Fifteenth

Both remained silent after the clue appeared on Tamitha's bathroom mirror. One was getting stirred up with what they just discovered; while the other one was oblivious of what's going on right now.

"This is one hell of a ride… Are you sure you're ready to be part of this?" Pollux asked.

Tamitha took a step back. Cannot seem to wrap everything around her head. The lad creased his forehead when he got to glimpse at Tamitha's direction. The lady's eyes filled with all sorts of emotions: fear, confusion, frustration.

Tamitha stared back at Pollux with tears forming into her eyes. "What the hell is happening?" She sounded tired because of her tone. She tightly closed her eyes while trying her best to keep her composure to process everything. Pollux then can't help but worry about the lass. He walked towards the lass and tried to hold her but before he could even caress the lady's arms; she swiftly shifted position and open the bathroom door to go out.

Tamitha's being overwhelmed with all the emotions she's feeling. She's now breathing heavily, making her grasp her chest. She also started crying frantically, making Pollux panic and followed Tamitha. He ran towards Tamitha's direction and gently grab her shoulder and tried facing her to him.

"Hey, calm down. Look at me Anika… Focus on my voice and breathe with me, all right? Inhale… Exhale…" Pollux tried his best to stay calm and help the lass out.

Pollux guided Tamitha and sat her up in her bed while still doing their breathing exercises. Pollux held unto Tamitha's hand gently to assure her she's not alone while still talking her out of her attacks.

"You got this, love. Take deep breaths… Yes, that's right." The young whispered. He kissed her forehead before his forehead came in contact with it. Tamitha held her breath because of Pollux's sudden movement, but then she felt safe with Pollux's warmth. "I'm here, okay? You got this."

Minutes had passed, Tamitha finally recovered from her panic attack. She finally calmed down. She let go of a deep sigh before removing herself from Pollux's embrace.

She suddenly felt what's happening right now all wrong. She should have not trusted this guy in the first place. She thought to herself.

She stood up her bed and walked back and forth making Pollux confuse. He stood up too and tried reaching for Tamitha's arm. "Hey what's wrong?" He asked softly as soon as he could hold her. Tamitha removed his grip and said, "Please get out of my room." She coldly stated.

He let out a soft chuckle, not believing what she stated. "W-What?" Tamitha stepped back and face her window. "Please, go." She begged once more.

She heard him sighed before the sound of the door closing as a sign that he finally left the room. She didn't bother looking back; she just stared at the moon peeking in her bedroom window. She sighed, hoping she did the right thing.

Whatever phenomenon she is experiencing right now; it was all too much for her. She just can't keep digging deeper without even knowing what she's digging in the first place. And she realized she can't just trust a person she just met, even if he's all too familiar to her.

That's not a valid reason to trust Pollux, plus he hasn't even explained anything about him to her. Tamitha thought to herself.

She suddenly felt tired, since that was the very first time she got to experience a panic attack. Never once in her life, she felt something like that. Not being able to breathe properly and how her entire body was excessively trembling. It's too foreign to her. It just precipitated. Her mind was clouded with so many thoughts and she got overwhelmed with what she's feeling. She's kind of thankful that Pollux helped her get passed it.

Remembering what Pollux did suddenly made Tamitha regret her decision. She ruffled her hair out of frustration and jump back to her bed and tried getting some sleep, ignoring all the thoughts running through her mind.

Morning came, she got up all charged up for today as if nothing controversial happened yesterday. She kind of felt motivated to do some research for her invention this year. She shook off negative thoughts and focused on the things she needs to accomplish for today.

She got up and jogged before going to her lab to test some prototypes. She tied her hair up and wore a sports bra and covered it up with their college hoodie, then partnered it up with a legging and a Nike shoes and she's good to go. She grabbed her air pods and phone before heading outside.

She didn't bother telling Pearl because she knows fully that the lass was still sleeping soundly in her room since it's just around 5:00 AM. As soon as she went out of their dorm, she started jogging. She jogged around the track and field area of their university.

She's peacefully running, enjoying the scenery and fresh air touching her face making her feel more excited. She feels a lot better after everything that's happening with her life.

The sun was just about to rise; Tamitha did some exercises when she stopped near the bleacher's side of the field. She's doing squats when something or rather someone caught her attention.

Even if she's wearing her air pods, she could still hear the loud shout coming from the middle part of the field. And there she saw Pollux doing intense training of some sort. Tamitha can't help but stop what she's doing and tried looking closely at the lad without being obvious. He got his gloves on while doing some punches along with his sparring partner. All his jabs and punches were powerful and on point, making Tamitha feel sorry for Pollux's sparring partner.

