Chapter 5

Gilgamesh was on his way to the surface while talking trivial things with the members of the Loki family.

Gilgamesh was in a somewhat separate group from the Loki family with Aiz, Tione, Tiona and Lefiya.

Aiz: How did you become so strong being level one?

She said curiously shaking her head to the side with a cute expression. 

Gilgamesh just gave her a smile and replied

Gilgamesh: I was born with a body superior to others that's all Aiz tell me why did you become adventurous?

Aiz's look became a little somber.

Aiz: I want to kill the black dragon with one eye.

Gilgamesh nodded and gave Aiz a smile.

Gilgamesh: then when the time comes I'll help you kill it.

Aiz just gave an imperceptible smile and nodded

Tione: and why did you become an adventurer Gilgamesh-san?

She said asking with her typical childish attitude

Tiona: yes Gilgamesh-san tell us

She said with the same attitude of her sister

Lefiya was just silent jealous of Aiz's attention to Gilgamesh.

Gilgamesh: because it's funny to me

She said looking at Gilgamesh in annoyance

Gilgamesh: I think you misunderstood me Lefiya-san you see my life before I became an adventurer was empty I always did the same routine over and over again I had no family or friends and there were never any new things I just had a powerful body.

Gilgamesh was lying a little bit but for the most part it was all true.

Gilgamesh's expression at first was annoyed but then it turned into a small smile.

Gilgamesh: I finally joined a family and started fighting monsters, it was exciting, the feeling of fighting someone was the most exciting thing I had ever felt.

After the explanation Lefiya lowered her head a little and apologized.

Lefiya: I'm sorry Gilgamesh-san.

Gilgamesh just ruffled her hair with one hand while letting out a laugh when Lefiya showed an annoyed look.

Gilgamesh: don't worry, it doesn't matter anymore.

Lefiya broke away from Gilgamesh's hand and looked at him in annoyance.

Lefiya: Don't be so confident just because I apologized.

She said turning her head like a tsundere in annoyance.

Gilgamesh ever since he saw Lefiya in the anime he always had a dream to tease her and see that expression and his dream finally came true.

Gilgamesh ended up letting out another laugh when Lefiya hid behind Aiz.

And so the conversation continued for 2 hours where they got quite close and had a good friendship with our protagonist.

When they were on the 15th floor they had to kill a group of Minotaurs but due to an oversight of the Loki family some Minotaurs escaped to the upper floors and they had to follow them. 

Gilgamesh ended up going with Aiz and these two quickly went after the Minotaur.

Although Gilgamesh could catch him in an instant he decided to take it easy.

But finally Gilgamesh decided to overtake Aiz because it had been a while since the Minotaur had left his sight and he didn't want adventurers to die unnecessarily.

After catching up he could see that it was cornering a girl with white hair so in an instant he cut it with his back splashing the girl with blood.

When Gilgamesh got a good look at the girl he was perplexed.

Gilgamesh: [Bell but why is she a woman!!!!?]

The girl had white hair with beautiful red eyes with a nice figure although she wasn't very tall.

Bell woman just looked at Gilgamesh before running away leaving Gilgamesh even more perplexed.

Gilgamesh: [don't tell me that .....]

thought Gilgamesh remembering the scene where Bell escaped from Aiz when he saved him and fell in love with her and obtained her growth ability.

But a laugh brought him out of his thoughts and he managed to see Bete with Aiz arriving.

Bete couldn't stop laughing disturbing Gilgamesh a little bit who needed to think.

Bete: you saw the tomato hahahahahahahahahaha

Gilgamesh: Aiz could you please shut him up?

Aiz nodded and gave Bete a little smack on the head who grunted a little in pain.

Finally the rest of the Loki family arrived and they left the dungeon.

As Gilgamesh was about to leave the Loki family Finn called out to him with a friendly smile.

Finn: Gilgamesh tonight we are going to the fertility hostess pub, do you want to join us?

Tiona: Yes Gilgamesh-san it will be fun if you come.

Gilgamesh: well I'll come with you but now I have some business to attend to.

Said this one while he was leaving thoughtfully

Gilgamesh after thinking it over ended up assuming that Bell woman's situation was beneficial to him.

After all if she fell in love with him it means that in the future he would have a powerful ally and most likely a powerful ally.

After finishing thinking about this matter Gilgamesh went to the guild to exchange his monster crystals and to visit Eina.

It was still midday and night was yet to come so Gilgamesh still had time before going to the fertility hostess and meeting the Loki family.

After a walk Gilgamesh finally arrived at the guild and could see Eina talking to an adventurer he recognized.

It was Bell female as far as Gilgamesh remembers at this time the original she should be asking about Aiz and in this case it should be about him so he decided not to interrupt Eina tomorrow.

He went to one of the stalls to change his crystals where there was an elf who looked like someone quite polite.

It must be said that Gilgamesh left a lot of magic crystals in a big sack before entering as he didn't want to show his Babylon gate for now.

Arriving at the stall the elf looked at Gilgamesh and spoke to him.

Elf: Sir, you need to change your magic crystals.

Gilgamesh: Yes, they are all in this bag.

He said handing him the sack and the elf received it and began to exchange the crystals for valis.

After a few minutes the elf finally finished and handed a big bag with coins to Gilgamesh.

Elf: That's 8 million valis sir, you made a nice profit today!

