1 What A Weird Way To Die...

"I can't believe it was all true! Am I really going to die like this!?" A girl's painting voiced laced with distress and disbelief is heard as leaves and twigs crunch and break under her.

She is currently being chased through the woods. Frantically trying to bob and weave through the trees, collecting cuts and scratches along the way. She looked out of the corner of her eye and spotted him…

"Shia LaBeouf…"

Currently following her about thirty feet back. He suddenly gets down on all fours and breaks into a sprint. He's gaining on her!

"REALLY!!! WHAT THE HELL IS THAT!! THAT'S SCARY!!!" She shouts, not knowing whether to laugh or cry at the situation she found herself in while trying to pick up the pace. He's almost upon her now, and she can see there's still blood on his face. My god, there's blood everywhere!

'WOULD YOU SHUT UP ALREADY! YOU'RE NOT HELPING!'

"Ahh, I can't believe he's actually a cannibal…"

[A few hours later]

Blood oozing from her stump leg, she falls to her knees out of breath while leaning on her blooded axe. She looks down at the expressionless decapitated head still staring her in the eye.

After a legendary fight for the ages, she was finally safe from Shia LaBeouf. That said, she knew she couldn't live long. She still had no idea where she was, and blood was draining fast from her stump leg. It didn't help that the superstar got a few good hits in during their battle.

"Haa, so this is really how it's all going to end, huh? At least I'll finally be able to see you again..." She sighs sadly at her inevitable death, but welcomed it with open arms. As her vision starts to go fuzzy, she can see a light in the distance.

"Is this the so-called light at the end of the tunnel? I guess no fire is a good sign at least. Hmm, it's coming awfully close, isn't it? Wait, is it me, or is the ground rumblings a little? Oh god! Is that a truck!? Could it be? The legendary…*HONK HONK CRASH*" She exclaimed right before everything went dark.

"Truck-kun!" She screams with a start upon waking up again. Looking around her, she noticed she was in an infinite looking white space.

"Did I really just get hit by a truck in the middle of the woods? Is this some kind of bad fanfic set up…" She questioned incredulously to herself in the blank space. She was honestly baffled by everything that had happened in the last few hours. She hoped someone would come along to explain things soon. She wasn't looking forward to anymore Shia Surprises.

Just as she had been hoping, suddenly a bright light shined down in the blank space. She tried to shield her non-existent eyes and failed miserably upon realizing she no longer had a physical body and she could see through her hands.

Out of the light popped out a rather small little boy. He looked pretty androgynous, all things considered, but she felt he fit the cute and cheeky description more than anything else. Overall, he was probably a shotacon's wet dream. He raised his hand in greeting with a playful voice accompanying it.

"Yo! I'm Rob and you died!" As she thought, cheeky.

"Ahh...hehe, I guess I did. Well, at least I went out fighting..." She chuckled awkwardly, scratching the back of her head a little. Though there was some barely noticeable sadness in her voice.

"That you did! It was super cool, you know! You were all like Bang! Pow! Slice! And he was all like, -_- Haha it was soo coool! I'm totally going to turn that into a video or something." He started animatedly recreating the scene just like a child would.

She could only blush slightly while watching the young-looking boy talk about her last moments. She was expecting him to make fun of her or something, not get excited. She wasn't really used to situations like this. Normally when she did crazy things, her lover would only stare at her blankly before sighing.

"Oh before I forget, congratulations, you get to reincarnate! You did somehow stop the final boss of your world after all. He would have eventually gone on to start the apocalypse in your world, so you saved a lot of lives. Plus, you gave me a good laugh, maybe I'll even turn it into a Utube video in the future? So I'll do this for you. I hope you can show me something fun in your next life. Ah, but don't feel obligated to do so either. You can live a completely normal life if you want to!" The young boy offered her.

She kind of figured this would happen when she was suddenly hit by the truck in the middle of the woods, so she had been prepared. But although she felt excited about having one of her fantasies come true, she still had conflicted feelings as well. Suddenly the young boy put on a thoughtful expression as he looked at her.

"That said, you don't seem as upset about dying as I thought you would be. Why is that?" He asked with a frighteningly mature expression on his face devoid of his previous playfulness.

"Haha...well, I guess it's because I don't have anyone that would miss me if I died. I was an orphan, so I don't even remember my parents. I did have a girlfriend, but… she died a few weeks ago. We couldn't really come to an agreement on kids either, so..." She said with the same sadness returning to her eyes. The death of her girlfriend hurt her deeply, which was why she was taking a stroll in the forest to clear her mind. Her girlfriend always felt comfortable in nature, and it was something they did together often.

As for children, she was fine with adopting a kid from an orphanage, seeing as she was in a similar situation once before. But her girlfriend wanted to give birth on her own and wanted to try artificial insemination. They couldn't come to an agreement and held off on deciding for a few years.

