27 Ch. 27: Special Quest

Description: In this quest, you are tasked with building a strong relationship with an individual who doesn't recognise you at first. After successfully winning him/her to trust you, your task changes to betraying him/her in a way that affects his/her trust in you. This quest has a time limit of one week. If you fail to betray him/her within the time limit, the quest will fail and you will be punished accordingly.

Reading the quest description, my eyes narrowed, my brows furrowed... this was getting absurd.

This was a special quest, supposedly capable of punishing me if I didn't complete the quest within a week.

Their joyful voices and cheerful laughter created a lively and energetic atmosphere.

Birds chirped merrily in the trees, like singers singing beautiful songs.

She looked at me with a look full of gratitude.

After that, I was thanked a thousand times over.

How outrageous, I was only helping as a human being, wasn't I?

I'm a good person, right?

However, I also felt depressed at being given that much gratitude... what if I failed to save her?

Sighing, I listened to her as she began to tell me the final location and features of her little sister's body in detail.
