5 Chapter Five

The class was made up of both boys and girls. When I opened the door, everyone stopped what they were doing and looked at me. I didn't expect anything else. I was different. I was an outsider. I turned around to look at any of the guys, but they weren't there. I looked down the hall and saw no one.

"Well don't just stand there, come in Child." I saw a tall and skinny woman. She stood at the front of the class and was smiling at me. I walked into the class and could feel everyone burning holes into my back. I wanted to disappear. I wanted to go back to the other room. It's like they've never seen a foreigner before. Or a black person. I stood in the back behind everyone else. I was relieved when the teacher didn't ask me any questions. She kept looking at me and smiling. I think she was trying to make me feel less awkward. It wasn't working. I felt really awkward.

"Okay, everyone partner up." the teacher whose name I learned was Mrs Seo, motioned for us to find a partner. I stayed in my spot near the wall in the back. I didn't want to partner up. "Now, as you all know, some very special people are coming in today to pick people for a dance competition. I expect all of you to work hard and do your best and listen to the instructors."

Mrs Seo motioned to the door and everyone lost it. The girls broke out into a scream and some started crying. I looked up at the door and saw the guys from earlier. Why was everyone freaking out? The made their way to the front of the room next to Mrs Seo.

" Dual, set, annyeonghaseyo. BTSibnida." What? BTS! I knew the names sounded familiar. No wonder the girls, and some guys, were freaking out. They were idols. We were about to be judged by idols.

I stood there in shock. BTS was going to be judging us. I didn't know how to feel. Should I be excited? Should I tell Gin? I stood there frozen while everyone freaked out. Some of the guys in my class came to stand next to me. They were rolling there eyes and talking about how stupid this was. I got mad for some reason. I clenched my fist and took a deep breath.

"Okay okay, ladies and gentlemen. Settle down. As you know BTS is a very famous group. They will be working on two dances for the chance to be chosen for a dance competition. I expect all of you to do your best and work hard. Fighting!" Mrs Seo was standing on a chair and yelling over the students.

She handed over the floor to the boys. The entire time, they were looking at me. I felt uncomfortable. Namjoon made sure to repeat everything he said in English. I was grateful for that, but that made everyone look at me. I wanted to disappear. I felt watched and judged. I wanted to go back to the room. I just wanted to dance.
