Monstadt Pt.13

While walking, Aether decided to train. He created wind and fire rings in both hands. Aether thinks that if he does this. He can use both elements at the same time. Note that it is not combined.

It was quite hard to even contain it for one minute. But Aether was all up for the challenge. He observed what was happening inside of his body and adapted to the changes when he uses both elements at the same time separately. It got easier overtime.

You're wondering why Aether hasn't just teleported to the Temple. Well it's because he doesn't even have a teleport point that is close to the temple so he decided to use the old way.

Thirty minutes have gone by. He can now hold his fire and wing rings for three minutes now. So he kept training in that. Then Aether had another thought.

"What if.... I just make fire and wind rings out of nowhere. Like I can make a ring behind that tree. But I imagine that would be hard. Whatever I'm up for the challenge. " Aether thought and the rings disappeared from his hands.

He concentrated on the spot where he wanted to create the rings. He can direct the fire magic into that spot. When it's enough he'll condense it together to make a fireball, fire spear, fire ring etc.

"Putting magic outside your body is hard. But hey if I can make fire balls from my hands then I can eventually do this. " Aether thought not giving up whatsoever.

When he arrived at the temple, he was able to create a small fireball. Small as in half of his pinky finger. Yeah it's that small.

Another thirty minutes had gone by and Aether arrived at the temple. Once again there was nobody there.

" I swear if she sneak attack's me. " Aether said and Paimon muttered an " Uh oh" before disappearing into Aether's mind.

Steam started to come out of all parts of his body.

*Poof! Fiewwww!*

Aether looked at where the came from and channeled his wind element. "Why do I always face these kinds of situations? And why didei channel my wind element? Do I really want to catch on fire? I'll channel a little bit to my other arm because that's where she won't shoot. " Aether thought. The fire arrow came in contact with him.

*POOF!*

The arrow was nowhere to be found. It has been burned by Aether's and Amber's magic.

" Although the arrow isn't stuck in my arm, it still hurts and I think it pierced me a little bit. Oh Archons I hope I'm not bleeding profusely." Aether thought. Amber jumped in front of him. Eyes blaring with never ending fury.

"Hi Amber. Did you miss me?" Aether covered up his pain and smiled.

"Don't 'Hi Amber' me! You're late! How many times do I have to tell you that a Knight does not be late to anything! " Amber scolded. She held up her bow getting ready to fire one more arrow at him to teach him a lesson. But then she noticed something.

"Why is your hair so messed up huh!? And why are your pants soaked a little! Did Lisa do something to you!? Tell me before I shoot you in the heart!" Amber said getting ready to shoot.

" How the fuck did she notice all that? Whatever I'm tired. I can't deal with this anymore." Aether thought annoyed. Walking for the past hour had made him exhausted and he had to clear that stupid temple as well.

The surroundings turned dark. The teardrop in Aether's bag turned dark red again. Aether's eyes glowed with fiery anger in it.

"And why do you care!? It's none of your business! I'm only doing this for the money! I don't want to hear you shouting at me! " Aether shouted angrily. He was pissed. "Godamn. Every word is just rules, rules and follow the rules. Can't she just forgive me for being late? Fucking hate that side of her. " Aether muttered angrily. Amber heard all of it. Aether went to the gate and opened it. He then teleported into the temple.

Amber just stood there looking at where Aether was standing. She dropped her bow.

"So..... that's what h-he thinks about m-me?" Amber muttered. Her tears were slowly flowing out of her eyes. Words could hurt a lot. And Amber hasn't really been scolded like that before. She has only been reprimanded by her superiors when she was just a recruit and by Jean as an outrider.

"D-did I really anger him that much..... I have to apologize..... if I don't then.... I'll just prove his point...." Amber wiped her tears. Her eye bags were a little red. She quickly teleported into the temple. She arrived and ran. She stopped when she heard Aether shout.

"Stupid! Stupid! Stupid!" Aether roared while punching the hell out of a hilichurl.

"Why. The. Fuck. Would. I. Say. That!" Aether said using his Anemo element. Wind surrounded his right hand. He pulled back his fist.

*Fiew fiew fiew fiew*

" Die " Aether said and pushed foward his fist. The wind shot forward like a bullet and hit the hilichurl straight in the chest. It flew to the wall.

*BAM!*

Aether looked at his hand. He smirked and looked around the room. The hilichurls were surrounding him.

" Rrrarr! " One hilichurl cried and charged towards him.

" That's..... the Anemo Element! But I thought Aether had the Pyro Element? How? " Amber thought surprised at the new power Aether was showing.

The hilichurl got closer until Aether pointed his finger at him. He was doing the finger blaster move.

" Bam. " Wind instantly shot towards the hilichurls head. It left a big hole in it's head.

" A piercing bullet. Looks awesome." Aether was satisfied. When he condenses wind into small things it gets stronger.

Three hilichurls charged at him at the same time. A fire ball appeared in his left hand. Aether condensed it to the same size as the wind ball that was on his right hand.

"Explode into oblivion." Aether said authoritatively and threw his balls. It flew and collided with each other. This caused a reaction and it exploded.

*BOOM!*

Body parts and internal organs were left on the ground after the smoke from the explosion cleared.

"He can use it at the same time. So awesome but so cruel for his enemies." Amber marveled at his control over the elements.

" Oh not you guys. You guys are the reason why I invented this technique." Aether thought and looked at a cryo and electro hilichurl archer. Steam appeared on his body.

The hilichurls shot their arrows from their crossbow.

"Wait isn't electro reactive to pyro?" Aether thought and dodged both of their arrows. Aether put anemo magic to his feet. He pushed it out of his body. He flew forward. The ground cracked a little.

He appeared in front of the electro archer and slammed his palm on it's chest. The hilichurl looked down confused.

"Hrrr?"

*BOOM!*

The hilichurl exploded. Aether's combined elements fault.

"Woaaahhh." Amber looked on at the show.

Aether looked at the cryo archer. And threw something with both of his hands. He then dashed beside the hilichurl and just looked at him.

The hilichurl not wanting to miss an opportunity aimed it's crossbow at Aether.

"Noo!" Amber shouted.

*Shing!*

*Shing!*

The hilichurls arms fell off.

"Rrrrrraaaaahhhh!!" It screamed in pain. Aether caught the fire rings. They disappeared. Then Aether put his hand in front of the hilichurls face.

"Burn in hell." Aether pushed fire magic out of his hands.

*Foooooommm!!*

Fire appeared from his hand and it caught the hilichurl on fire.

"RRAAAAARRRRRrhhhhararrrrrrrr...." The hilichurl screamed in agony. It dropped down seconds later. It's body all but turn into fried hilichurl.

Aether went through the automatic sliding door and saw a stone fire totem. He lit in on fire and wind currents appeared. He jumped and glided upwards. He landed on a platform and ran into a key line.

"Finally." Aether destroyed it. A chest appeared out of nowhere.

Aether opened it. Mora and crystals came out. Another Halberd came out. "Hey I can use this to refine mine." Aether thought. He grabbed all of them and teleported out of the temple. Amber came running in after Aether was already gone.

" Oh he left.... I have to be quick. " Amber ran to the portal and jumped in it.
