47 Chapter 44: Hope Chooses To Trusts DMC.

Jenny was reading the information about the next case that was summarized by Sara and took her phone to make a call to discuss the case with the client.

Jenny dialed the number from the details of the case file.

Ring... ring...

"Hello." The call was answered, and a confused girl's voice was heard from the other end.

In New Orleans, at Mikaelson Compound...

Hope filled out the form provided on the DMC website, taking a slight bet that her family could be reunited without fear of Hollow returning.

After the form was successfully submitted, a message appeared indicating that she would soon receive a call from the organization.

Hope tried to search the website to read it more clearly, to determine if it was trustworthy or fake. Even though she had submitted the form, she didn't want to put her faith in something false. Suddenly, the door to her room swung open.

"Hope, I'm going out. Are you...?" Hayley entered the room with a bright smile.

According to her conversation with Freya, Hope was behaving like this due to a bad mood. To change her mood, she asked her to go shopping.

Hope hadn't expected Hayley to enter the room. She was deep in thought, thinking and searching about DMC, so in a panic, she hurriedly hid the mobile from her mother.

Seeing her daughter hiding something, Hayley eyed Hope suspiciously. Hope tried to act normal but failed.

"Hope, are you all right? Why are you so nervous?" Hayley asked her in concern, thinking her daughter might be planning some pranks to make her father come home.

'I must stop her from doing something stupid.' Hayley with a sigh, looked at Hope.

"I'm all right, Mom. I was just surprised when you suddenly opened the door." Hope didn't make eye contact with her mother.

"Is that so?"

"Fine, I'm going shopping. How about accompanying me?" Hayley sat next to Hope and asked her with a gentle smile on her face.

Hope nodded her head. When Hayley was about to leave the room, suddenly Hope's phone started to ring.

Hope looked at her phone to see who was calling, but it was an unknown number. Suddenly, she remembered that the message she read said that someone from the DMC would call her soon.

'Is this a call from DMC? What should I do? Mother is here.' Hope started to think about what she should do now, looking at the phone, unsure if she should answer it or not.

"What happened, Hope? Who is it?" Hayley looked at her daughter, who was looking at the phone call nervously.

"Huh... Mom... it's a friend." Hope tried to lie to Hayley, who raised an eyebrow, seeing her daughter, who always showed confidence, now acting like this.

"Sigh... I'll be waiting downstairs." Hayley walked out of the room and closed the door, leaving behind Hope, who was heaving a sigh of relief.

"Hello," Hope answered the call with slight confusion.

Call connected...

"Hello, I am from DMC. Are you Ms. Hope Mikelson who registered a complaint about a supernatural case on our website?"

'It's them. Should I believe in them?' Hope was in deep thought, upon hearing that the call was really from DMC.

"Hello, Ms. Are you there?" The voice from the call broke Hope's deep thought.

"Yeah. I am the one who did it." Hope nodded her head while answering.

"Can you explain in detail for us to have a clear understanding of the situation?"

"Sure. I will explain in detail..." Hope put aside her doubts and decided to trust this DMC. So, she started to explain everything in detail, except the family details. She spoke about Hallow and how she and her family can't reunite because of the curse cast by Hallow.

When Hope was telling all the details about Hollow in her phone call, outside her room behind the closed door, Hayley was listening to the conversation with wide eyes.

'I can't believe what I am hearing. She's asking someone to solve a Hollow, which is impossible.' Hayley, with a solemn face, immediately opened the door.

Forks...

Jojo's House...

Jenny noted the details that she got from Hope through the phone, but the call suddenly got cut off.

"Call cut off. It must be a signal problem." Jenny muttered. When she was about to make a call again to the client, her mobile phone started to ring.

She looked at the caller while checking the information she noted about the case in one hand.

When she noticed the caller, she immediately picked up the call.

"Jojo, where have you been? It's already late." Jenny started to ask worriedly.

"I..."

"I have happy news. We have a new case." Jenny interrupted Jojo before he could say anything happy about the new case.

"I am in..."

"Come home quickly. This time we need to go to New Orleans. You know." Jenny once again interrupted him enthusiastically.

"Jenny." King, who entered the house, looked at his wife who was talking to Jojo enthusiastically.

"I am in po..."

"Yes. Tell me, darling. Oh, wait a minute Jojo. Kang is here." Jenny started to ask Kang questions about how his day was and such.

"Jenny, who is on the call?" Kang asked his wife, who was questioning him continuously without any pause.

"Oh, it's Jojo," Jenny said with a smile.

Kang knew his wife was very happy for some reason and told him about the next case they received.

"Hey Jojo, congrats man! You got your next case in a week." Kang took the phone from Jenny and wished Jojo.

"Kang." Jojo, who was on the other side, called his name with a neutral tone.

"Yeah."

"I am at the police station. So come here to solve the misunderstanding and free me from the charges." Jojo said in a breath and cut the call.

Call ended...

When Kang heard Jojo on the call, he stood up from the couch in shock with wide eyes. Seeing her husband who looked very shocked, Jenny questioned Kang about what happened.

"Jojo was at the police station. Hurry up, we need to go," Kang stated hurriedly, taking his car keys and walking towards the door.

"Wait... I am also coming with you." Jenny, who heard Jojo was at the police station, started to take her things and walked towards the car to go to the police station.
