Win Or Lose

"Grrrrrrr!!!!" Aether growled while trying to push back Makoto's Musou no Hitotachi. Makoto looked like she wasn't even trying.

Makoto smirked and began to push Aether. Aether's eyes slowly widened as his katana was getting closer to his face.

"It's going to cut his face if he doesn't escape now. " Bosacius muttered while gripping his fists tightly.

"Stay calm Bosacius. Aether will find a way out of this. He always does. " Guizhong reassured him. Bosacius kept looking on without replying her.

Makoto who was close to letting Aether's own katana cut open his face sensed something flying towards her.

"Shit. I'm so close." Makoto cursed and jumped away to avoid an object flying in superhuman speeds.

The object spun around and flew towards Aether's left hand. Aether grabbed it and looked at it. It was a black shuriken nade from Aether's Abyssal Energy.

The black shuriken morphed into a ball. Then it morphed into a duplicate of the katana he was holding in his right hand.

"Where did that shuriken come from?" Makoto muttered in confusion. Aether snapped his fingers.

Makoto's eyes widened as four gold fireballs around her. Makoto jumped up high in the air and saw that the fireballs crashed into each other and made a giant explosion.

Aether appeared in front of Makoto and slashed his two katanas in the air. Two black sharp blades shot out of his katanas. It created a X-shape.

Makoto clashed with the black blades with her Musou no Hitotachi. Black lightning crackled violently around them.

Makoto broke the blades easily amd appeared in front of him. Aether narrowed his eyes and his blades caught on fire.

They both swung their blades at each other.

*BAAAAAAAAAAANGG!!!!!!*

Some of the audience flew away. Some were lucky enough to hold on to something. Bosacius looked at the window and saw it slowly cracking.

"Damn." He muttered.

"Just surrender already! Don't force me to kill you." Makoto growled while they were battling for dominance.

"Don't worry, Makoto. I'll get a hit on you before you do any of that." Aether smirked confidently.

Two portals appeared beside Makoto's left and right. Two black hands shot out of the portals. The hands were holding golden spinning beads in their hands.

"Yasaka Beads." Aether muttered and kicked Makoto in the stomach while she was busy looking at the two hands.

Just then, a giant purple hand came out of nowhere and blocked it.

"Gah!" Makoto widened her eyes as she flew back from his kick. Aether looked at her. His golden hair were covering his eyes.

"Sorry, cutie. But I can't let you win." Aether muttered. Makoto was in the middle of where the portals were.

*BOOOOOOOOOOOOMMMMM!!!!!*

A golden explosion occurred. Aether raised his right hand in front of the smoke. The smoke flew towards his hand and slowly molded itself into a grey ball.

He looked up to see Makoto breathing heavily. She had some dirt in her face. Aether gritted his teeth.

"She blocked it." Indarias muttered in shock while looking at them.

"Well this is new." Guizhong muttered.

There were six giant purple arms surrounding Makoto. It seems those purple arms blocked Aether's attack.

"I call bullshit. She hasn't been hit in these tournaments. It's not like his attacks will kill her or anything." Bonanus pointed at Makoto while narrowing her eyes.

"Yeah you have a point there." A new voice sounded in the room. All eye turned and fell on Saiguu. She was accompanied by Chiyo and Sasayuri.

"Makoto-chan is very stubborn. She won't give in to some mortal that easily." Saiguu told them.

"Yeah but is he a mortal though? We literally saw him create portals out of nowhere." Sasayuri questioned her statement.

"That gave me a surprise when I briefly fought him in the forest. " Bosacius added. Indarias looked at him.

"You fought him?" Indarias asked him.

"Yeah but it was nothing serious. I just shot a couple thunderbolts at him and he deflected them back at me with his portals." Bosacius explained to her. Indarias nodded in understanding.

"I hope she gets hit." Chiyo said bluntly.

"Aren't friends supposed to support each other?" Guizhong asked while looking at them with amusement.

"Yes we are. But this tournament really got boring overtime when the 'one hit two wishes ' thing started. She will never let herself get hit. " Sasayuri told them.

"I'm cheering for both of them." Saiguu added.

Back at the arena. Aether was seriously considering giving up on this pointless fight. But he stopped himself for thinking those thoughts.

"I have two wishes in mind that would really help me a lot. She'll let those wishes come true." Aether thought to himself.

"You should really let me hit you." Aether told her.

"Never." Makoto replied to him with a serious aura around her. Aether sighed and snapped his fingers.

"Let's do this, Muninn, Huginn." Aether thought to himself. A second after he snapped his fingers in front of Makoto, six portals, three on each side appeared around Makoto.

"What the—"

Black chains sprouted out of the portal and wrapped around the giant purple arms. Aether looked on with a smirk on his face.

The chains were pulling the six arms. But it was struggling because the arms seemed to not want to be pulled away from Makoto.

Two more portals appeared beside Makoto's feet. Black chains also sprouted from the portals and wrapped around her feet tightly.

Aether smirked. "You like that?" He asked arrogantly. Makoto growled.

"Let me go now!" She shouted angrily while struggling to release herself. Aether snickered.

"It's not going to be that easy, princess." Aether teased. Makoto narrowed her eyes.

" You forgot that I can control these." Makoto told him and concentrated. Her giant arms tried to move but were immediately sliced in half by the black chains.

The six arms crashed onto ground and created several giant craters. Aether looked on in amusement.

"You should really learn when to not be stubborn. It could save your life you know." Aether advised her and snapped his fingers again.

Two more portals appeared, chains shot out from each portal and wrapped around her hands. Steam shot out of the chains.

Makoto gritted her teeth, she was trying not to scream.

"It hurts does it? But I think that doesn't count as a hit, does it you stubborn mule. " Aether glared at her a little.

" Why not just hit me and we can be done with this! " Makoto shouted out desperately. The crowd and the people In the VIP booth watched in shock.

"She's.... Giving up." Saiguu muttered. Chiyo and the others were speechless. They were hearing everything and they couldn't believe it.

"I could. But the thing is...." Aether stopped talking and looked into her eyes.

"I'm not really here..." Aether told her. He snapped his fingers secretly.

Makoto's eyes widened as the Aether in front of her disappeared. The audience gasped as the chains that were holding her were gone in an instant. The craters that were created by the severed giant arms were also gone.

*PSSSSHHHH!!!!!!*

"What the fuck!!!" Bosacius leaped up into the air in shock. He rubbed his eyes again and again.

"Holy shit....." Saiguu muttered while looking on with wide eyes.

"How did he...." Indarias looked at Aether in shock.

"He did it....He won...." Guizhong smiled happily.

Aether who was smirking was behind Makoto who was wide eyed and utterly shocked. She looked down and her eyes widened even more.

A katana was stabbing through her stomach and she had no idea about it.
