10 To the Outpost.

"Paimon, You don't even fight." I retorted to Paimon who is eager to fight.

"Ronan you meanie! Lumine, Ronan is a bully." She flew on Lumine's head.

Lumine ignored her plead. Maybe she had gotten used to Paimon's theatrics "Let's go."

Without further Ado our group embarked towards the outpost.

In this journey. There were only normal knights and adventurers.

Of course, we did not walk to the outpost, it's too far to walk and too slow. We took a carriage.

Paimon was talkative and kept asking Rizark and Hertha questions. She's a great support character. Although she is quite naive sometimes.

However, thanks to her we got a lot of information about the world. Well, just in Mondstadt.

It appears the Fatui has been active recently. They even allied. The Knights of Favonius are vigilant of their moves.

"If you encounter a Fatui doing some shady things. Please report it to us." Hertha asked nicely.

Whilst conversing with others, I can't help but turn my attention to the quiet person during this journey. I don't know why she is silent despite her character and somehow she's staring at me.

"Eula, I heard about your dance. I would like to see it." Not minding her gaze, I said.

For some reason, Rizark and Hertha became silent. Eula's lone eyebrow lifted. She was surprised.

"You'll have a chance to see it onwards. My dance isn't some kind of a show to be shown. If you want to see it with your own eyes, you'll have to earn it." However, a person of her stature cannot show any weakness.

"How can I earn it?" I asked. I wanted to see her dance. It was a very elegant and powerful sight to behold. At least that's what I see in the game.

However, I'm quite excited to see it in real life. After all, she only has a few sets of moves in the game. In real life, there should be more of that Dance.

"I see that you are using a Claymore like I am. You wish to learn my skills, but I'm not a petty person. You can learn but you have to help me from vengeance." Her eyes were drawn to the claymore beside me.

My mouth twitched. Well, her vengeance is not that complicated. I can deal with it.

"What should I do?"

"For now, I want to see how you fair in this battle. After that, I will tell you what you can do for me." Eula cupped her chin as she thought. But her eyes flickered, which I did not notice.

"That's great." I smiled.

I may not be proficient in fighting but it doesn't hurt to try. With my strength right now, I can deal with the small fry first before trying to big ones.

Rizark and Co were busy talking themselves and did not notice my conversation with Eula. Right? I mean they are busy talking to themselves.

The reason why I'm trying to get close to her is not just because of her dance but also her. Did I mention I like some characters in the game?

Yup, Eula is one of my favorite characters I like. Seeing her in person made me very excited. Lumine may be very beautiful comparable to Eula but I still have morals. She's 15 even if she is chronologically a thousand years old.

Lumine told me her age. It means she is 15 no matter what and that doesn't dwell on me. But it doesn't mean I'm not interested in her. I will wait.

Well, Some people don't want a harem. I was in a religion that supported harem. So the monogamic style is not fully integrated with me.

So in my mind, I'm targeting Eula. Looking at her gorgeous figure, I can't wait to make her mine. For now, let's make her have a deep impression of me.

The Outpost. A small fort filled with knights and soldiers. I see some soldiers wounded and bandaged all over their bodies.

It appears the situation is very dire. The morale is lower than expected.

However, Rizark stood on a podium and shouted. "MAGGOTS! Is this how you wanted to fight for your freedom?m! Do you know that if you fall here, the city behind us will fall sooner! Why can I see some dispirited faces here Huh! Listen up! Those who are able can arm themselves with me! Let's fight to protect the freedom we are fighting for! WE CAN'T LET ANYONE TAKE OUR FREEDOM!!"

The uninjured and injured watch Rizark gave his speech. They felt ashamed, now that they remembered what they were fighting for. Their faces tightened as they stood up, grabbed the weapon by their side, and stood up. They also seemed fear Rizark.

Rizark gave another speech to boost the morale of everyone.

Hertha and Eula prepared the people who would go with us. There are only hundreds of Knights and Soldiers with us, these soldiers consist of Adventurers, Mercenaries, and some professionals.

We embarked to the Ruins where the Hilichurls camped.

Some teams separated from us to corner the horde.

I gripped the handle of my claymore hard. I'm quite nervous, this is my first time, fighting. Lumine already lifted the seal, so I'm back at my full power. I can rampage all I want.

Lumine saw my expression, she got close to me and whispered. "Don't worry, I'll protect you."

Oi oi oi, How can I let a frail-looking girl protect me (even tho she's op), I'm a man. A man should stand up for himself.

"Thanks, but I want to protect you instead," I said with a smile, showing my teeth.

Lumine's cheek became slightly red and nodded.

Oh. That's a nice reaction. She is not calling me a pervert now.

No longer, do we encounter the horde. The horde was also waiting for us.

"They are here! Prepare yourselves!" Rizark shouted as he took out the sword on his waist. The sword was covered with red light. He was positioned in front.

A mitachurl holding an axe was in front of hundreds of Hilichurls at the back, there were shooters and samachurls within the group.

Samachurls are like mages or vision holders who can use elements. They are a bit problem.

Thankfully there are few of Samachurls.

"Lumine and Ronan come with me and let's take out the Samachurls first," Eula commanded.

Lumine and I nodded. While Rizark was dealing with the Mitachurl we had to take out the troublesome enemies.

According to the intel we have. There should be a few Mitachurl, we have to stay cautious in case of ambush.

And also, there is a mastermind. The abyss mage.

"Ika!" A hilichurl stands in my way. A thought running through the back of my head. It was just a blink but I firmed myself up.

I slashed my claymore hard. The Hilichurl was sliced in half it disintegrated after being killed. Just like in the game, it dropped items.

This is unusual. Because If I remember correctly in some parts of the map or quest there are bodies of perished Hilichurls.

I shook my head, there are still some things about this world I don't understand. I better focus.

As I continue to deal with Hilichurls on the path. I saw Eula's dance, my sight lingers at that for a moment if not because of Hilichurls coming straight at me, I would've watched her dance longer.

The at the other side. I also saw the amazing swordsmanship Lumine displayed. It was also fascinating to watch.

Unlike me who only knows how to swing blindly. I felt a little bit ashamed. But I'm not discouraged as I have plenty of time to practice in the future. I only just got here.
