Chapter 2: The Ghost System
Rey woke up and found himself still at his position when he died.
"Why am I still here?" Then, he saw a girl in a dark jacket with a long dark hair.
"That stupid Grim Reaper forgot to pick this soul. Now I need to put a system on this soul." She said angrily and faced Rey with a creepy look.
"What are you looking at?" Rey shivered as he felt cold air around him.
"A-at y-you," Rey was stuttering due to his fear and his irregular temperature.
"Fierce, I see that you can be a successful soul hunter." Rey got used to the coldness easily but he was curious what is a soul hunter.
"Here, put this in your eyes." The girl handed him glasses but it was different. It was far more looking advanced and it looks like a speaking glasses or some sort.
After he put it on, the glasses disappeared but things became weird.
"Okay, let me explain you your work. I am a soul hunter, I am Celes. We, soul hunters, hunt souls of humans that some grim reapers forgot to pick up. Usually, soul hunters collect souls and put them to the chamber of souls where the judge of all beings decides whether they go to hell or they go to heaven. But rarely, we soul hunters pick souls who are worthy of the Ghost system." Rey seemed to be satisfied on the information but one thing was surely bothering him.
"What is the ghost system anyway?" Rey asked.
"I'll explain it to you while we walk back to the Soul Hunter Headquarters. They must know that a new ghost had entered the big league." The girl laughed as she walked through a dark alley.
"Hey wait for me!" Rey ran to follow Celes.

"Welcome to the HQ. You need to register your system glasses. Once there, just say 'system code number and it will show you the code. I will wait outside the room." Celes guided Rey to the Register room where the guard handed him a paper that he should answer. Most of them are personal.
Once he was already registered, he received a message through his eyes.
[You are now registered to the Group, you may now have access to the voice command and voice information search.]
After reading it, the message vanished and he continued his route to Celes' direction.
"Hey I am done, can you now explain this new world I will live in now?!" Celes chuckled at Rey's reaction.
"Okay, this place is called Hell's first chamber, the soul hunters' HQ. It was built for a reason and it's reason was to collect ghosts that causes harm or haunting a person. The Devil lost control of the Demons and Ghosts because he lost his Crystal of Specters. For a meantime, he created this for us. Wait let's sit down, because this will be long." They sat down on the chairs they saw.
"Our main enemy are soulwraths and other sectors of ghosts. There are different kinds of ghosts in this world and you will know them if you see them. Soulwraths are souls of humans that are possessed by dark energy. That usually happens if the Grim Reaper forgot to pick them but talk to them. Weird but true." Rey nodded as he received information.
"Wait, system, any missions?" Rey mumbled and the system responded with one mission.
[Come with Celes and kill a Lemur.]
"What is a Lemur?" Rey said and it made Celes laugh but she didn't explained because the device already did.
[Lemurs are malevolent ghosts that can hurt humans. The angry attitude was maybe because their life cut short or have no proper burial.]
"Is this true? I thought Lemurs are animals." Celes laughed as hard as she could as she heard Rey's questions.
"Come on let's go!" Celes stood up and walked out the hall while Rey followed her.
"Wait I have a mission," Celes replied, "I know you have so come on and we need to kill one."
They went to the over world to find any Lemur souls but they only found many interactive personality ghosts, or ghosts that always speaks with humans. They are always loved and very common.
"Where should we find this kind of malevolent ghost in this peaceful night?" Rey asked but he heard a scream. He decided to locate the scream while Celes followed him.
It was at Carmelita's house. He went inside and saw what he wanted to see. A Lemur soul. He decided to grab the ghost to stop it from harming the maids while Celes draws a sword and stabbed it to the soul.
"Done, the mission is complete, but I have a question. How can I get weapons?" Rey pointed Celes' sword.
"Oh this, if you finish a mission. You can also get one too. Look at the inventory." Rey talked to his system and saw a sword.
"Okay let's go. We might get late for class." Celes chuckled and flew away.
"Wait, Soul hunters go to school?" She laughed while Rey asked for an explanation.
