66 Monsters!

In a hidden spot near Lady Maria's Guild House, Master Egor's scout saw that a girl went out of the house and walked out in the open.

"Sir, one just showed up. We are ready on your command" The scout said, telepathically

"Take it out!" Master Egor commanded without wasting any time at all.

"Yes sir!" The scout said, then carried out the order telepathically to his other Guild Mates "Engage!"

The scout just said one word, but it only took one word for the blood to boil in every vein of Master Egor's members.

The long range attackers were the first one to attack, shooting out a wide array of projectiles and whatnot.

"Master! Master Egor just engaged!" A young man reported to Scott

"Do not engage! Wait for my signal" Master Scott ordered. Something wasn't right and he couldn't shake off the feeling that he's missing something. Why would Lady Maria send out just one? She must have something up her sleeve, and until she shows it, he would continue to be cautious. Then he saw the chilling smile on the girl's face, making Scott shiver to his bones. "Something's not right" Master Scott thought, but he kept his expression calm.

In front of Lady Maria's Guild house, a young girl stood her ground without fear as a wide array of attacks flew towards her direction. The girl might seem fragile but the grin on her face says otherwise. The girl lifted her right arm in front of her, her hand holding a what seems like an oil lamp. But before the girl could do anything, the wide array of attacks rained down on her.

"Direct hit Master!" The scout reported, making Egor let out a delighted laugh.

"Excellent!"

But on Master Scott's Guild, his face was a serious as ever, as he was deep in thought "This couldn't be that easy, is it?" Scott thought as he watch in anticipation what will happen next.

Master Egor's guild was rejoicing, but the scout noticed that something wasn't right. If they successfully took out the girl, they would at least earn one point, but as the time went by, no points were added to their score.

The scout watched carefully as the cloud of smoke disappeared slowly. As the dust was settling, the scout's eyes widen as what was behind the smoke was slowly revealed.

When the dust completely settled, a gigantic skeleton, burning violently with violet flames, greeted them. And below the skeleton was the little girl, who stood with the same chilling smile plastered on her face, looking like she was very much enjoying the looks of disbelief in everyone of her opponents's faces.

The scout was really surprised but he didn't stay that way. He was a trained soldier and something like this could not make him back out.

"Do not falter! Everyone advance!" The scout ordered.

All of Master Egor's soldiers charged at the girl without fear in all directions, but instead of retreating in fear, the girl stood her place, devoid of any fears in her eyes. As Master Egor's soldiers near the girl, suddenly one by one they dropped to the ground, halting their charge. Their faces filled with confusion as they stare at their unconscious comrades on the ground. Looking carefully, the scout noticed that what hit their comrades were… feathers?

Amidst the confusion, a stream of light flashed in front of their visions, followed by a sudden pain flaring all over their bodies. More of Master Egor's soldiers dropped to the ground and rolled in pain. Then spheres of water, enveloped some of the soldiers, completely trapping them in a water prison. The scout was starting to panic, as the situation has gotten bleaker and bleaker. He thought of retreating, but when he turned around he was greeted by a little boy.

"Hi!" The boy greeted with a smile

The scout was confused as to what a little boy was doing in the middle of a battlefield but he didn't have time to think about that. His main focus was to go back to the Guild and ask for reinforcements.

When the scout was about to make a move, a light glinted in front of him and suddenly the boy was nowhere to be seen. The next second, the side of his body was sliced opened and blood flowed like a river form his wound.

The scout was stunned, "How did this happen?" He thought, but at the edge of his sight, he saw the little boy standing behind him, but what shocked him was what the little boy was holding. The little boy held a scythe, bigger that the boy's body.

The boy turned to the scout and said "I'm sorry…... but you are one of the bad guys" The boy stated in an apologetic manner, which was the complete opposite of the savage aura that he is emitting. He thought that he has already seen what real danger was like, but in the presence of the little boy, his body started to tremble.

Master Scott and his Guild along with Lady Oba and her Guild watch the whole event and was completely frozen, as chills ran down their bodies.

Master Egor's soldiers might not even have the slightest of idea on what exactly happened, but the other two Guilds has witnessed everything. Their bodies trembled as their eyes stayed on the group of young people, as the little boy skipped and bounce to the group, holding his bloodied scythe.

