1 Gender Stereotyping leads to oppression of females

Gender stereotyping causes Oppression of females.The main cause is Male Dominance and Primitive societal ideologies.Since previous times,Men have been ruling in every fields.This is so because the Society has developed a mindset of Male Superiority.Due to this attitude of society,they consider themselves as Dominant(ruling) gender while framed the image of women as the suppressed ones.Females were never allowed to stand for themself or be self independent in earlier times.This mindset is also prevailing in today's world.Another reason for Repression of females is the primitive thinking of family which is derived from the ancestry. Many social dogmas have been forcefully imposed on females.Neither they were given proper freedom of speech nor freedom to choose.Societal norms and Primitive beliefs have become a hindrance in Women's freedom.Vast majority of girls are still now striving hard for their dreams and basic rights. Patriarchal norm is also responsible for it.People often doesn't provides girls,their basic rights just because they are not able to run patriarchal ancestry.Also this Mindset has given rise to Female Infanticide which is done just for the desire of boy child. Many Societal practices were performed since ages like Child Marriage,Sati System,Dev dasi system etc, which make the women deprived of their basic rights.All these facts makes us believe that how Gender Stereotyping leads to oppression of females.