Tamitha then realized what she's doing, making her snapped out from her secret admiration to the lad. She shook her head and walked back to her place and started doing more squats. "Snap out of it, Tamitha."

Hours had passed, and now she's done with her last period for today. She's planning to continue her research for her prototype left in her lab when Pearl stopped. "Hey, are you done for today?"

"Yeah, why?" Tamitha answered with all smiles on her face but as soon as Pearl grabbed her away her eyebrows immediately furrowed. "Hey, where are we going?"

"To the gym, duh!" Pearl said as if stating the obvious. "Huh? What for?" Pearl suddenly stopped pulling Tamitha and gave her a weird look. "You don't know?"

"What?"

"Its Pollux's match today! Didn't he tell you? I thought he went to our dorm yesterday to invite you. Well, that's what I heard from Castor." Pearl announced making Tamitha looked away remembering what happened to them yesterday.

"Tamitha? Did something happen?" She squinted her eyes, trying to observe Tamitha's action. "I don't want to talk about it. I'm going to my lab." The lass tried walking away from her best friend, but it was no used since Pearl was still holding her hand at the moment. She ended up being pulled by her friend once again.

She sighed in defeat and just willingly come with her best friend to watch Pollux's boxing match. 'So that's why he's practicing in the field early in the morning. And it's probably the reason he went yesterday.' She whispered to herself.

They finally arrived at the stadium, and it was jam-packed. Everyone seems excited to watch the match. There would be at least 10 matches bound to happen today. The whole stadium's filled with decoration plus the entire crowd have it's props prepared for the match. Pearl's guiding their way, looking for Castor since he was the first one to arrive in the stadium to help his brother out. Tamitha on the other hand was looking around the stadium not believing what she's seeing. It's as if their entire stadium transformed into a new place.

She's not aware of this program even if she's the student government president because she does not handle this type of program, all of the sports program were up to the sports committee.

Moments later, they could spot Castor waving his hand on the second-row bleachers near the boxing ring. "What took so long?" He asked the moment the ladies arrived at his place.

"Well, Pollux didn't tell her about this." Castor looked at Tamitha's direction, but the lass gave him a small smile and looked away. Castor just nodded as if he knows what's up.

The game has officially started; match after match has passed by and Tamitha doesn't feel good watching people being brutal with each other. But others seem to enjoy it. The whole stadium's lively, cheering for their preferred boxer. She kept playing with her fingers, getting nervous for Pollux. She doesn't want to see him hurt, so she's not sure anymore if she should watch him.

She looked down on her sweaty hand, still playing with it to ease her nervousness when suddenly someone stopped her. She immediately looked at that person. It surprised her to see that it's Castor who held her hand to stop her from what she's doing.

"If you're not comfortable, we can go." Castor gave her a soft smile, making her ease up a bit. She swallowed the big lump in her throat before answering, "I'm fine." She tried to give him an assuring smile but the lad's not buying it, but he just nodded and withdrawn his hand.

They continued watching when it was finally Pollux's turn; the entire crowd started chanting his name. Shocking Tamitha and Pearl being all new to this, they didn't know that Pollux was that popular.

Not being aware, Tamitha's been staring intently at Pollux but as soon as their eyes met, Tamitha panicked and immediately looked away but seconds later she looked at his direction once again, and there he was still looking at Tamitha intensely making her feel uncomfortable.

The bell rang as a sign that the match's about to start everyone's looking forward to this game the most given that the crowd was very active shouting and making all sorts of noises.

Tamitha's more nervous than she was before when she looked at Pollux's opponent. He looked so fired up. The stare his giving to Pollux was full of rage. But when she looked back at Pollux, the lad has his dark aura which Tamitha haven't seen before.

The opponent threw few punches, and Pollux smoothly avoided it. He was jogging into his place waiting for the right timing to strike but before he could even attack, an unexpected jab met his face.

Tamitha gasped, and she's almost close to crying. She doesn't want what she's seeing. 'Please, please, Pollux do your best.' She whispered. The lad seems distracted. He recovered from the punch and now he's all fired up too. He was so quick not giving the opponent a chance to avoid his combination of power punches.

She felt relieved to see that he's doing good, but she doesn't want to watch it anymore. She can't bear to see Pollux getting hurt; as cheesy it may sound, but she's hurting too. So, she left the stadium and got some fresh air.

"Hey, where are you going?" Pearl stopped her. "Restroom." She lied because she's aware that her best friend won't let her go. "Do you want me to come with you?" Tamitha just smiled at her and shook her head. "No need. Thank you!"

She once again glimpsed at Pollux before walking out of the stadium. She exhaled and breathed some fresh air in the field.

"Please win the game, Pollux." She whispered to herself.