"Th-they're monsters" Trace and Camille said with trembling voice.

"Master, we just lost our scout!" One of Master Egor's members informed.

A vein almost popped in his head when he heard, the news. He was extremely baffled and furious as to how all of this happened. Just when he thought that what he heard was bad enough, another one of his members hurriedly approached him.

"Speak quickly!" Egor said, as he was not really in the mood for disturbance right now, but from the look on his member's face, it seems like what he was going to report was something urgent.

"Master, we just got report that Lady Maria's members are scattered across the Castle!" The Member hurriedly informed.

Hearing this, Egor was on the brink of exploding. He was extremely vexed to the point of no return.

The same was reported to Oba and Scott by their respected scouts.

"What the hell is she thinking?" Scott exclaimed in surprise when he heard the report.

It was safe to say the Oba was no different. "Lady Maria what are you thinking?"

Earlier

In a separate room, Maria along with Isabelle, Alex and Pearl were in deep discussion.

"I'm already at the end of my rope here Maria. I honestly don't know what to do anymore!" Isabelle said as she massaged her temples. Her along with Alex and Pearl were already on the brink of breaking down.

They thought of multiple ways in surviving this round of the Games, at the same time wanting to prevent another "Chen" from happening on them. They racked their brains back and forth as they think of ways in protecting everyone and Maria deeply understood this. Unfortunately that was not possible.

"We cannot always protect them, even if we wanted to. This bunch has already lived a life in danger out in the outside world. They have managed to survive this long, and that alone is a testament that they are fighters. We have already provided them with all that we can in order for them to grow and improve, now it's in there own hands to apply them. This bunch is quite powerful if I say so myself, why not let everyone see just how powerful everyone in this Guild really is" Maria said

"You mean….. just go all out?" Pearl asked in bewilderment

"Exactly!" Maria replied

"But what if, it gets dangerous?" Alex asked

"I second that! What if things go south?" Isabelle said in agreement

"I trust everyone" Maria said confidently

"How can you be so confident?!" Isabelle just couldn't understand how Maria's train of thought works.

"You just need to have faith" Maira answered simply

"That's it? Have faith?" Alex said dubiously

"That's easier said than done" Pearl said

"Well, why not take the easier path for once" Maria said with a knowing smile.

For some reason, seeing Maria's smile just washed all the doubt in the three's hearts and pushed them to believe in Maria's words.

"Well…. I guess it's time to see what they've learned from training" Isabelle said with a laugh.

Present

At the corner of the Castle's town square, there a young lady wearing a white dress and hat sat at a cafe's outdoor table. She looked so peaceful and calm, sipping her tea, that one could easily overlook and bypass her blood stained dress, courtesy of the dozens of bodies that littered the Castle's town square. Another young lady sat opposite the young lady in white, but compare to the latter, this young lady's clothes is spotless.

A well hidden scout from Master Egor's guild witness first hand how his guildmates met their demise at the hand of two young ladies. He remembered reporting their status to the guild, one moment, then the next things he knew his guildmates were already wiped out.

"Mission failed! I repeat mission failed!" The scout immediately reported to the guild.

As he was about to leave when something flashed before his eyes, before loosing all consciousness.

"Master Egor, we lost another scout, but before losing contact we gain information that another team has been wiped out" A member of Master Egor's guild informed with trembling voice. The member was deeply afraid and he has a good reason to be.

The trembling member was suddenly lifted from the ground, as Master Egor squeezed his guild member's neck.

"Mas..ter....please.... ha-...have... mercy" The guild member begged as tears streamed his eyes

The guild member thought he was going to really die, when suddenly Master Egor threw him to the side, like he was trash, before storming off. The guild member's limp body slammed on the wall before dropping to the ground like a wet rug. As the other members of Master Egor's guild witnessed their master's wrath fell upon one of their guildmates, they felt extreme pity towards their guildmate, at the same time they were thankful that it wasn't them that had to endure their master's harsh and barbaric ways.

The properly laid out plan that the three guild has, has now fallen into ruin, as Lady Maria's guild members destroyed them one by one.
