"This small house." Rock said, looking around, "At least I can move around." He went to the couch and seat on the mat. "This soft.."

"Do you know what's their next step?" Rex asked, as he is checking his system.

"I overheard some plans. Like testing more of the drug they make." Rock said, laying down.

Rax was looking through documents in his system, as he noticed a gaze. He turn and saw Rex, his eyes pointing at the counter. Rax moved towards the counter and felt like he is in a different world.

He is getting used to Rex digital room, since his system also lost online connection.

"I don't trust Rock." Rex said, "So except a betrayal anytime. He may feed us false info."

Rax nodded, "So, what's your plan?"

"It's time to gamble."

"Gamble?'"

"Burn the house and rebuild something better, let's use this as a chance. To level up from none to 1."

"Jump in the traps?"

"Yes. We already tasted how the mini boss fight is. Time to prepare for the real boss fight."

"The thing they made, it's gonna make us lose control of our abilities."

"Look at Rey, she is still able to control her abilities, but better. So, this is the biggest gamble I will made with my life. I will trust that, as long as we have a clear goal like Rock, even with losing our sanity. We can achieve our goal."

"Assuming we lost our sanity."

"I doubt you will lose your sanity that easily." Rex chuckled, as he released Rax from his digital world.

Rax realised the time didn't change from when he entered the digital world. 'So it freezes time?' He went to the fridge and took out a can drink.

"Rock, you want a drink?" Rax asked, not taking his eyes off the fridge.

"No thanks. Water is more healthy." He heard.

"Eh, alright." He shrugged his shoulder, and closed the fridge.

Opening the can of coffee, he saw Rex going to his room.

Rex seat on his chair, as he put himself in his digital room.

Closing his eyes, "A pity, I can't trust you to be the Knight."

Rock and Rey is under control of the enemy, while Rax is part of the enemy.

He knows, since Rey doesn't remember the memories that make her, her. Rock won't submit so easily just because of his power, if there's stronger people than him as he said. Rax, he never trusted him from the start.

He had researched Rax before, but none of the things Rax shared adds up. So he can only assume Rax is part of the enemy, considering he want to keep Rey in his shadow.

Rex slowly open his eyes, "Time to gather my pieces, this game is about to reach its climax."

Rax made eye contact with Rock, as Rock lowered his head.

"Boss, did I act well?"

"It doesn't matter, he will be suspicious no matter how well you acted." Rax shrugged.

In a prison, someone is was laying on his bed when he noticed something at the corner of his eyes.

'A notification? In here?' He have not use his system in years, yet now here it is.

[ Jailbreak time. Get ready in a min ]

'Eh?' He slowly seat up, looking out the cell.

When the light switched off, he noticed someone else in the room.

"It's easier than I thought. Getting in here."

The prisoner eyes widened, 'That voice.'

"Miss me? Partner. Our dear leader is moving his chess pieces."

"Heh. My vacation is over." He chuckled, as he felt his genes no longer restricted. "Let's go."

"My head better not be in the wall." He grumbled, "You haven't use your gene ability in so long."

"Shut up." He touch his shoulder, as a dark green fog covered them. And they are gone.

They appeared in a different space, a blue digital space.

"You put the chips in?" The man asked the prisoner.

"All the ones who are spies." He nodded.

"Blow them up." Rex voice is heard, "Let the enemy fear our knowledge." He smirked, as the man hands shone red.

"Boom." The man said, he's pupils turned red, he clutched his hand into a fist, as his eyes turned back to black colour.

"Both of you, find the rest. They are in locations I can't contact." The two nodded, as they disappeared into the dark green fog.

"Heh, you really overestimate yourself. You think a month of knowing each other, I can trust you?" He chuckled by himself, "Only friends I know my whole life, that stuck by me. I will entrust them with my life."

He step out of his digital room, and head to the living room where he saw Rock laying down.

His digital room, is more than a no tech zone. It's his own world, where he spend his life mastering this aspect of his genes.

He's trump card.

Using it as a trick to say, he can only use it to cancel out tech.

'Overestimate yourself, continue doing that. It's your downfall. Faszor.' Rex thought, as he turn to look at Rax.
