"Good, hurry up catch him!"

In the deepset part of the alley, Kureo yelled slowly, but the movements of his hands were not slow in the slightest. He waved his whip quickly again and again, aiming for the child every time!

"Swish!"

The child remained expressionless, even though the whip moved rapidly, he just stared at Kureo coldly, his body continuously dodged the whip, using the surrounding walls and trash cans to dodge it.

"Quick, he must die!"

"Hey!!"

Before Koutarou's words were heard, there was a slight tearing sound, the child's body slammed heavily against the wall, then fell to the ground fiercely.

A ghoul who has no future, no matter his talent, was not a threat.

The child remained silent, however there was a mass of red forming on his back. Suddenly, a bright red kagune came out. It was longer than his body, it was so small that it seemed light. So light it could break on touch.

The child was only nine years old afterall, and because he was always malnourished. He's less than 1.3 meters tall. It was only recently that he was lucky to eat 2 or 3 Ghoul dantians, which added only little strength. Otherwise, he wouldn't even be able to last a second in the hand of Kureo.

Relatively speaking, the child had scales longer than his body, extremely agile and fast speed, coupled with his amazing resilience, his talent was terrifying!

The long whip hit the child, however his kagune in an instant was infront of him ready to defend against the whip.

Dense cracks surfaced on the Kagune, and broke it completely without it being able to hold on for even a second, turning into cells it dissapated into the air.

This was a one-sided massacre.

But even faced by this one-sided massacre, the child was not phased. Its not that he's fearless, its that he doesn't understand the concept of fear.

Instinct kicked in and reminded the child that he must escape as soon as possible if he wants to leave. But the child did not retreat instead he rushed towards Kureo. He once again tried to activate his kagune from his back.

"Hahaha, I admire you, a weak ghoul like you still thinks he stands a chance against me!"

Kureo smiled without anger, while he was speaking, he waved his arms and slammed the whip towards the child. His eyes became brighter and brighter, almost like he'd seen the child's body cut in half by the whip!

"Boom!"

"Crack!"

Two short sounds almost simultaneously. The child who leaped into the air controlled his Kagune and slammed it into the long whip, but it was shattered in an instant. The long whip slammed onto the childs body and blood splashed!

"Damn it! Cunning little ghoul!"

There was no joy on Kureo's face. Instead, he yelled angrily and hurried to pursue the child.

It turned out that although the child was hit by the long whip, he was not torn in half as Kureo had imagined. Instead, he scaled the wall next to him with the help of the whip and fled far away, as if there was no damage to his body whatsoever.

A child who's accustomed to living in hell has always been numb to pain. How can his escape be delayed because of an injury?

The sound of rapid footsteps were heard between the abandoned houses. It seemed like the child was running aimlessly with no goal in sight, but he was actually relying on his intuition.

Seeing the child agilely fit into the small hole under the wall and dissapear within the blink of an eye, Kureo couldn't help but curse outwardly.

Koutarou looked at the distant figure of Kureo, but stopped. For some reason, his instinct told him that Kureo could never catch and kill the child.

"What a scary child!"

Koutarou couldn't help but make such an evaluation.
