To the outside world, Elle's schedule ran like this: Go to work, spend hours making sure everything at club M was running well and then focus on the paperwork. After the club closed, go to the hospital to check on her husband. Who was doing fine and just spend time talking to him before heading home, doing whatever she wanted to do and then doing it all over again with the cheerfulness of a person who was glad a loved one walked away from a situation that should have ended them with only a few minor injuries.
