I watched the screen with dead eyes, my mind scanning each line of text. I was in a dark abyss of nothingness, the small screen just in front of my eyes and the only thing different. It was the game, before I died, or I think it is? Why is it still here? I questioned it as the line of text sat there. I waved my hand in front of it, the twenty four inch screen turning to the same pink as before. A loading bar answering my anxiety.

I was sure I was dead, no for a fact I knew I died. The pain was to real to say it was a dream, even if I hoped it was. The after life eh, pretty dark and roomy I guess?

I sat patiently as the bar filled up and a single word appeared in gold letters.

I was falling, well actually I thought I was rising but for sure the dark abyss slowly dissipated and I found myself looking at clouds below me. The white cotton candy like shapes looking soft as I rapidly approached them. I cursed aloud as my entire vision was engulfed in white as I hit them. Coldness and water vapor hitting me back. So clouds weren't as soft and airy as I thought. They were more wet and soggy or like a dog licking your face. I'm really bad at making parallels.

I did not know how to react, my mind was still stuck on my death and it clearly was spelled out that I was transported to another world. However the case may be, my lungs were in full throttle, my yells dying in the clouds. Then I broke through them, the whiteness slowly leaving me in the cold breeze. Holy fuck I was falling fast, actually to the point it was getting hard to breathe. I touched my throat, seeing as my wounds were gone I decided to glance down. Oh. My. God.

I had abs, or more so muscles in general. Did dying do that, if so I would gladly die over and over again. Wait that doesn't sound reassuring for my character persona. I smirked as my glasses were ripped of my face. Hey I need those! I whipped my hand out to try and grab them but they were already ten feet away. I blinked, my usual blurred vision completely absent. So you mean to tell me, I hit the sickest bank "shot" and killed myself, aaaaannnnd I get abs and great vision?

Jeez, dying was the best thing to happen to me all my life. The thought of Aaron losing his one and only friend made me falter though.

Goodbye old friend and like we always have said, "Always be great and you will never cease to be Amazing." I did not really understand what that meant but we coined it as our slogan for our clan for RAJ Raid, it meant the world to mouth them one last time. Ahhh, man my life had a few good moments.

...

Wait, I'm falling thousands of feet! I glared downwards and my mouth opened wide. From what my amazing eye sight could tell, there was a huge castle made of stone on a plateau and a huge wall surrounding it. Under the plateau was an entire kingdom of small houses and farmland, green grass and cobblestone stretched for miles. It was an amazing feat to witness, the building of such a place must have taken centuries.

After shaking myself of the shock, I was able to pinpoint my trajectory. I was aimed at a small lake of sorts just on the outskirts of town. I most likely was going to land there.

Land...

Would I die from the impact, hopefully not because that would make the shortest transported to another world record time. I swallowed hard, thousands of feet becoming hundreds.

A mental screen popped up in my head, just like a video game. I held my breath as I made sure to read it again. It looks like I was done for. Goodbye World I just discovered, it was nic-

'Hello Samuel.'

My mind stopped, my racing heart calming as I heard the voice of a female.

'I am Aurora, your servant and guide. My job is to give you as much information and support to help you gain what your prime objective is.'

My prime objective?

'Yes, the reason you were summoned to this World."

I ignored the distance between me and the lake and focused on Aurora, the new voice inside my head. Just having her there made be subdue any fear I had of dying.

'What objective is that?'

I said inside my head, hoping she got the message.

'To finally have a girlfriend of course.'

I emoted as I heard her. I guess they really nailed it there, technically the point of the Game/World. 'Um, Aurora, is this real or am I just dreaming?'

Aurora seem to smile, even if she was intangible it felt like I could see her face. A young girl with dark purple hair and pink glowing eyes, she sat on a wooden fence on a field of sunflowers. Woah.

'This is real Samuel, every time someone thinks of an idea or story, a world is formed. May it be not of your world or universe, every possible "World" exists within time and you have been summoned to this one in particular.'

I stared blankly at the ever approaching body of water, my mind drifting as she spoke. I really was dead...

'Aurora, I'm going to die if I do not do something, any advice?' The wind zipped past me as I came even closer to the lake, a dread setting in the back of my stomach.

'It is guaranteed you are going to die Samuel, but there is a way.' I tried to sigh but it was near impossible while falling. 'Might want to hurry and tell me because I'll be toast any second now.'

'Call upon your Gauntlet, it is the sole object bound to your spirit and presence in this word, with it ,you will survive.'

I clapped my hands together, 'Then let's do it so I don't die.' Aurora was silent for a moment, 'I warn you that if you call upon it now, your fate will be set in motion the moment you touch down.'

I waved her off, 'I won't have a fate if I'm dead Aurora.'

'As you wish Samuel.'
