1 First Encounter

"Hey, Jared! Wanna go karaoke together?" Said Jimmy while as he tangled his arm over Jared neck.

"No, I miss my dear bed," Jared spoke in a tired tone while removing Jimmy arm from his neck.

"You're not fun," Jimmy said while pouting his lips slightly, making him look weird since he's not a beautiful or handsome boy.

"Stop doing that! You're not a pretty girl!" Jared chided the downcast Jimmy before storming out of his classroom.

Outside Winny High School

A woman with black hair hanging down from head to mid-waist stood quietly under a thick lush tree that covered her from the drizzle. Her bangs covered her eyes and her cheeks were so pale as if she were sick. She wore a simple white dress that only covered up to her mid-thigh, while the rest were nothing but a pair of white slender legs. Occasionally, some students would be passed by her. But it was as if they didn't notice a woman standing beside them. They didn't spare her a glance.

This continued until she saw a man with his black hair dripping slightly wet because of the drizzle running through the rain by covering his head with his bag. While sprinting, he caught a pitiful slender figure in taking shelter from the rain from the corner of his eyes.

Nevertheless, he kept continuing his run. But after running for a quite distance, he couldn't help but remember that pitiful figure. Leaving with no other choice, he couldn't help but cursed out loud, "Fuck!" he turned around and headed to his school direction.

Soon after, he arrived in front of the woman and bent his knees while placed his arm over the knees. While trying to catch his breath, the man said with a panting, "You...You, where are your shoes?"

The woman stunned and couldn't react for a while.

Seeing no response, Luke waved his hand in front of the woman face, "Hello! Are you there?"

A tear silently rolled down on her cheeks. She hiccuped before manage to speak hoarsely, "Y-You can see me?"

He was taken aback by how the woman suddenly cries but composed himself quickly upon hearing the woman voice. Her voice was serene and calming his heart for some reason. Though he found the woman question was weird, he still replied it with an obvious tone, "Of course I can see you. My eyes both functioned perfectly."

She couldn't suppress the delighted feeling she felt and immediately pounced on the boy body.

The man instinctively reached his hand and embraced the petite body of hers. His body was sturdy and only took a step back before able to regain his balance. The instant his body contacted her, he creased his forehead and spoke with a scolding tone, "Why don't you wait inside the school? I could feel your body temperature so cold."

Without waiting for her answer, the man put her down and removed his jacket. Afterward, he placed it over the girl body but get shocked upon realizing his jacket passing through the girl body and landed softly on the ground.

The girl body went rigid under the man shocked gaze.

"Y-Y-You..!!" He pointed his finger at the woman in horror after recovering from his stupor.

The woman was about to explain her condition when the boy blurted out in shock, "You are a superhero? Is it your power to be able to pass through any object??"

The woman stunned for a moment before letting out a hearty laugh. She laughed for a minute before stopped and wiped the tears on the corner of her eyes. She then forwarded her hand and spoke, "I'm called Aurel, and I'm in fact a ghost."

The boy startled but still shook her hand and said, "I'm Jared, and I'm a human."

The coldness on her palm immediately transmitted to Jared palm. Jared unconsciously said, "Aren't you cold?"

Aurel retracted her hand and smiled, "No, it is my normal body temperature." Aurel paused before stared curiously at Jared, "So, how can you see me?"

How can this boy in front of her able to see her when almost everyone she met wasn't?

After being hugged by Jared, Aurel bangs that initially covered her eyes were now swept to the side. Hence, the pair of crystalline blue eyes now revealed into Jared view. Jared couldn't help but sucked a deep breath upon his gaze stopped at her gorgeous eyes. It as if he is drowned in a serene beautiful blue lake, surrounded by the only quietness.

Without realizing, his mouth opened by itself and said, "You had beautiful eyes."

Aurel, who had been waiting for his answer, couldn't react for a while at his compliment. Is he complimenting me? Or is he making fun of me? She raised her eyes in a dubious manner and found that Jared face was actually a bit red. Is he really??

Jared, who was embarrassed, suddenly feel a cold palm on his cheeks. He involuntarily took a step back while frowning slightly, "What are you doing?"

Aurel shrugged her shoulders, "I just checked your temperature since I thought you were caught a cold."

"Why do you think so?"

"Because your face was red just now." She grinned meaningfully.

Jared face couldn't help turned red once again. He took a deep breath before said seriously, "Let's go to my house and discuss our problem. I got a lot of questions revolved around my mind, but this place is not suitable."

Aurel nodded before hooking her arm around Jared hand, "Let's go."

Jared wanted to pell the woman hand off but stopped upon feeling her cold arm.

'Maybe with this, I could share slight of my warmth."
