Prologue

Misaki Tachibana was looking at the horror in front of her. She couldn't move a single limb of her body. She stares at fire extinguishers running and shouting to calm the blazing fire rising from the manor in front of her.

This was her house that she took her baby steps and spent her whole childhood until today. Tears were streaming out of her eyes as she remembers the sweet memories with her parents that she spent in this manner. They were a happy family of three for the past 10 years. a

Her parent's bodies were taken out of the manor by the fire extinguishers as they were taken out of the manor, Misaki runs towards them

Her parent's bodies were heavily burnt that she couldn't even recognise them even though she spent her last ten years with them. She falls into her knees in front on them as burning tears slowly drops on the burnt bodies.

Today she told her parents to stay home because she wanted to go to the newly opened video game centre with her parents to show other kids how awesome her parents were. How childish of her if she didn't ask them to stay, they would have gone there work place and be safe by now.

When she thinks about that she couldn't stop hating herself. She hates herself for being so childish. if not for her selfish dream her parents still are at the company alive and the dead bodies in front won't even exist.

As she thought about it, she embraced the burnt bodies of her parents " Mom, Dad I promised to be good, I won't do anything bad PLEASE COME BACK MOM, DAD PLEASE DON'T LEAVE ME ALONE " Misaki's gut-wrenching sobs broke the onlooker's hearts into pieces. They couldn't help but feel sorry about this child's state. From today onwards this child will be alone this huge world without a single parent to look after her.

Her uncle came forward and try to separate her from the dead bodies of her parents " NO PLEASE DON'T, let me be with my mommy and daddy please....." as she said that her voice became meek and hugged her parent's bodies more tightly

Seeing the child in front of him hugging his brother and his sister-in-law he promised himself to look after this child as his own. Then he knelt beside the child and slowly remove her hands around the dead bodies and hugged her in his embrace.

In her uncle's embrace, she couldn't control emotions as the grief poured out with an uncontrollable amount of guilt. She knew this is the last that she could see her parents while the unstoppable amount of tears flowed through her eyes

If she knew today's was her last day with her parents she would have stayed home without going to school. Then she would have burnt along with her parents. Dying with her parents were a thousand times better than watching they are dead bodies while thinking about the beautiful memories they spent together.

Why did she tell them to stay home EXACTLY today? Why didn't she asked her parents yesterday or maybe tomorrow? She couldn't stop thinking about these rushing thoughts coming to her mind. There was a pain in her heart that she thought couldn't vanish even after her death.

Then she heard the ambulance had already arrived to take away her parent's bodies so she released herself from her uncles embrace to look at her parents one last time. But they were already being carried towards the ambulance.

Seeing her parent's bodies being carried away. She quickly stood up to catch up with them but she falls because her legs go numb after kneeling for a long time. As she was expecting to fall, a hand came and carried her towards the ambulance.

Being carried to the ambulance in her uncle's arms, she slowly gets down from those arms and went near her parents burned bodies and kissed them both on their forehead, "Mom, Dad I will make you proud, please look after me from heaven" said Misaki softly so only three of them could hear while her salty tears fall downs on the dead bodies.

Then she slowly moves away from the dead bodies so that they could push them inside the ambulance. She stares at the ambulance which is moving away along with her parent's dead bodies. Seeing her precious parents who were always near her since birth going to a place unknown to her made Misaki's heart burnt in agony.