Looking back at it now, she felt like she was pretty selfish to deny her that wish. She just didn't like the idea that she wouldn't be blood related to the two people she loved. She already didn't even have her own parents, at least if they adopted she wouldn't have to feel excluded. It was just unfortunate that she was infertile herself or they both could have just had a child.

It was a selfish and irrational desire, but she was only human.

Rob looked at her intently for a moment before he switched back to his playful expression, as if she had never said a thing.

"Well, that sucks! Anyway, we'll decide what abilities you get and your appearance based on a roulette, that's much more fun, right! I mean, you'd probably try to wish for the 'all mighty systemu' otherwise, right? That'd be boring~," He said as a roulette wheel with numerous powers and abilities, some as simple as expert fisher while some as strong as Absolute Force Manipulation, appeared in front of them both.

"Now, let's goooo~!" He shouted, keeping his carefree mood going.

The wheel spun quickly, making multiple loops around. It eventually stopped, and it revealed her new powers.

"Danny Phantom? Amazing! That's incredibly OP!" She was pretty excited by the option. Many people in her old world didn't realize how impossibly strong Danny was, at least when not fighting another ghost. That's not to mention he only had his powers for a month at the very beginning of the series and they canceled it before barely even a year passed in-universe. He had a lot of untapped potential.

"Ohh, that is OP! You might even be able to travel worlds in the future if you learn how to open a portal to the ghost zone! As a bonus, I'm going to upgrade one of your abilities slightly. I'll make your ghost sense react to danger as well. Just like a weaker spider sense!" Rob said magnanimously. The world he would send her too didn't have any ghosts, so that power would be useless. Might as well help her out a little. Not to mention he owed her for dealing with the aftermath of one of his mistakes...

"Well, now let's roll your appearance!" He said as the wheel changed, this time displaying the names of various figures from both reality and fiction.

*Roll~* *Stop*

"Noire/Goddess Black Heart? I wonder if this is lucky or not~ I mean on one hand, you're going to look like an actual goddess. On the other, good luck fighting off all those admirers~ a goddess's beauty shouldn't be underestimated~," Rob said with an amused chuckle while posing a bit, as if he were talking about himself. He actually hadn't expected her to get that option. Sure, he swayed it in her favor a bit, but her luck must be better than he thought if she actually got a goddess to show up. Well, it works out fine with her ghost transformation, so no complaints from him. He wondered if she'll also have to deal with personality changes when she transformed.

"Well, I guess now we need to decide on your family status. So what's it gonna be!?" He asked with his eyes actually sparkling in expectation.

"Um, could you tell me what world I'm going to first?" She asked hopefully.

"Nope! It's gonna be a surprise~!" He said chuckling. She figured he must really be bored if he was trying to find amusement in something as simple as this.

"Then I guess, as long as I can have a family that cares about me, anything is fine." That's all that she really wanted, anyway. Things like money or power could be acquired easily with her abilities if necessary. If Vlad did it, she could too.

"Hehe~ I was hoping you would say that! Leave it to me!" He said smugly, thumping his chest with his fist.

"That should be everything, then. Ready to move on to your new life? Any last requests?" He asked once more with a serious look on his face. She had a feeling she was being tested, but she didn't know what for.

So she thought about any final wishes she might have, but she really could only think of one. She wasn't sure if he would be able to, but she guessed it was worth a shot.

"If it's possible...could you make Rachel, my girlfriend, happy in her next life? Maybe some good luck, prevent her from getting sick or helping her find someone who will love her? Anything you can do, I would be grateful for." She said bowing her incorporeal body 90 degrees. Because she was bowing, she didn't notice the soft and approving smile that briefly made its way to Rob's face. Then once again, it disappeared like it never happened.

"Un! Leave it to me! Now, time for you to go! You won't get your memories back until you're four so you don't have to worry about those awkward baby years Hehe~ Ah, I'll also give you one more favor I'm sure you'll thank me for later. It's going to be a secret though~ You'll find out what it is eventually~ Good luck!" He said mysteriously before waving his hand grandly making a similar light to his appearance envelop her.

Once the light was cleared, he was left alone in the blank space. After a few seconds, he suddenly burst out laughing, clutching his stomach.

"HAHA! I can't believe it. How can two people wish for the exact same thing like that!? Haha, I was only trying to make up for the first mistake, but this really did become interesting. Still can't believe she bought that BS about the apocalypse." He said, shaking his head, still recovering from his earlier laughing fit.

"Still, I never expected they would both wish for the other to be happy. Humans really are interesting. Each one is so different, I can't get enough of them! Those other guys completely only thought about themselves, I wonder what makes them so different? Well, they entertained me quite a bit already so I'll throw that piece of knowledge in as a favor, might as well solve the reason they were in this situation in the first place. Ohhh, I can't wait to see what they'll do next!" Rob said with pure excitement lacing his voice.
