10 Going system shopping

Igarashi closed all of his present system tabs and opened the system shop function. There, he saw five choices:

He checked all of it and slightly frowned when he saw that most of the classes in the system shop are still locked. He frowned even more when he saw the special event at the bottom. It reminded him of his dark past. 'Gacha... Gacha hell... Fake 5-Star guaranteed from Fate... No!'

He resisted his urge to check the special event as it ruined his life decisions in the past. 'Not again!'

He avoided the special event and instead checked the Mortal class section. There, he saw what he probably thought was a miracle from the gods.

Igarashi dropped down on his knees as he reads the things that were stored in the mortal class. "Bedroom... Finally...! I can sleep comfortably!"

He didn't hesitate and immediately clicked the [Buy] button on the bedroom choice in the system.

[Successfully purchased.]

[Installing...]

[Complete.]

*THUD!*

Suddenly, Igarashi heard a loud bang on the second floor and immediately went to the source of the sound. When he arrived, he saw something rather... Peculiar.

It was a white wooden door that he was sure wasn't there before. He went to it and opened it and what he saw next almost made him tear up.

"This is... Heaven!" He exclaimed

Inside the room, a large bed that can fit two people was present; complete with two pillows and one big blanket.

The room also looked amazing. The walls were painted white. The floor turned to cement instead of wood which is pretty bearable. Of course, in order to get some wind in, a ventilation system was also present to circulate the air in the room.

Without wasting any more eminent, Igarashi jumped to the fluffy bed and hugged it. "Ah... So comfortable..."

He then focused his attention on the system shoo again while hugging the bed.

Then, an item caught his attention. "Automated puppet? What is it?"

Igarashi tapped the item and its description was shown in front of him.

[Automated Puppet]

[Description]:[Using the same design as the Raiden Shogun's puppets, this puppet is able to do any instructions given to it. Given that it is within the puppet's capabilities.]

[Note: Noctilucous Jade is needed to power this puppet for one week.]

'A puppet similar to the puppet Raiden Shogun and Scaramouche, eh?'

From the way it was introduced, Igarashi found that it was actually worth to be bought. However, there is a small issue. 'I have to go find some Noctilucous Jade...'

Thinking about it more thoroughly, Igarashi thought that it will probably be worth it. "I just need to find some Noctilucous Jade, don't I? I can just find some like in the game... I think? No wait, this is real life... *Sigh* Whatever, I'll just see it for myself."

After a few more thinking, Igarashi finally clicked on the [Buy] button and the system shortly replied.

[Distributing...]

Soon, a humanoid figure appeared in the same room as Igarashi. It was made out of... Some kind of material. Igarashi doesn't know what kind of metal it was, though. It has no facial features and looks just like those wooden puppets back on earth.

And it just... Stood there. Doing nothing.

"Can I edit its appearance?" Igarashi asked the system.

Soon, a system panel appeared in front of Igarashi, and there, an editing system was shown with the puppet in the center. It can change the puppet's appearance and clothing but never give it accessories which is understandable. Oh, and the clothes of the puppet can't be removed or else Igarashi might have thought of getting himself an unlimited supply of clothes.

Seeing the editing function, Igarashi turned serious and muttered with a straight and serious face. "I shall create the most beautiful creation ever. Even Ei's puppet won't match up to this."

After that, he focused all of his attention on creating the puppet in his mind.

And after 10 minutes of experimenting with different facial expressions, Igarashi finally got the look he wants. "This should look good enough..."

Igarashi liked the [Confirm] button and soon, the faceless puppet in front of him started changing. It squirmed a bit like it was alive before dropping to the ground which slightly startled him.

The puppet's clothing started to appear; what appeared was a dark silk cloth that covered its body. Speaking of the body, it also shrunk a but to that the height of a... Child?

Before any readers receive any misunderstandings, Igarashi decided to make the puppet small so it can perform many tasks someone tall like him can't do. Furthermore, being small also has its benefits like agileness.

Soon, the puppet stopped transforming and slowly stood up. What was now in front of Igarashi was a child that looked around the age of 14 and had golden eyes and raven-dark hair. As for what he was wearing, it was a simple t-shirt and some short pants.

The puppet checked itself and looked up to Igarashi and didn't say anything. It just looked at him like it was a curious being.

Seeing the results, Igarashi was quite satisfied. 'This should be good enough.'

"Can you umm... Stay in this room for a while?" Igarashi asked

The puppet slowly nodded and climbed up the bed and sat there, cross-legged.

Igarashi nodded and left the room and went downstairs again. 'With that puppet, the burdens of making manga will be lessened... However, I still need to make them as I don't know if that puppet has good art skills...'

'Now that I've thought about it, I still haven't named it... I don't want to leave it nameless like Ei did to Scaramouche...'

"Hmm..." Hummed Igarashi.

(A/N: You guys can come up with a name. The puppet will be significant to the story as it will accompany Igarashi on his adventures)