Said the elf smiling kindly

Gilgamesh nodded and walked off with the sack of money into an alley and put it in his Babylonian door.

As tomorrow he would visit Eina Gilgamesh went to Hephaestus' office to update his skirt.

Gilgamesh walked to his office in Babel where the guards let him pass without question.

As he knocked on the door he heard a pass from the other side so Gilgamesh entered.

Gilgamesh could see Hephaestus sitting behind his desk who turned to look at him and smiled sheepishly.

Hephaestus: What do you need Gilgamesh ?

She was talking to him even though she was not looking him in the eyes and had a little blush on her face.

(Remember that Gilgamesh had the Charisma skill and if we put that together with the fact that he was the only man who told her that she was beautiful should be explanation enough).

Gilgamesh just smiled at her making the goddess blush more and then spoke.

Gilgamesh: I need a status update.

Hephaestus nodded and instructed him to lie face down on the couch and Gilgamesh did as requested although he first removed the clothes from his torso although he noticed that the goddess was staring at his torso before looking away and approaching his back

Hephaestus with a needle pricked his finger releasing a drop of blood that fell on Gilgamesh's back who immediately felt a surge of strength.

He could feel Hephaestus gasp and put his stats on a piece of paper before handing it to him still surprised.

Gilgamesh: What happened?

He asked as he looked at the paper in his hand before smiling.

Saber: makes the wearer an agile and powerful melee warrior also an expert in swordplay and gives good amounts of magic an ideal class for sword combat.

Archer: improves long range weapon skills along with better vision also gives the wearer high magic resistance.

Lancer: gives the wearer great agility along with excellent melee skills this class makes great use of range and speed they are skilled long range melee fighters along with great skill in the use of the spear and grants the wearer some magic resistance

Rider: gives the wearer incredible riding abilities although it doesn't increase physical power much it makes up for it in firepower from their weapon attacks along with great magic resistance and a great riding range that allows them to take full advantage of their riding ability

Caster: gives immense mastery in magic to the wearer although it does not give physical enhancements it makes up for it with spell enhancement and a large amount of magical energy the perfect class for wizards

Assassin: although it does not improve the physical attributes it gives an enormous amount of stealth to its bearer along with a low expenditure of magic.

Berserker: this class gives a huge power boost to the wearer but the more powerful the wearer becomes the crazier and more unrestrained he starts to fight although he can distinguish his surroundings perfectly but he will start to lose combat technique and will be more like a beast that wants to kill his enemy the disadvantage of this class is that it expends a large amount of magical energy.

Universal class: this class takes the best of the above mentioned classes giving the bearer the strength of an incredibly powerful warrior compensating all his weaknesses and making him incredibly strong but the disadvantage is that the bearer gets tired much faster.

You can also combine different classes such as Saber and Lancer although they will tire the wearer faster but not the level of the universal class].

Gilgamesh was not surprised after all he went to the 37th floor where a level one adventurer could not go and spent 4 hours killing monsters constantly and killed the boss of the floor together his accelerated growth skill was sure to level up but what surprised him a bit was his magic "Aura of the king".

Hephaestus after recomposing himself just a little sigh but he smiled.

Hephaestus: wait I will raise your level

He said while releasing another drop of blood on Gilgamesh's back as Gilgamesh could feel a surge of power again.

Hephaestus: You gained a new developmental ability, you really never cease to amaze me!

He said letting out a resigned sigh as he handed Gilgamesh a piece of paper.

Development skill:

[Weapon Proficiency B: a skill that gives you a certain proficiency with any weapon you carry].

Gilgamesh smiled at his new developmental skill that fit right in with his Babylon Gate.

Gilgamesh stood up and gave Hephaestus a smile that drew a small blush from him

Gilgamesh opened a golden portal which surprised Hephaestus and he saw how out of it came a sword which he recognized as the sword of Uthman.

Hephaestus: Udaeus' sword so you went to the 37th floor that's why you leveled up so fast but since you got this sword so easily it's very difficult for Udaeus to release it.

Gilgamesh: You remember my Golden Rule ability.

Hephaestus thought about it for a moment before the truth hit her.

Hephaestus: it also works on monsters

She said impressed that a skill like this will work on monsters.

Gilgamesh: here is a gift

He said giving the sword to Hephaestus who was surprised.

Hephaestus: Wait, are you sure you don't want to sell it, this sword is worth a lot of money?

Gilgamesh just shook his head and smiled at Hephaestus.

Gilgamesh: I don't want it, I have enough money and I know you will use it well.

He said referring to Hephaestus' blacksmith work.

Gilgamesh just let out a small amused chuckle.

Gilgamesh: you should smile more you look pretty smiling.

He said blushing Hephaestus who ended up nodding.

Gilgamesh then left on his way home.

After walking for a while he arrived home.

First he took a shower then he dressed in a black suit with a raincoat of the same color both had golden touches and the inside was red (I will leave the clothes in a comment) and he also wore golden earrings along with a necklace of the same color.

After a while it was getting dark so Gilgamesh went to the fertility hostess.

On the way most of the women stared at him as if he were a piece of meat while the men looked at him a bit annoyed.

When he was close to the fertility hostess he could see that the Loki family was also arriving so Gilgamesh decided to approach them.

When they saw him the girls of the family looked at him carefully even the always serious Riveria.

Finn: I'm glad you came Gilgamesh-san let's go sit down I already reserved a table.

Then we all went inside while a girl guided us to our seats.
