Maple leaves are fluttering in the wind just like a flame outside the window, circling the island.

Seeing this scene gives everyone an elusive and ethereal feeling.

Suddenly a gust of wind entangled a red maple leaf, making it pass through the half-opened window. The maple leaf slowly swirled onto a young boy's head.

The boy has a slightly pale skin color with short black hair and black eyes. He was sitting on the tatami inside the room, wearing ordinary black clothes.

He raised his hand, took off the red maple leaf from the head, and threw it outside the window.

Looking at the fluttering maple leaves outside the window, the young man sighed softly.

His name is Adam, or at least that is what it is in this life.

It has been a week since he crossed into this world and somehow adjusted to his situation.

This place is no longer the Earth he is familiar with but a brand new world. And, the place he was transported into was called Teyvat.

Teyvat is a continent consisting of seven countries corresponding to the seven Archons.

The Seven Archons, typically shortened to The Seven, are the seven gods who preside over the seven nations of Teyvat. Each Archon is associated with an element and an ideal. They formed their territories' environment and determined their method of governance over their land.

And, the place where Adam strayed into was an island called Ritou belonging to Inazuma, a nation ruled by the Electro Archon.

Ritou is under the jurisdiction of the Kanjou Commission. The Kanjou Commission is the authority that manages Inazuma's finances, customs, and borders and is one of the three organizations that comprise the Tri-Commission.

"I don't know when I can leave this island." Adam sighed for the second time, thinking about his current situation.

Inazuma has been in a lockdown under the Sakoku Decree, which significantly impacted the territory. Every foreigner is restricted to Ritou and denied entry to the rest of Inazuma.

Adam was also regarded as a foreigner because his looks matched a typical Liyue citizen.

After staying here for a week, Adam gathered some information. He determined that Liyue was probably similar to ancient China. It is said that people from all seven nations of Teyvat flock to Liyue Harbor, the economic hub of the continent.

It would be much better if he was sent to Liyue instead of Inazuma. He can't even leave the island due to the lockdown.

Adam felt helpless thinking about his situation. He crossed over his real body and was almost taken as a stowaway. Fortunately, Kurisu, the person in charge of the International Trade Association, helped him out. He was even nice enough to lend him some money for temporary housing.

Thanks to him, Adam manages to stay in peace for a week in Ritou.

But it's not good enough to continue on like this.

"I heard that the branch manager of Chuyu Trading Company is called Qiuyue. Should I use Mr. Kurisu's relationship to contact her and invite her for a meal?"

"Or, I heard there is also a place called Yae Publishing House in Inazuma, which accepts novel submissions. As an outlander, I have read many novels that people in this world might find interesting."

"Maybe I can try writing? But where to submit the manuscript?"

Adam started thinking about his future.

It didn't take too long for his thinking to be interrupted. There was noise coming from the outside.

Adam's seat was by the side of the window, which gave him the perfect view outside the window. The roads were covered with red maple leaves, making the scene natural and gorgeous.

Walking on the road was a beautiful girl with light-blue hair tied into a single ponytail. She was pretty and elegant like a princess.

"It's the Shirasagi Himegimi!"

As soon as she passed by on the street, surrounding people spotted her immediately and greeted her.

And with that, more people on the street ran out to meet the legendary Shirasagi Himegimi.

"Shirasagi Himegimi is on Ritou again?"

"In my opinion, wouldn't it better if Yashiro Commission was in charge of Ritou? It's better than the current Kanjou Commission. I believe in the miss, Kamisato Ayaka."

"Unfortunately, the Kamisato clan is not in charge of Ritou."

"Is it just me, or miss Kamisato coming to Ritou a bit too often? I heard she rarely came here before."

People started discussing topics surrounding her. The girl named Kamisato Ayaka greeted everyone politely with a gentle smile, healing the heart of the people nearby.
