22 Chapter 21: Vengeance

(Authors note:

So some people I know message me and ask why MC has no qualms about killing when he came from modern Earth.

The answer is quite simple, in the Cannon Omake chapter, I literally stated Alexander's soul merged with Mahoraga w/o his ego and memories.

Now, even if you remove the ego and memories, Mahoraga will always be Mahoraga.

Alexander will still be Alexander but Mahoraga's very being will definitely influence him.

The more negative feelings he has, the more he would turn into a monster befitting the name Mahoraga.

So will he turn into a new monster that will terrorize Teyvat?

Or will he turn into its savior?

Find out next time on the next episode of Dragon Ball Z. (R.I.P. Toriyama Sensei)

Read the Second Authors note at the end. I won't place it because it would be a spoiler.)

(Alexander POV)

Inside a cave lighted by a dark-red aura, I continued my disgusting feast.

It was the most disgusting feast I ever heard of but even if my mind was telling me no, my body was telling me YES.

Did I already say that this was disgusting? No? Then Durin's heart is disgusting. Scratch that, I think calling Durin's heart disgusting is a big understatement. Like damn, GOD DAMN.

'It feels like I'm eating overcooked rotten meat seasoned with smelly socks unwashed and used for a year covered with a broth made out of rusty metals and piss.' I said to myself as my mouth and body hurriedly devoured the big lump of flesh as if it were the best-tasting food I ever had.

Maybe, because of my disgust, I wasn't able to feel the negative energy slowly seeping into my body with every swallow of this mushy disgusting meat.

'This heart is massive, probably about 10 feet in height and 7 feet in width.' I said to myself trying hard to find a distraction to avoid tasting this god damned beating piece of meat.

As I ate about 10% of the disgusting beating ball of flesh, I started feeling pain throughout my body.

Time passed by and after eating about half of the heart, my mind started clouding as I felt like my blood was boiling as my muscles continued to spasm but never had my body stopped eating.

My very being longed for the mass of flesh or maybe it wanted the energy contained inside it that even while I tried my best to pry away and stop eating, my very being refused and continued to dig in and continued to devour and assimilate whatever energy was stored inside the heart.

My body started bleeding all over as my muscles expanded before exploding only to regenerate and continue the cycle once again in an unending fashion.

My Low – Pain Immunity, started losing its effect as I felt my blood boiling as my whole body destroyed and fixed itself at an unimaginable rate.

With 10% left of the massive flesh, my mind was chaotic and all I could think about was destruction.

I wanted to spread destruction, ah the beauty of ruin.

I want to kill everything and harvest their energy, I must have it all.

I want to devour everything, I want to assimilate it all.

I want blood, I want to bathe in a river of blood.

With such chaotic thoughts, my mind was slowly slipping away.

The last thing I saw was a group of Fatui mobs at the entrance of the cave.

(Third Person POV)

*ROARRRRRRRRRRRR*

A roar filled with rage and malevolent emotions erupted as it traveled throughout the entire region of Dragonspine.

From the weakest monsters called Hilichurl to the strongest sentient races hiding and residing inside the frosty region they felt the same, dread.

All living beings inside the region started shaking in fear.

The intelligent ones already dropped everything unimportant as they ran in order to escape whatever the being that caused that region-wide roar.

-------------------------

On top of one of the mountains, a beautiful woman shivered from the malevolent roar.

The woman had short cyan hair stopping before reaching her shoulders. She is quite tall with a cold and unapproachable facial expression. Her outfit was sexy yet elegant which fits her perfectly. With a blue cape on her right shoulder, a backless leotard on top, a pair of black gloves, blue stockings, and thigh-high boots. With a Cryo Vision pinned on the front of her cape.

She took her blue-colored claymore with a few golden motifs as she dashed toward a cave filled with alchemy materials.

Inside the cave was a young man with ashy-light blonde hair. He was wearing an outfit designed for practicality for experiments, a standard uniform worn by the knight of Favonius alchemists.

The young man saw his colleague and asked, "Are you going towards where the roar was coming from, Eula?"

Without hesitation, the woman named Eula answered, "Of course, Albedo! It is my job as the Captain of the Reconnaissance Company of the Knights to face such atrocity. All towards the path of my vengeance!"

Albedo then replied, "Just be aware that whatever that is, I am sensing something dangerous and familiar from it. Don't let your guard down."

Eula only nodded at him with a straight face before rushing towards the location of the sound.

Albedo then called toward his colleagues, "Sucrose, Timaeus, we should leave immediately. Leave all the unimportant stuff and let's make haste towards the camp outside of Dragonspine."

The two shaking alchemists could only nod as their primal instincts were screaming with fear.

-------------------------

Inside the cave where the heart was supposed to be, a white humanoid figure was standing on a puddle of blood as about a hundred Fatui agent corpses were scattered around ripped apart with guts spilling out.

The humanoid figure was laughing clearly enjoying his life as he repeatedly stepped on the body parts scattered all around.

The humanoid figure was standing at a height of 20 feet, it was packed with muscles screaming power with every fiber, and it was emitting a black and murky aura radiating malevolence that felt like it came out from the abyss different from its pure white body without a bit of stain.

A crazed wide smile could be seen on its face as a wooden eight-handed wheel could be seen on its back slowly turning around.

The eight-handed wheel had nine orbs, one on each side with the ninth in the middle.

If one looks closely three orbs were different from the others.

One of the orbs was radiating an emerald color emitting Anemo element.

The second orb was radiating a murky black chaotic aura emitting the Abyssal element.

The orb in the middle was different. The middle orb contains an image. In the image, it would be seen that Alexander is slightly squatting with two hands in front as his palms face each other with the humanoid figure standing behind him.

(Second Authors note:

So, should I kill Eula or not? :D

Vote to kill or in this paragraph comment

if no one votes I would simple do a coin flip to decide Eula's fate)
