3 Chapter 3

It's been a month since I came to this world.

Finally, I got used to my body, and now I had no problems with coordination when working. By the way, I slept in the forge, and ate there.

Unfortunately, it was hard for me to somehow physically help the blacksmith, but my nimble legs and curiosity provided at least moral support.

The blacksmith turned out to be an interesting conversationalist, not stupid and very cynical. He often talked about the real state of things in the kingdoms, spoke about the peculiarities of taxing residents, about the authorities, etc. And when he heard about my unusual "acquaintance" with the princess, he laughed non-stop for several minutes, pretty embarrassing me.

After work, I didn't have much time left, so I spent the remaining two or three hours in physical training in some kind of wasteland. But this time I came here for a different reason.

[Mana Core Formation Progress Completed - 99%]

I heard an emotionless voice in my head.

My core was almost formed, and remembering what happens after the completion of this process, I came to the wasteland.

*Sigh*

- I hope everything goes well...

Closing my eyes, I concentrated on picking up the fragments, as always, when I felt a feeling of fullness in my chest, which increased with each time. And so, I reached for the last fragment ...

[Mana Core Formation Progress Completed]

[Mana Core Formed]

[You have gained the abilities - Mana Core, Mana Manipulation, Element Particle Perception, Caster, Fire Manipulation, and Earth Manipulation]

The feeling of fullness vanished, and a huge force burst out of my body. Leaning my hands on the ground and breathing raggedly, I opened my eyes, looking at the destruction caused.

Everything within a radius of several meters was destroyed by the explosion.

- Damn... We have to leave before anyone comes...

Slowly getting up, I ran to the forge, where, taking a breath, I began to read the messages of the system.

"Hmm.. turns out I'm a caster, as I remember, they cast spells by taking mana from the environment. I also have an affinity for fire and earth, which is already considered rare, so I was lucky in that regard."

Stretching out my hand, I focused on the palm, and after a few minutes a light lit on it.

"..Cool…" I whispered with sparks in my eyes looking at my palm, feeling how little by little I absorb the surrounding mana, using it to create fire.

Even when I moved, this process was not interrupted, which seemed to be a unique skill.

After putting out the fire, I thought about how I can try the earth magic?

But my body had other plans. With a long yawn, I stretched and lay down on the couch, falling asleep from fatigue.

In the morning the working day began.

When clients appeared, I ran errands, bringing the weapon that the master asked for. Behaving politely with them, greeting them and carefully completing the tasks of the blacksmith. He appreciated me very much, including for this. It was not said out loud, but, apparently, the man became attached to me a little. I also liked him as a man with remarkable willpower.

Just like that, another month passed very imperceptibly, July came, and I, looking at the little money raised, thought about my future plans. As comfortable as working as a blacksmith, I needed to get stronger in order to survive the coming war.

A week ago, I was able to create a fireball, and now I basically had a normal physical form. As for the earth, here too, after a long time, I was able to master the earth bullet spell. The rest of the time I tried to meditate.

In general, I could stand up for myself. And the cracks in my dark core said that soon I would become one step stronger.

"What about adventurers? That way I can get combat experience and make a name for myself. And I'll probably meet Arthur. A good relationship with the main character certainly will not be superfluous ... "

Congratulations, you have received the Life of an Adventurer quest!

Become an adventurer by successfully passing the exam.

Rewards: C-rank: 1 RP (skill points), B-rank: 2 RP, A-rank: 3 RP

AA-rank: Epic level weapon and 4 EP, S-rank: 6 EP, "Sea of Mana" ability.

"Here comes the first quest… And to be honest, the rewards look pretty good. As I understand it, skills are improved for skill points, oddly enough. "Sea of Mana" looks quite tempting, but I don't remember an S-rank adventurer being introduced in the manga. So the most I can hope for is an AA rank, and a katana with 4 skill points."

Nodding to myself, I went to the blacksmith to discuss my plans.

When he heard that I wanted to become an adventurer, he laughed at first, but when he realized that I was not joking, and was very serious, he began to frown.

"Being an adventurer is by no means an easy job, and don't think that you'll only save princesses from evil dragons and the like. You will be haunted by dangers at every turn, and there is no time when your luck will run out and you will meet your death ... So I will ask again, Aaron, are you sure you want to become an adventurer? The master narrowed his eyes.

- I understand the risks I'm taking, but still I want to become strong in order to calmly spend my life without fear of unexpected incidents. Yes, and I'm not very weak - a small light and earth began to spin around my palm - So I'm sure of my choice.

The blacksmith sighed.

- You are an unusual guy, your bowler boils ... Yes, and I know that you own two elements, - he said, surprising me a little - Ha-ha-ha, didn't you think that I wouldn't notice your games with fire and earth during working hours! Okay, I'll help you get to the Adventurer's Guild.

I smiled at his answer.

When I woke up the next morning, I started getting ready to leave.

Putting on a T-shirt and pants, I took one last look at the forge where I had lived for two months. He also tied the dagger given by the blacksmith to his belt, nodding with satisfaction.

- I see you're ready kid. – said the master, looking at me from the threshold.

- Yes.

A few minutes later we arrived at the departing carriages, one of which was supposed to take me to the branch of the Xyrus guild.

- It's time to say goodbye .. - I said sadly.

- Yes. All I can say is be careful and know your limits. I'm sure you'll be all right. Good luck Aaron – the master said with a smile.

Thank you for giving me a job, see you later! I waved my hand in farewell as I set off.
