2 Chapter 1: Trapped in the strange place and a fleeing mage

Tap', 'Tap', Footsteps echoed down the place where it seems to be an endless void. He began to hear whispers he can't understand. "Where am I", he wondered. As he was walking, the ground shattered like a fragile piece of glass, he was startled when he saw the shattered ground. Suddenly, the ground began to collapse. He realized that he had to run when the ground near him began to collapse, but it was too late, everything collapsed around him except for the tiny bit of ground, he quickly hanged on the last bit of ground before he fell to the seemingly endless void. "I'll be done for if this ground also collapses", he mumbled. "Correct!", he heard a voice while hanging at a tiny cliff. He looked at the direction of the sound. There, he saw someone floating who seemed to be wearing a jester's clothes. It had the face of empty black eyes with a grin.

"Who are you and why am I here", he shouted to the mysterious figure. "It wouldn't be too late to introduce myself", the figure said with a wicked voice, "I am Termino, a soul taker!", it introduced itself to him.``Well, that's great, but I also believe I asked where I am", he replied. "Well I can't tell you but I could put you out of your misery", Termino told him as it began to reach for something that looked like a stick in his pocket, he took the stick and waved it. Suddenly the stick began to lengthen and a bright-looking blade appeared at the end of the stick. "Well now, what're your last words'', Termino said to him while holding its 'scythe'. "Wait! This has to be some kind of mistake, I don't wanna get killed this early", he pleaded to Termino. Termino looked at its paper for a while and replied, "Oh no, it appears that I have made a mistake. You can go now, buddy".

"Wait, how do I go back-", before he could end his reply, he woke up. He mumbled, "That was just a dream?!". He looked around and he saw a lantern, he began to have a feeling that the lantern is abnormal. As he tried to look closer to the lantern, he pulled back a chain that was located on the chair where it's bolted to a wall that was shackled on his left hand. "What the!", He shouted with confusion. He tried to pull the chain but to no avail. He sat on the chair full of despair and confusion. Suddenly, he felt the lantern was speaking to him. "The light crystal…", the lantern whispered. "Maybe I'm just going insane", he mumbled.

Meanwhile, in the forest, a guy who seems to be wearing a cloak was running. Behind the trees and bushes, there seems to be something menacing was stalking the cloaked guy. Suddenly, a cloaked guy stopped on his track, "why can't you guys stop trying to follow me and kill me", the cloaked guy mumbled. A masked man warped behind him, the man's mask was similar to Termino's face, 'empty black eyes with a grin'. "Return the lantern", the man spoke with a furious tone. "No, I can't! That's mine", the cloaked guy replied. A milkfly;(an insect with a colorful set of wings that are morphed from larva form), flies behind the masked man. Suddenly, a milkfly and the trees near the man distorted. The cloaked guy stood still as the man warps behind him, using his (what seems to be needles between his fingers) and swiped the cloaked guy. But, the cloaked guy slowly turned into smoke and the masked man heard a voice.

"Perhaps, you might hear about those abilities called 'Tekerin'!This is my 'Tekerin', the ability to create silhouettes, 'The Fool Silhouettes'!", the hooded guy shouted. The masked man looked at him. "Ah, I apologize for my rudeness, I haven't even properly introduced myself", the cloaked guy said to the masked man while putting off his cloak. "I am Francis, Francis Kotorisian",

A Soceniers man who's wearing a scarf and a jacket shouted to the masked man. The masked man tried to warp behind him and swipe him but that Francis turns out to be a silhouette. "Diamond Barrage!", Francis shouted as he began to shoot diamond projectiles from his hand towards the masked man. But, the masked man dodges and tries to stab Francis again. "Diamond Shield!", he shouted as he created a shield that would protect him from attacks. The masked man swiped his needle to Francis's shield aggressively while Francis was trying to hold him off. With all of his strength, Francis kicked the masked man away from him. The masked man tried to warp away but he couldn't. Francis, pointing his finger to the masked man, "Eat this, you masked jerk!", He shouted while he shot the masked man with his diamond projectiles. The masked man was knocked out by the force of projectiles.

"Good grief, I can't even catch a break because of those masked dudes", Francis mumbled as he picked his bag and began to leave. As he went further, a masked man got up with his shattered mask revealing his left eye and warped away….
