Expansion!

"Alright, that should do it." Igarashi muttered.

He just opened the system's interface for Sasori and inserted the new noctilocous jade inside. He and Sasori came back yesterday and it is already the next morning.

He closed the system panel and looked at Sasori that is closing his eyes. "How do you feel now?"

Sasori took a bit to open his eyes. He looked around and saw Igarashi smiling. "It feels... Refreshing."

Igarashi smiled with satisfaction and pat his head. "That's great to hear."

Igarashi then put his attention on the system store. He noticed something while he was checking the store. There was a 'Shop expansion' that can be purchased for 40 system credits. Its name is pretty self-explaining. 'I guess I need to increase the size of its shop... In the future, I might need to let the customers in and read the mangas inside.'

He thought of this idea and found it good. If he lets the customers have a sit inside as they read his manga, they'll be comfortable. And a happy customer is the best customer. 'Right, I should do it.'

Igarashi clicked on the store expansion and the system's confirmation popped up.

Igarashi clicked on the 'Y' button and soon, he felt the whole shop tremble as if an earthquake is happening. "Wh-What the..."

Even Sasori had trouble balancing himself and grabbed onto a chair. "What's... Happening?"

"J-Just hold on for a bit...!" Igarashi replied as he stumbled to the ground.

After about 5 minutes, the trembling stopped and Igarashi, who was covering his head in fear of being knocked out, slowly stood up. "Is it over...?"

Sasori also stood up and looked around. "Is it just me... Or does it look more... Spacious in here?"

Igarashi also looked around and saw that the inside of their store increased! The ceiling's height increased by at least 5 meters while the living room/work room for his team increased from a 30 squared meter room to a 40 meter squared meter room!

But he soon noticed another thing. The walls changed! It was previously made of wood, but how, it's concrete walls!

He looked around and breathed a sigh of relief. "It's more spacious now..."

He then went outside of his shop and inspected the whole building. 'Hmm... So the outside appearance didn't change with the walls as an exception...'

He then thought of an amusing thought and chuckled a bit. 'Haha, if I continue expanding the shop, won't it technically turn to something similar to the serenitea pot?'

He can already imagine himself continuously expanding his shop and adding in some new things like in the Serenitea pot in the game. He then shook his head and dismissed those thoughts.

'Dang, another store section?' Igarashi thought in amusement. 'Just how many more achievements do I have to get to unlock more functions of the system? *Sigh...*' He internally sighed.

He then looked at the new system store section in the mortal class and saw the new items. 'Whoa...' His jaws almost dropped.

'This... Isn't this a bit too convenient?!' He thought. In the new system section, there was modern 20th-century furniture displayed. Long couches, tables, chairs, beds, lamps, desks, etc.

There were just too many!

And not just that, but their prices are considerably cheap! He looked for the most expensive one and saw that it was a toilet with its own A.I that costs around 150 system credits.

Igarashi then looked at this system credits and gulped. He only had around

230 around.

He then shook his head and breathed heavily. 'Control thyself.'

Then, he looked at the furniture at the system store and smiled. 'Time to decorate this place!'

And so, the shopping craze has begun. Meanwhile, Sasori was going outside to meet his friends before returning to work, leaving Igarashi on his shopping craze.

Sometime later...

Walking on the paved roads of Chihu Rock, Mo Fan was feeling a bit worried today. His boss, Igarashi, have him a rough idea of their next work.

'Return by death...' He thought of such a curse and shivered a bit. 'Returning to the past after dying... I feel bad for the main character that Boss Yunru is gonna make...'

He then thought of their second series and slightly felt relieved. 'At least the second one is quite light. Though the world again is different from ours, I guess that's one of the traits of Boss Yunru's works...'

Mo Fan truly feels like he hit a jackpot being picked by Xingqiu to be sent to Igarashi. He gets to work on something his friends in the editing department don't get to, and all he just needs to do is check for mistakes in his boss' work and correct them.

While walking, Mo Fan had a good smile on his face. He then got to the road leading to Igarashi's shop and walked over.

Seeing the shop he works at, he opened the door, and since he feels good today, he greeted Igarashi with a big smile. "Good Morning, Boss Yunru! I can't wait to—"

But before he could finish speaking, his face's expression changed rather quickly.

He was so dumbfounded, that he wasn't able to utter a word. It was not until a few seconds before he got a grip. "B-Boss Yunru... What happened?!"

What he regularly sees when he enters Igarashi's shop is a living room with three couches in the middle and chairs on the sides of the walls with their respective desks.

However, now, the room completely changed! Even the size of the room is different!

What was now present is a room with two long couches with glass tables in front of them and on the opposite side, tables with four seats were present, and on the floor, a long grey mat was also placed. The walls that were previously uncolored were now painted white. And at the ceiling were lights that were providing light for the room!

"Th-This... What is this...?!" Mo Fan said out loud. 'I had my guesses... But does Boss Yunru really know adepti arts?!'

However, at his moment, a voice came from the back. "Oh, Mo Fan! You're here. Come here at the back!" Igarashi yelled

Mo Fan was a bit dumbfounded before nodding. He headed to the back and saw that there was a wall separating the room he saw earlier with the new... Workplace? It looks like their desks with chairs was moved to the other side of the wall. Of course, the walls there were also colored, with the same lights as the other side.

He then looked at the proud-looking Igarashi and immediately asked questions. "B-Boss, what is going on? I don't remember any renovation team coming here last night..."

Igarashi looked at him with a smile and just simply said: "It's... A secret! But at least now, there's a space where our readers can read our work in peace while we do our job on the other side. Neat, isn't it?"

Mo Fan was speechless for a bit before slowly nodding. "Y-Yeah, I guess..."

Igarashi then laughed and patted his back. "Now, now, look lively! The day is just about to start!"

Igarashi then walked over to their new workspace with the same smile on his face and went to the stairs leading to the 2nd floor.

"Ding~"

Mo Fan was startled by the sudden sound and looked back at the other side of the wall. He then saw Sasori walking in, but the door... Changed! It was no longer a wooden slide door but is now replaced with glass doors with bells on the top to signal someone entering or leaving!

"Wha— but... Since when?!" Mo Fan was starting to get dizzy. He then sat down on the couch nearby and found it comforting. 'This is hurting my head...'

He then stood up and went to his work desk on the other side of the wall. Sasori followed him while walking.

Mo Fan looked at Sasori and asked him with a complicated expression. "Are you confused too, Little Liang?"

Sasori shrugged his shoulders with a plain expression and just said, "I dunno. Maybe?"

He then walked to his desk and waited for Igarashi.

Seeing this, Mo Fan sighed. 'As expected... They already said they're half-siblings... I guess it's a family secret...? I don't know... Haaa..."

He then ignored his thoughts and walked to his desk and also waited for Igarashi.

Soon, Igarashi came down the stairs with the same smile on his face. He stood in front the both of them who were sitting and started speaking. "Now then, team. I would like to introduce to you, our new series."

He then showed them a book with a cover that was rather unique. The cover page was showing a woman with white hair and long ears, and at the back, a man with black hair and weird clothing was shown. And the word 'Re:Zero - Starting Life in another world- was shown.

"Boss... Is this...?"

"Yeah... The book that will give our readers a fresh new experience and... Haha... Emotional damage..." Igarashi said with a sinister smile

"Well then, team. Let us start!"
