1 THE NEW KID

A young man wearing a red headband named Lee Han meditates on the floor early in the morning. He takes a deep breath, opens his eyes, and smiles at a picture of the old man that took him in and taught him everything he knows. Lee then starts his workout, two hundred pushups, one hundred sit-ups, and one hundred and fifty pull-ups, and practices strikes on a wing chun.

After showering, he puts on his black and red hoodie, black pants, and black and red Jordan's, puts in his headphones and leaves for school. Soon he walks into a convenient store. When the cashier/ owner sees him he smiles and waves.

"Hey Lee, it's good to see ya."

Lee smiles back at the owner.

"Hey Mr. Chen. I'm just stopping by to get something drink."

"Sure go ahead, help yourself. I want you to be ready for your first day of school afterall."

Lee smiles and nods, walking over to the drinks while listening to his music. At that moment, three armed men comes into the store, wearing ski masks.

"Everybody get on the ground, now!" A man says, letting off a shot into the air.

Everyone quickly falls to the ground, except for Lee who's still looking for a drink, bobbing his head to his music, confusing everyone, including the three muggers.

"Hey kid, get on the ground now!" One of the muggers demand, but Lee continues to ignore him.

"What the hells the matter with this kid?" The second mugger asks.

Two of the muggers approaches behind him, tapping him on the back with their guns. Lee takes off his headphones, turns around and sees what's going on.

"Oh hey. What's going on?" Lee asks.

The muggers look at each other with confusion.

"What do you think, dumbass, this is a robbery! Now get on the ground, now!"

Lee pauses for a minute then smiles.

"Nah, I don't think I will." He says, shocking everyone.

"Are you blind? We have guns."

"So? I don't want to get on the ground."

After a brief pause, one of the muggers start laughing.

"Looks like we got a tough guy, huh? Do you really think you can take us on?"

Lee smirks.

"No offense, but that's not the question you should be asking."

"Yeah? What is the question then?"

At that moment, Lee easily disarms the muggers and knocking them both out with a forearm to the face and a punch to the gut. Everyone, including the now alone mugger, is shocked by how much speed and power this young man has. Lee expression changes to an intense stare, scaring the last mugger standing.

"The question is- do you really want to find out?"

Lee then starts to walk towards the mugger. The mugger starts to tremble as he gets closer, quickly aiming his shotgun at Lee's chest.

"S-Stay back! I'm warning you!"

At that moment, Lee dashes faster than anyone can see, appearing right infront of the mugger. Before the criminal can pull the trigger, he gets hit with a powerful punch to the gut, knocking him out of a window. Everyone slowly gets to their feet and clap for the young man, as he smiles and rubs the back of his head.

"Your teacher would be proud of your progress." Mr. Chen says with a smile.

Lee smiles back at him and puts the money on the counter for the apple juice he picked up.

"Thanks for saying that. I'll see you around, Mr. Chen."

Lee then leaves, continuing his walk to his new school.

Meanwhile, in a classroom, three students( one girl with white hair named Kira Takeda, Another girl with black hair and a blue strip in it named Mei Wu , and a nerdy kid with glasses named Jin Yu) all sit together in class.

"Hey, I heard we're getting a new student today." Mei says.

At that moment, a popular student named Gisu kim throws a paper ball at Jin's head, laughing with his friends.

"Hopefully whoever it is, isn't a total dick like Gisu Kim." Kira says.

"Yeah, you said it." Jin replies.

At that moment, Lee walks into the classroom. As he stands infront of the class and smiles, a lot of his female classmates swoon at the sight of his face, thinking that he's good-looking, while some of the male students are jealous.

"Everyone, this is Lee Han."

"Hi, it's nice to meet you all."

"Wow, he's cute." A female student says with a sparkle in her eyes.

Gisu Kim scoffs at the sight of Lee.

"This guys nothing special. And what the hells up with that stupid headband." He says to himself.

"He seems pretty nice." Mei says.

Jin agrees as Kira stares at Lee.

"Mr. Han, why don't you take your seat in the back next to Seokju Sin."

Lee looks at the back and sees Seokju who is snoring. Lee chuckles then starts to walk to the back of the class. As he walks, he makes eye contact with Kira and smiles at her, causing her to blush and look away. Lee makes it to his seat, while Seokju wakes up and looks over at Lee.

"Hey, I don't remember seeing you around here. Who are you supposed to be?"

Lee chuckles, rubbing the back of his head.

"I guess you were asleep when I came in. I'm Lee Han."

Seokju looks on at Lee for a moment then smirks.

"I can tell just by looking at ya. You're pretty strong."

Lee smirks back at him.

"Funny. I was gonna say the same to you."

The two young men stare at each other for a moment, both of them thinking about a fight with the other. Seokju then offers his fist to Lee.

"Lee Han, huh? The names Seokju Sin, nice to meet ya."

Lee smiles and bumps his fist.

"Likewise." He says.
