31 Warnings

June has been, strangely, feeling extremely exhausted. It started after he was snapped out of his thoughts by his mom.

So after dinner. June didn't wait for Andrew to get home as he kissed his mom goodnight, which surprised her. He head straight to his room, placed his glasses on his work table, collapsed on his bed and was immediately out, the moment his head hit the pillow.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------

June opened his eyes and saw that he was in dance studio. He turned his head to see a young lady standing, facing a young man. June realized that she was facing Harper, as his back was facing her.

"You're a really great dancer" Harper said, still fixing his things, "But that's not why you're hear, is it?" He said zipping his bag

"The Queen has sent the Lion and the Wolf to hunt, and you are their prey" The young lady said, in warning

"I've heard of the rumors, but thank you for confirming them" Harper said, turning around facing the girl.

"Why are you calm? You should be hiding" The Girl said, confused

"I'll be fine" June said, "But I have to ask you a favor" reaching for his wallet and taking out a folded piece of paper.

"I need you to deliver this to a young man, named after the sixth month of the year. You can find him in the town where you found me" Harper said, making the the young lady's eyes widen in surprise

"How did you-?" The young lady was about to ask but Harper said "You started knowing and discerning a lot of things when you already lived for centuries."

"Anyways, you must hurry and please guard this with your life" lifting the folded piece of paper "Make sure it reaches him safely"

"But why? how come you are putting your trust in me so easily, when you know I was the one who revealed your location to the Queen. You can never know, I might be still loyal to the Queen" The young lady said

But Harper Just smiled "But you're not, because you came to warn me about the hunt, And that's why I trust you" Harper said "Now, hurry"

Without hesitation the young lady turned into a bird, the very same bird where June got the piece of paper, Making June realized that this was all real and it actually happened.

Harper tied the piece of paper on the birds right leg, and when he's finished, the bird swiftly flew out of the window and into the night sky.

So the paper was from Harper, June thought. But what is it for?

Then June's vision slowly started to blur until there's only total darkness.

Then he started hearing Harper's voice but it was faint at first, but it grew louder and louder.

"Find them June" June could hear Harper voice saying

"Find them and don't let them be taken!" His voice urgent.

Then suddenly, June was transported into a cliff. The view was stunning, the sun setting, giving off a warm glow, reflecting on the calm ocean. Realizing that he's still wearing the same clothes that he slept in, which is only a pair of sweat pants. The cool, gentle breeze blew, touching June's bare skin made him shiver.

Rubbing his arms, June turned his head, and in the edge of the cliff, he saw a group of people, twelve of them to be exact. People of different ages and ethnicity, And all of them looking at the vast horizon.

Noticing that June's in their presence, One by one they all turned to him. June couldn't explain it but there's something about them, That June could only stare at them with awe.

Four Males and Eight Females, all of them radiating with with unspeakable power.

June didn't even realized that he was holding his breath, until he heard Harper's voice again, making him release a huge breath.

"Find them June.... You need to find them" Harper's voice pleaded

June didn't get the chance to clearly study their faces, when in the horizon, dark clouds started forming. The air suddenly felt heavy and the clear skies started being covered in darkness.

The twelve turned their attention to the horizon, facing the danger head on.

The dark presence that June felt, made him shake uncontrollably. He suddenly felt like he's carrying something so heavy, that his breaths are becoming more labored by the moment. He started sweating so much and his heart started beating faster.

June couldn't explain the dread he's feeling as he watches the sky be painted in black. Then a wave of darkness assaulted him, blinding his vision.

"Find them June... Find them.... You have to find them" Harper's voice kept saying

Then June heard a menacing laugh, that would make anyone cower in fear.

-----------------------------------------------------------

June shot out of bed, gasping for air and drenched in sweat. He blinked his eye rapidly, removing the blurriness in his vision. June took a look at his surrounding and when he realized that everything was just a dream and he was still in his bedroom, His breaths started calming down. He rubbed his eyes, turned his gaze to his digital clock and saw that it was only one in the morning.

June inhaled deeply and slowly let it all out. He sat in his bed, can't seem to take his mind off of his seemingly realistic dream.

June lie down, starring at the ceiling, can't seem to find his sleep.

"What's the matter Leader, you seemed troubled" The voice in June's head, who June named Ignis, said. His voice laced with concern

"It's just this dream I had, it felt so..... real" June said, his voice soft and a little shaky

"They say that dreams could be a sign or a warning to help you prepare for what lies ahead" Ignis said

"But prepare for what?" June asked

"For now, don't over think it Leader. As time will come that everything will be much clearer and make much more sense" Ignis said

"I hope so" June said, letting out sigh

-------------------------------------------------------------

Arisa entered the kitchen and was surprised to see June, who's behind the stove.... cooking?

"Oh hey, Mom" June greeted "I brewed your coffee" He said busy flipping pancakes on the pan.

"Thanks.... honey" Arisa said, puzzled by June's behavior. "Honey are you okay? Did you sleep well?" Arisa asked, worried while pouring herself a cup of coffee.

"Yeah, Why?" June said, turning to her, confused

"Well for starters, this family is not the breakfast family kinda type" Arisa said

"Well..... I just felt like waking up early and make breakfast today" June said, smiling at his mom

"Okay..... Then I guess we're having breakfast." Arisa said, smiling at his son, feeling proud. Then her gazed landed on June's hand and saw a lot bandages on his fingers, hands, and even arms. And it made her even prouder; just thinking of his son, working hard to make breakfast almost brought her to tears.

"Mornin!" An energetic Andrew greeted, entering the kitchen. "Oh, hey big bro, I didn't know you could cook?" Andrew said, while sitting on an island chair.

"Neither do I" June said, putting a plate of pancakes with maple syrup, eggs and bacon in front of Andrew. Then he went on and ruffle Andrew's hair playfully "So how was the date last night?"

Andrew blushed uncontrollably but he was smiling "It went well..... I think" he said with a shy voice.

"Oh It went well, alright" Arisa said, smiling, her gaze fixated on her tab while drinking coffee. "Your brother went home at ten last night with a lipstick mark on his cheek and smiling like there's no tomorrow"

"Mom!" Andrew said, blushing even more making June laugh

"See I told you, you could do it" June said, happy for Andrew

"Thanks" Andrew said with a shy smile.

Andrew took a mix of some pancake, egg and bacon and shove it in his mouth. His eyes widen and said "Wow, This is good" Then went on and munch some more.

"Thank buddy" June said, siting on the island chair across Andrew and taking a bite from his own plate.

June's gaze shifted to the framed picture on the edge of the island table. June saw that picture everyday and used to asked his mom who was in it. It's a wedding photo of June's parents and his dad's closest friends. Pictures and Arisa's stories are the only things left for June to know what was his father like, what he looked like and to know the father he never had growing up.

In the picture they were all smiling, the guy's arms are hook on each others shoulders, and the girls looked like they were all giggling. They all looked so happy. Everything looked normal but for some reason, June couldn't point out what, but something felt different in the picture, that June wasn't feeling before.

"June?" Arisa said, that made June shift his gaze to her "Are you okay honey?"

June realized that he's been starring at the picture for a long time, not even touching his food. Arisa and Andrew gave him a concerned look.

"Yeah" June answered, getting up and putting his plate on the sink "I'll just take a shower" then left the kitchen.

Both Andrew and Arisa look at each other, confused and worried.

"He'll be fine, he just has a lot on his mind lately" Andrew said, munching on his breakfast

"Watch your brother form time to time okay?" Arisa said, still worried

"I will" Andrew said, reassuring her.
