1 'Struggling'

"Run, Run...Towards our car" A man who is in his forties hurried his wife, son, and daughter to run towards their car, as soon as they came out of their house.

Two men who looked like they are dead and full of bite marks on their bodies struggling to catch up to that man's family members. It looks like they are trying to feast on them.

"Their reaction is slow! Avoid them and run..." Those two strange things are moving very slowly, but they are moving towards them from the lawn where their car is parked.

He knew that their family members are frightened by this incident that happened out of nowhere. They are walking so rigidly, as his wife and daughter cling on to each other like glue. While his son even though not as frightened as his wife and daughter, he wasn't much help in this situation.

Seeing that they aren't moving quickly that man knows this situation will turn for the worst. He made his determination and tightened the grip on the long iron bar that he used to hold curtains on his house.

He looked at the two strange things which looked exactly like zombies in the films he used to watch. He quickly moved towards the two zombies that are moving towards them and used his long iron bar to push them back.

Surprisingly, these are too strong and only stepped back a single step. He quickly understands that these zombies are too different from those weak and fragile zombies he saw from movies. He knew that the situation is turning for bad, he looked at his family members and shouted at them with all his strength.

"Move move move.....Why are you acting like wooden dolls! Do you want to die?"

After hearing that loud yell from that man, his family members who are moving rigidly started to recover from their dazedness and moved a bit faster. That man used all of his strength to hold back those two zombies until their family members reach their car.

Seeing his family members make it to the car, he was relieved and a huge burden was taken off from his shoulders. He looked at the two zombies and remembered that these zombies can die if he pierced them through their heads.

As soon as he thought that, he shook his head. He doesn't have much time to experiment on those thoughts, he used his iron bar to push one zombie back with all his strength. While the other zombie took this chance to lunge forward him with all its might, That man was surprised by the increase of speed from the second zombie.

Still, the speed of that zombie is slow enough for him to react. He took 4 steps back quickly and used the iron bar which he used to push back the first zombie to run it through the second zombie's body. But it didn't push back as he expected, instead, it runs through second zombie's ruined abdomen which has a hole in it.

That zombie directly moved towards that man through the iron bar and plunged on that man. He used both of his hands to push back the zombie and tried to move back with that impact. But to his horror, a hand was already placed on his shoulder from the first zombie and hold him tightly.

he knew he was done for and looked at his family members, who looks like devastated by this incident. His wife tried to run towards him with all her might but was tightly hold back by his son, who looks like he was regretted by his weak personality. He knew his father was done for and looked at his father with a determined look on his face, seeing the look on his son that man finally stopped his struggle which he tried to stop the zombies to bite his neck.

"Keep them safe!! I am handing them to you from now on. Be strong and struggle to survive no matter what. I love you all" After saying that he looked at his son, wife, and daughter with loving eyes, before using all his strength to shook those zombies away. He used his iron bar to run it directly through his heart thoroughly killing himself, as he doesn't want to turn into those disgusting things.

His wife and daughter wailed, as he dies. His son looked at his father and a lot of regrets flashed through his eyes and said,

"I will." As he said those two words, a line of crystal clear tears fell from his eyes. He soon cleared his eyes and forced his sister and mother to sit in the car. As he sat on the driver seat, he looked at his father's body one final time before driving away.

That man who was getting feasted by those two zombies, looked at the car moving away with a lot of regrets and also a lot of thoughts flashed through his mind. He finally looked at the crystal clear sky which was a very bright day with warm sun rays fell on his face.

A crystal clear tears that were glistering with sunrays fell from his eyes. He was thinking about how they will survive without him before his consciousness started to fade away.
