meaning of this?" shouted a patriarch who rose from his seat with veins forming on his forehead.

The other patriarch also questioned the motives of Kezess.

"We can't continue with this summoning. I sense immense danger coming from that world."

The onlookers showed visible worry on their faces after hearing the remarks of Kezess.

"That can't be possible. After all, that place is a part of the lower realm. There shouldn't be a single being there that could pose a threat to us." remarked the patriarch who shouted earlier.

"Still, I'd rather not ris-" Kezess and everyone else present went completely silent after noticing the golden light that re-emitted from the ground after disappearing earlier.

"I told you to stop the summoning," Kezess shouted in anger towards the summoner.

"I-It's not me, someone from the lower realms trying to open the portal by force." Said the summoner who was currently on one knee because of Kezess' bloodlust.

Kezess raised both of his arms as he tried closing the portal, but all his effort was in vain as the portal overpowered him.

'They overpowered me in terms of strength. Whatever came from that place is extremely powerful,' Kezess thought with a tone of worry in his head.

"T-They overpowered K-Kezess and entered this place by force."

"W-We need to find that monster and kill him before he gets to us."

"Send some men to search for him now!"

The current state of Epheotus was in a panic as people shouted, ran, even babies cried because of the current event, and opposing clan members even fought each other.

...

30 MINUTES EARLIER

From the streets of Uruk, the civilians noticed a blinding golden light coming from the palace where the current king dwells.

"What do you think is going on in there?"

"I don't know. He's probably doing something for amusement."

...

Inside the palace, the king named Gilgamesh was chuckling mockingly because of the light.

"Haha, is this the God's worthless attempt in trying to summon me to them?"

"I'll use this attempt of theirs to amuse myself."

Gilgamesh was preparing ready to send fake in his place to anger the Gods, but the portal was closing.

"Trying to close. You'll only close if I want you to close." Gilgamesh said with a smirk as he opened it with force, but he was confused by how weak the God who was closing the portal was.

"A mongrel like you doesn't deserve to be a God," Gilgamesh said as he disappeared from his throne.
