There was silence for a few seconds before unexpectedly Wen Qi burst out laughing for no reason.

Shifting his eyes, Chu Shenshu saw Wen Qi's reaction which seemed to underestimate his words. Chu Shenshu's face suddenly turned grimy, seemed that there was anger about to explode. He clenched his jaw, asking in a cold, deep tone, "I mean it. Do you think I'm joking?"

On the other side, when Wen Qi laughed didn't mean he felt funny about Chu Shenshu's words, just that he hated seeing that man talk confidently to intimidate others. However, since he couldn't say 'I'm sick of your words' directly to the man's face, he couldn't help but laugh.

When his laughter gradually ended, Wen Qi wiped the rips in his eyes, then said confidently, "Have you forgotten that you are the mastermind behind all my deeds? If you say anything to them, then they'll know we're allies. You know how it affects you, don't you? It won't only affect you but your family as well."
