21 21. Uncle Aaron (2)

Returning to Duke Colen's territory. The territory was massive in size and one could see from a distance the main mansion of the duke's house which was white in color looked grand and mighty. The owner of this mansion Duke Valeria di Colen is the mighty sword saint of Solar kingdom. His power and fame is known to everyone inside and outside of the kingdom. The Duke is well known for his upright personality and strictness among all the other nobles.

Inside the duke's office room,

"What my daughter came back? Was she hurt or Injured? Where is she?"

A middle aged man in his mid-thirties hurriedly stand up after hearing the report of his daughter's arrival from a soldier. He hurriedly went outside of his office to look for his daughter and suddenly met with his close subordinate Aaron coming towards his office with a serious face.

"My lord I have a report to ma- "

Before he wanted to finish his sentence he was cut off by Duke Valeria's question.

"Where is my daughter?"

Seeing the flustered expression of Duke, Aaron hurriedly said,

"The young lady was exhausted so she said me she will rest in her sleeping chamber"

Duke Valeria's eyes widened she then hurriedly asked,

"Is she okay? Is she seriously injured? Shit.. I should have been more careful that girl.. she doesn't listen to me and always does whatever she wants"

While Duke Valeria was frustrated and lamenting nonstop about his daughter, the old man Aaron was flustered at his lord's behavior he thought Duke Valeria must have misunderstood about his daughter getting into serious injury so he hurriedly replied.

"Your wrong my lord.. young lady is not seriously injured or anything is serious. You don't have to worry. She just wanted to rest that's all"

"Oh really she is not injured?.. Thank god.. Let me see her"

"My lord I believe she is too tired to talk to you now and even more there is an urgent report to make."

Looking at Aaron's serious expression, Duke Valeria couldn't say no and even more if his daughter is exhausted then it will not be appropriate to meet her when she is tired from her journey. So he replied with a sigh,

"Ok let's go inside my office and talk"

Then both of them entered the duke's office.
