Chapter 2: Starting a new life 1

Geno P.O.V:

[Ding!]

[System installment complete.]

[Good morning Host]

A soothing voice of a woman wake me up, but when I opened my eyes I was surprise to see a flowing river and across it is a lush land covered with grass and different kinds of flowers.

"Am I in heaven?"

I was still dumbfounded by the beautiful scenery in front of me, when a voice answered me.

[No Host, your not in heaven]

"wh-what, the?!"

I look for the owner of that voice but I didn't find it, I tried to stand up, but there was an unbearable pain all around my body, then my legs give up and I sat back down.

"..Ugh"

[Be careful Host your body is still healing, so rest your body first before moving it]

"Oh, okay"

I followed the voice and rest, I look around and didn't find anybody.

"Umm, what are you by the way?"

[I'm a system]

"system, like the system in Anime, Manga, and Webnovels"

[Yes, Host]

"Awesome!!"

I cant contain my excitement and wanted to jump around in joy but I needed to rest my body, so I calmed my self.

"hey system"

"you said were not in heaven right"

"then are we in hell, if so, its not like what I imagined"

[ were also not in hell host ]

*sigh*

" That's a relief, then where are we "

[ I don't know host ]

[ sorry host ]

"nah, don't worry its not your fault, but why does this place felt so familiar"

[ maybe, its because of the memory of the old owner's body ]

"oh, is that so"

I put my hand together in a praying position and pray for the owner of this body to have a good next life.

[ host, do you want the old owner's memory]

"is that possible?"

"okay, then do it"

A locked memory suddenly got unlocked and flooded my mind with the old owner's memory.

This body belongs to a kid that have the same name as me, Geno. Geno was a normal kid wearing a brown tunik shirt and green short-pants this pair of clothing was his favorite set of clothing, he have a brown wavy hair and a short bangs between his forehead and he also have blue eyes.

One day Geno was playing with his friends along with his childhood friend named Alice, Alice is a normal girl living with her parents, Alice have a long golden blonde hair that it reach her back sides, she was wearing a white dress with a knee length skirt and a blue vest that complement her azure blue eyes, she was really cute that she attracted every male in the same age including him.

They were playing until sunset and everyone returned home. Geno was returning home along with alice because tonight was his birthday party.

"hey geno, tonight is your birthday right"

"oh, yes"

" then"

Alice came close to Geno and suddenly surprised him with a hug that leaved him dumbfounded.

"awawawa, Alice what are you doing?!"

"Surprise Happy Birthday Hug!"

"oh"

Geno didn't complain and hugged back while snuggling his nose on her neck.

"hehheh, hey that tickles"

"sorry, you just smell so good"

"Okay then, smell me all you want"

The were hugging each other and ignoring the envious gaze of others, they where on their own little world until somebody disturbed them.

"you shouldn't hug each other in public, because some of the people here are single, you know."

"Dad!"

"Uncle"

It was Geno's father that disturbed them, they let go of each other with a red face because of embarrassment.

"Hahaha, now, now, don't be embarrass"

Geno's father got close to geno and whisper to them.

"I wont mind the two of you getting close together, but don't give me grandchildren yet"

Their faces became even redder than before after Geno's father told them.

"Dad stop!"

"Okay, okay"

Geno's father stop teasing them and then they they decided to go home.

Geno, Alice, and Geno's father finally arrived home, and open the door.

"SURPRISE!!, HAPPY BIRTHDAY GENO!!!"

The other side was a party with all of Geno's relatives, Geno look at his Birthday party with sparkling eyes.

"wow!"

Geno was so happy that his relatives can make it to the party, Geno entered the house and greeted all of his uncles, aunts, and cousins.

Geno was having fun with his cousins talking, and playing together, until Alice pulled his shirt.

"hmm, what is it Alice"

"your mother wants you"

Alice said while pointing at his mother waving at him to come, Geno nodded and walk towards his mother and received a kiss on his forehead.

"are you having fun in this party Geno"

"yeah mom, thanks for making this birthday party along with dad"

"your welcome dear"

Geno hug his mother and his mother hugged back.

"Geno, now go and open your presents"

His mother pointed at a table full of presents with different shapes and sizes.
