3 Dungeon and Skeletons (2)

When that misunderstanding had been settled, she decided to come with me in my exploration, and every time I ask if she was really okay being with me and all, she always answers with different kinds of approval. When we were moving through a hallway, we happened to bump into a group of skeletons, then one of them came to us and said

"Hmmm… aren't you the ghost we encountered earlier in the day?"

"Y-Yes, that would seem so."

"THEN, would you mind telling me how you are still alive? I'm pretty sure my sister over there lit you up pretty nicely. So how are you still alive? Hm?"

"U-Um, I wa-"

"I think that is unnecessary for you to know."

"Huh? Who the hell are you?"

"I am but a wandering skeleton which is venturing this dungeon."

Then, one of its underlings came up to it and whispered something into its ears, when they were midway in their conversation, she suddenly looked shocked and then looked at me yelling

"You! You're not a normal skeleton, are you?"

"Could you please clarify what you are talking about, good…sir?"

"That's because skeletons normally don't have horns sticking out of their head."

"Hmm… horns, huh?" I said in my mind.

"Oh! And for your information, I! AM! A FEMALE!" she said in an angered manner.

"Then, would you please be willing to forgive the mistake of this young one?"

"Huh? Ain't no way that's happening, but since you are willing to admit your mistake, I will let you off if you win in a fight against us."

"Then I shall accept that. But! I have a condition if I were to win."

"Name it."

"If I were to win, you all shall become my loyal subordinates."

"And if we were to win?"

"I shall become your belonging."

"That is tempting since you are a unique species of skeletons."

"So do you accept the wager?"

"I do."

"Then, shall we start this 'fight' ?"

Thus, how I ended up fighting against this group of skeletons. Two of the five skeletons, came rushing at us equipped with either a sword or an axe, two of them stayed at the back

"Hm? Am I missing something? Oh, the 'girl' who is the leader of the group, where is she? Hm? At the back? Must be a coward, heh." I said in my mind while making a smug face even though I can't…

While the two of the skeletons were rushing towards us, I looked for a skill that was able to use, and finally, I found one. The skill was called [SWIFT STRIKE], and as the name implies, it is a strike which is used swiftly. Then I immediately used that skill, and what'd you know? The two skeletons who came rushing towards us crumbled when I used the [SWIFT STRIKE] of them 3 times. Then, it was time for me to fight the two skeleton mages at the back, I then rushed into them without any sort of planning, and as I expected, the two skeleton mages casted their magic at me without mercy. I mean, I do get where they're coming from, if I had to guess, it would be because what I did to their friend(?). Then, the two skeleton mages yelled out

"You coward! Stop running around and face us directly!"

The word 'coward' somehow triggered my anger. I then quickly looked for a skill that can be of use, and then finally! I found a skill that was worth a try, the skill was called [TIGER'S ROAR], this skill can paralyze the target for 10 seconds, and when I tried using [TIGER'S ROAR], the display screen popped up, written on it was

-Out of Range-

"Out of range? What does it mean by that?" I asked [GUIDE] in my head

[IT IMPLIES THAT YOUR TARGET IS CURRENTLY TOO FAR AWAY FOR YOU TO USE THE SKILL, [TIGER'S ROAR]

"What is its range?"

[THE SKILL, [TIGER'S ROAR], CAN ONLY BE USED WITHIN A 10M RADIUS OF YOUR TARGET]

"Okay! Thanks, [GUIDE]."

Next, after what [GUIDE] told me, I planned out a strategy on how to get close to the skeleton mages. I rushed into them while dodging their incoming spells, and when I think that I had gotten my targets within a 10m radius, I used the skill [TIGER'S ROAR], they then became unable to move, and while they cannot move, I rushed into them and used [SWIFT STRIKE]. The leader became furious and rushed into me, but surprisingly, the leader was weak, so I knocked her out with just my bare hand.
