140 Deduction
"So that's basically what happened..." Reclining on the couch, Jiraiya made an exasperated sigh. Next to him, Orochimaru nodded. "It was unexpected, but Ashina-dono was very understanding."
"So, the Uzumaki will join us?" Tsunade couldn't believe her ears. It sounded like an impossible idea, yet given the current situation, she had to admit that it was the only way out.
"..." Crossing his arms, Jun felt like it made sense; The other villages wouldn't dare to attack the leaf directly, especially if the entire Uzumaki clan was with them. "Instead of a frontal confrontation, where any of them could betray each other, it'd be much wiser to bide their time and wait until the war."
Hearing Jun's eloquent deduction, the rest couldn't help but agree with his words. Whistling, Tsunade raised an eyebrow in surprise.
"Wow, I didn't think about that. Indeed, they wouldn't trust each other enough to become allies, especially if they're facing the leaf in our home ground." Chuckling, she ran a hand through her blond hair. "How will we accommodate such a large clan?"
"Although I don't know the details, our village will pay for the construction of a large compound, big enough to house the entire Uzumaki population. Other villagers that do not belong to the clan will have to fare for themselves." Jiraiya sighed. "A bunch of people will lose their homes..."
"But that's just how life is." Narrowing his eyes, Orochimaru spoke matter of factly. "Nothing is fair in this world. The Uzukage prioritized his blood's survival, and it's completely understandable. That's what happens when a single clan rules a village."
"What if the villagers don't agree to move?" Raising hi shand, Minato politely waited until it was his turn to speak.
"They'll declare the news to the public tomorrow morning. Anyone that wishes to stay can, but the Uzumaki clan won't be held responsible for what happens to them." Massaging his forehead, Jiraiya sighed once again. All of this was much too complicated.
"But... Uzushiogakure is one of the most peaceful shinobi villages... Why would they be targeted to this extent?" Nozomi couldn't believe it. All she ever read on the Uzumaki painted them as great people. She couldn't fathom how other villages could decide to get rid of them like that.
"Interests. Us humans are greedy, making peace an arguably impossible ideal. Think of it like this; peace is like a wild beast. You can tame it, but it's tough to maintain." With his arms crossed, Jun glanced at Nozomi.
'Well, not that I'll let that stop me. Both my ideals and Hashirama's were flawed, but if I can achieve total deterrence...' Unknowingly, Madara started thinking similarly to Itachi. If he was able to induce fear into the hearts of his enemies, maybe he could achieve peace for his village.
Although he liked fighting, he disliked war. Not the concept, but the reasons for which it broke out. Never was it to measure each other's strength... Instead, it was based entirely on interest.
First, he would right his wrongs by foiling the other Madara's plans every time he could. With the Uzumaki clan destruction now almost averted, he knew what to do next.
'I won't let anyone get in my way... Including myself.'

'Fake' Madara's hideout, near the land of waterfalls.
Waking up from his slumber, Madara's Rinnegan shined with purple light as he watched Ren's sleeping body.
"Tobi. Go." With two simple words, he watched as swirly slowly wrapped himself around the unconscious Ren.
Closing his eyes, his lips curled into a small smile as he fell into a deep slumber once again.
