Ch 38-peekaboo, I See You

"Before Meliodas Followed Kaga-

No, I will see her right now. let's get this over with, so just give me a sec." Going back to the room and closing the door I spoke to Merlin.

"Alright, Merlin here's the plan I'm going to send a [Lost Vayne] clone with her for safety. il also call back the rest of the clones so that in case she does tack the clone, they will immediately attack as backup. Maybe I could give [Wish Ender] and [D.A.R.C.I.] to two other clones so that they could take her out from afar if possible." (Meliodas)

[I think that's a good plan, send a fake as a decoy and drag her out to the open for the kill] (Merlin)

"If possible I don't want to kill her but if I have to then I will"

After discussing the plan quickly, I sent a quick mental message to the [Lost Vayne] clones to return quickly through the sword. Drawing out lost Vayne once again I made an extra Copy which was already very weak as it had its power divided from the original by a lot.

Because of that I decided not to send the clone with a weapon as it would be useless to do so and he could possibly lose one of my good weapons, I also changed his clothes as it would look suspicious to Kaga because I'd been in here for a long time.

As all the things were ready, I hid in a Corner and made the clone open the door.

My clone finally leaving, I stopped hiding and waited for my clones to arrive. After a few minutes, I heard a knock on my door.

Opening it I found a copy of me carrying a little girl in rags in his arms.

"Huh? You got a recruit already?"

"Yup, I'm sure you can see that she has a great talent for being a merchant just how I saw it"

Looking closer to her I noticed that it was Topaz from Star Rail. I have to say that I'm surprised that there are so many characters from different franchises, the girls surprised me along with Jingliu and Kaga.

"Um, big brother why are there two of you?" Spoke Topaz with a confused tone.

Hearing her question I just smiled and told Copy number two to put her on the bed, with a poof he disappeared and all his memories rushed into me, helping me into fully understand her situation. seeing that she was confused I explained a little about the clones I made through [lost vayne] making her eyes sparkle with amazement.

"Woah!, really Can I try!" (Topaz)

"*Cuckle* no not right now, especially since it's a weapon that you have no proper training with and were about to leave." (Meliodas).

"Were Leaving already?" (Topaz)

"Yup, were about to leave the city and travel, but I have to take care of some 'troubling' matter first" (Meliodas)

"I See, Hm?" feeling a tug on her rags she looked behind and found two cute babies looking at her curiously.

"Whoa they're cute, whose kids are they? are they like me?" Asked Topaz with a smile.

"They are my children, and I guess you could say that they kind of like you though their circumstances are special"

"Really, and what so speci-" Before Topaz could ask another person knocked on the door. Opening the door he found the first copy carrying a skinny blue-haired man.

"Yo original me I brought a new recruit! hehe I'm good at this ain't I" said the copy with a smug smile.

"Um, captain, why are there two of you?" Ban Asked with a confused face.

After bringing both in, and dispelling his clone to gain his knowledge. Meliodas explained the whole situation making Ban become amazed at what I can do.

[So are we going to leave after the ambush or before]

"Before, il send a copy with you and il stay with 3 here. Topaz, Ban take care of the kids for a bit alright" Earning a nod from them, I made Three copies of myself, with one teleporting away with the others through my [Weapon Warp] skill.

I myself and the other two copies were all ready to go to the copy that went with Kaga.

Going to the location as me and the other could feel where he was, we positioned ourselves from afar to see what would happen. Two of my copies were already on top of different pagodas and equipped with [D.A.R.C.I.] which is basically aimbot inside a gun, and the other copy had [Wish Ender] bow that allowed him to see through walls as he aims with it.

"Delta what the status" (Meliodas original-Bravo)

"Target Meliodas is walking up the stairs," reported Meliodas with the wallhack bow. (Meliodas Copy 1-Delta)

"Alpha are you in position" (Meliodas original-Bravo)

"Affirmative, I'm already positioned in the highest pagoda I could find. Ready to pull the sniper trigger whenever sir!" (Meliodas Copy 2-Alpha)

"... this is kinda fun isn't it" admitted the original Melioda through a mental connection (Meliodas original-Bravo)

"It kinda is" (Meliodas Copy 2-Alpha)

"Yup, wait! Target has made contact!" (Meliodas Copy 1-Delta)

Hearing this all the rest of them became quiet as they waited for things to unfold

"Target one is kneeling, looks like poisoning" Answered Meliodas with a bow as he saw what happened through the walls from afar.

"Damit, good thing I sent the decoy in" (Meliodas original-Bravo)

"Yes it was a good idea, Get ready I can see decoy Meliodas dragging himself outside for a clean shot" (Meliodas Copy 1-Delta)

As things unfolded in front of Meliodas Copy one, the Meliodas decoy finally died with a pof of smoke making Akagi panic. all the experiences that Decoy went through returned back to the original Meliodas.

"Damit!, she wants the kids! Alpha, Delta Shoot!" Exclaimed Original Melioas.

Hearing this Copy One and Two got ready to shoot, First Delta shot an arrow towards Akagi's head making her dodge, but all that when to plan as the second copy shot Exacty in the place where she moved to, getting her on the shoulder with a bullet.

"Target 2 is injured Open fire again and move location,"

Shotting again towards her failed as she dodged and jumped down, making her unshootable by both copies as a tower and walls inside the castle blocked their view

"il go down and deal with her while you two give support from afar and get into a clear position""

Moving places, Meliodas Whent down of his position towards Akagi and took out [Frarant Olive sword] and [Lost Vayne] on each hand to fight, he could use [Judgement of Shamash] But that would create too much collateral damage that could take innocent lives. [Frarant Olive sword] was much more versatile and could act as defense and offense in a populated area like this place without causing too much damage.

the two other copies changed location and already had Akagi in their sights as she was giving out orders but didn't shoot since she would just dodge. They would shoot her when ordered or when they could when she fights Meliodas so that she wouldn't have much space to do anything and to pressure her.

Finally, Meliodas was already getting close to the castle as he went to the front gates.

"All of you ready!" (Meliodas)

"Yess!!!" (Copy one and two)

holding up his sword he concentrated dark energy inside of the blade. he swung down sending out a slash that destroyed the gate, alerting everyone in the castle. Walking in Meliodas was confronted with a small army of Akagi soldiers that were pointing their weapons at him.

"Surrender now!" (Soilder 1)

"Nope Fuck You," Said Meliodas as he rushed at the crowd with his sword, A bright smile appeared on his face as he started getting excited about fighting against an army. He wasn't a battle junkie but this was something new to him making him excited.

Thus the Mini war Between A woman who loves her city and a man who doesn't like loose ends begins.
