2 new family new powers

As I spiraled through the portal that leads to my new life I closed my eyes and thought about what I want to do there the plans I have and the trouble I can get into. While I was going through these plans in my head I started to feel a cold on my face and some type of fabric securing my arms to me. Opening my eyes I saw a dark sky with stars shining bright above.
[ wait I'm outside!! in the cold!!! at night!!! I'm a freakin baby you idiot ROB I don't wanna die before I get to enjoy life here!!!!] "wahhhhhhhhhhhh!'
As I tried to voice my opinion to the sky it really just came out as a cry since I can't actually talk or cuss out a Rob yet… but as I voiced my cry's to the heavens above I heard something or someone moving towards me and fast but what it was I have no idea until I was picked up and could see the face of my possible assailant. What or more accurately who I saw was far from an attacker though as I recognized the face that looked at me the significantly younger face of Lorna Dane.
She didn't look older then twelve or thirteen years old so I guessed the time to be a couple years after she left her home. She looked at me with such sad eyes as she spoke I could tell the pain and trauma was still pretty fresh.
"Hey there are you alone too?"
Not knowing what to do since I can't exactly speak I do the one thing babies are known to do that cheers everyone up, I smiled and giggled in her arms. She smiled to and looked around before saying to me.
"I don't see anyone here but you so I guess your coming with me can't promise it'll be great but at least we won't be alone, I also don't see a name on you anywhere so I give you one I'll call you nyx since I found you at night and i don't know how you survived in the dark of this alley."
[Nyx huh I rather like that name better then my last name to I'll take it] *baby giggle noises*
"I guess you like the name well then Nyx my names Lorna and from this moment on we're family."
Just like that I guess my last wish happened first as I was adopted by Lorna Dane.
///////////// 2 years later(2002)////////////
It's been two years since Lorna found me and we've been moving place to place each stay never lasting more then a month or two. Though on the plus side since then the day she found me has pertty much just became my birthday and also the day my second wish comes into play as I'm definitely stronger then a two year old should be.
Though not enough to draw Lorna's attention as it being a mutant power just a enough to be able to walk better lift certain things and talk/read a little better and also loose a little more baby fat and replace it with muscle. Since my increase in capabilities I've decided to start trying to do certain exercises like lifting things that seem kinda heaven to my small body and running around a lot along with other basic stuff I can get away with. Until the main story really kicks off I suspect I'll just be doing more of this.
Lorna is currently 14 years old as we've been celebrating her birthdays too she hasn't shown me her mutant abilities yet so I have yet to show mine either though I know I have the abilities of Fabian Cortez as I hurt myself when trying to do my toddler exercises seeing it as a good opportunity to test a theory I had I focused on the injury and told it to heal in doing so I got a bunch of information about my body and my x-gene including the fact that all the powers I wished for are actually connected directly to my x-gene including the bloodline powers sneaky Rob.

It's been a great couple years and I'm now a proud 6 years old while Lorna who has been my mother for a while now is 18 years old a few things have happened over the last couple years first being my increasing stats from my second wish with the training I've been doing I'm as fast as a seasoned high school track runner as strong as a full grown man that hits the gym at least 4x a week and my stamina is pretty good to but where this ability really shines is my regeneration.
Now you might be asking how does one train regeneration and my answer to you is very carefully as while I can heal injuries I get that doesn't really help my regeneration so at first I started small with exercise since exercise causes micro tears in the muscles which cause it to grow back stronger so I started with overworking my body. Then I moved up to small bruises after the second upgrade as it's easy to play those off as a kid just falling down and doing normal kid things. After the third upgrade I started doing small cuts on my hands, arms, or back this was probably the hardest to hide from Lorna as even after three upgrades the cuts took around two days for small cuts and a week for a bigger one. But it's going pretty well so I can't wait to see what my gains are in the next couple years.
On another good note Lorna while hesitant did showed me her mutant abilities to which I showed her mine I thought the whole interaction was hilarious.

Interested to see the interactions between our mc and the mutant underground well great cause I should be fun.
Side note comment who or whom mc should go romance in the gifted.
Also this is kinda AU so I'm gonna add some more mutants not seen in the show any suggestions?
I know I didn't give a description for the mc's looks there's a reason for that
