17 Boss Fight 2

*Bam* * Bam*

Two punches hit the Boss , but it didn't budge all. It's slimy body dispersed the power of the punches and it received minimal damage.

*Wiggle wiggle*

The slime ignored the feeble attempts of the human in front of him to damage it and created a whip out of his body to strike Jack. The flexible whip flew towards Jack wanting to strike his head, but Jack wasn't stupid to take that attack.

"Back..

*Whoosh*

*Bang*

' That was close! If I had been a little late in dodging..

The slimes whip attack barely missed Jack's head and hit the wall beside him leaving a indentation on the rock wall.From that strike you could easily understand how powerful and dangerous the slime Boss was.

After the whip attack the Slime Boss was recovering and preparing to attack again. His jelatinous body rippled and stretched trying to form something else.

"Not a chance. Do you think that I have no idea what you're going to do? "

Jack knew from experience what the Slime Boss's next move was a jump and imediately disengaged the slime running as fast as he could backwards. His legs were so fast that it seemed like he was gliding over the ground.

1 second...

2 seconds...

' It's coming! '

*Bang*

Jack heard a loud booming sound behind him , but didn't turn to see what it eas because he already knew. The slime had landed, but he managed to dogge with little injuries from the stones that flew everywhere from the impact.

"Ughh...slimy bastard!"

The whole mine shook slightly and the sound of something slamming hard echoed over and over through the empty tunnels.

Jack got up wobbling a little and stared at the Slime Boss with new found fear.

'That attack really is something! The power behind it is strong enough to make me HP fall to zero instantly.'

The slime was picking himself up from the jump he did , but Jack was one step ahead. The best time to attack is when the enemy is still recovering and now was that time.

*Whoop whoop*

The unmistakable sound of his kusari-fundo cutting through the air was heard and a second later...

"Die, you supper sized pudding!"

The attack hit and the boos retreated a little from the impact.

"This is it, this is the pace..

The sound of the weighted end of the kusari-fundo hitting the boss was heard every two seconds.

The relentless attacks that Jack was unleashing on the Slime Boos were touch for it to handle so the only thing it could do was to stay there and bee a good practice target.

The speed of his attacks was so fast that a normal person may not even be able to see the chain retract and shoot out again , but only hear the sound of the impact.

'This is the best. The Boss can't retaliate at all and I'm taking a good amount of his health with every strike, but that's about it. I know I can do more.

Right now I'm raising my stats with my 'Physical Enhancement' and each time I attack I activate my 'Shoot' skill' raising my power , but the Mana pool I have right now is not able to sustain this kind of thing for to long.

I need to get stronger!'

*Bang*

Another attack hit the slime as usual, but this time something happened to it. In the gap between the attacks the Slime Boss quickly contracted his body and reduced it's size by at least 30 % making him become a purplish color.

' What's it doing? Is this some kind of new attack?'

Jack halted his flurry of attack and watched with caution the new changes to the Slime Boss.

'It just compressed itself, but why ? Did it think it would become a smaller target and be harder to hit as a result?

Is it some kind of rage mode?'

Jack wondered about the changes to the slime Boss, but he did it for naught as the opponent was happy to demonstrate the reason.

"This..is!?"

Jack was left speachless .The slime instead of attacking begun to change shape and soon it's front side was filled with 5 cm long spikes.

'Is it going to rush at...

*Phew phew...

"Ughh....

*drip drip*

Scarlet blood dripped from three different spots in his upper body where the needles the slime launched had struck him.

"Damn it,it got me good .

This slimy bastard..

The spikes appeared again . The slime prepared the same attack again, but this time Jack new what to expect.

He was going to counter it with his most valuable and most useful skill.

'The best course of action now is..

Jack ran as fast as he could holding his wound's while the Slime Boss who had seemed to have gotten a stat boost was hot on his ass.

Jack ran and ran , but he couldn't shake the slime. The Boss jumping distance was big and frequency was short.

"Damnit, I can't shake him of and worse is that I'm almost out of Mana.

*Bang*

Guess it's finally time."

Jack came to a sudden stop and stood his ground like he was going to fight the slime head on, but that was far from the truth.

The slime didn't understand the words of the human in front of him , but it didn't waste this opportunity to kill his opponent

'I really hope I haven't overestimated my skill.'

The slime jumped again with all the force it could muster to crush the human and show that he was not to be trifled with , but his jelly brain had underestimated the human .

The slime died and his demise was his doing. Instead of Jack becoming a pancake the Slime Boss became a kebab.
