2 Dungeon and Skeletons (1)

When I regained my consciousness, I found myself surrounded by darkness, the next thing I said was

"Where am I?"

Since I've played a few of those fantasy games, I instantly knew where I was, a dungeon and by the vibe, it seems to be a pretty dangerous dungeon, I then proceed to analyze the situation I was in calmly. Once I have finished examining the case I was in, I decided to explore the rest of the dungeon.

Once I have arrived in another room, I found an animal lying dead on the ground. Also, the animal seemed like it was killed not too long ago, the moment I got within a 5-meter radius of it, a display screen popped up, written on the display screen was

[WOULD YOU LIKE TO DEVOUR THE SOUL OF THIS DEMONIC SABERTOOTH?]

[YES] [NO]

"So its called the [DEMONIC SABERTOOTH], huh? I do admit it does kinda resemble a sabertooth from the Pleistocene epoch. Anyway, let's press the [YES] option."

The skill, [SOUL DEVOURER] then proceeded to devour the soul of the [DEMONIC SABERTOOTH]. When [SOUL DEVOURER] had finished eating the [DEMONIC SABERTOOTH]'s soul, my vision was fading, when my vision was about to fade, a display screen showed up, written on it was

[YOU ARE ABLE TO EVOLVE FROM WANDERING GHOST TO SKELETON, WOULD YOU LIKE TO EVOLVE?]

[YES] [NO]

I immediately pressed [YES]. When I came to, I wondered what happened to me, then a voice popped up in my head saying

[YOU WERE KNOCKED UNCONSCIOUS DUE TO MANA EXHAUSTION]

"Mana exhaustion? What is that?"

[MANA EXHAUSTION HAPPENS WHEN YOU HAVE USED ALL OF THE MANA YOU HAVE]

"Well, that's certainly gonna be a pain to deal with."

When I've finished my conversation with [GUIDE], I suddenly heard loud screamings coming from the hallway, I then ran as fast as possible to the source of the screams. When I arrived at the source, I found a wandering ghost lying on the floor half dead, I then started panicking trying to find a way to heal her, and when I was scrolling down my list of skills, there I saw a skill that was worth a try, the skill was called [SOUL HEAL], the description of the skill was

This skill grants the user the ability to heal species who are inferior to the user's current species

Note: this skill can only be obtained to those who are loved by heavens, and can only be received by a [REINCARNATOR]

Then, I proceeded to use [SOUL HEAL] to the [WANDERING GHOST], when I used [SOUL HEAL] a miracle appears! The wandering ghost opened her eyes, but the moment her eyes opened, she screamed

"EEEEEEEEKKK, STOP! PLEASE STOP! WHY ARE YOU DOING THIS?! WHAT DID I DO WRONG?"

"Calm down. I'm not here to hurt you. I came here to save you from death's door."

"I thank you IF you did save me, but how can I trust a skeleton?"

"Hoh? So skeleton can't easily be trusted?"

"IF you did save me, can you prove how?"

"Do you know a skill called [SOUL HEAL]?'

"Yes, I do."

"YOU'RE A [REINCARNATOR]?!"

"Yeah, is that a problem?"

"OF COURSE IT IS! Creatures are going to try to capture you and make you their slave!"

"That's definitely going to be a problem."

"Anyway, since now I know that you saved me, I thank you from the bottom my heart, even though I have none…"

"Since you trust me now, how about telling your side of the story?"

"I was wandering around the dungeon's hallway when I accidentally bumped into a skeleton. Afterward, the skeleton got mad at me and started attacking me. Later on, the skeleton realized that I was unable to receive damage from physical objects, so he called one of his friends, who was a skeleton mage to hurt me. The mage cast magic that I didn't know of. After the magic was cast, I found myself at death's door, and… that's how my story goes."

"That's a horrible experience if I say so. But let me ask you a question."

"Sure, what is it?"

"Would you like to get revenge on them?"

"No, I do not, since I was the one in the wrong because I was daydreaming while I was walking."

"Interesting..." I said in my mind.

"Let me ask you a question as well. Can I come with you? Since I have nowhere else to go."

"Sure, why not?"
