Chapter 16: The Shining Beacon (2)

~Albus POV~

"Excuse me!"

What I truly expect from this is Schnee clearly being more childish at the moment when I made her a fool even thinking to command me.

Taking out the Dust and giving it back to her as Ruby runs behind me avoiding an explosion as I spoke harshly to Weiss, "Exactly what I said foolish fool. You have no right to command if you a fool is acting out in a childish manner. So, childish that you make others flee. Tch. Tch. No tact whatsoever miss fool that is so close to causing an explosion."

Realization on both the faces of the two widen if only a bit, but before Weiss was the first to reply trying to defend herself, "It wouldn't have happened if that little girl didn't drop all my luggage in the first place! And what is a little girl attending Beacon this isn't your ordinary combat school!"

However, despite her words, I didn't respond as my eyes told me all that I didn't give a fuck what this fool is talking about. She took the hint as I wasn't going to let her walk over me as I countered back harshly crossing my arms together, "That may be true miss… but as someone who's older one would think a calm mind is needed to be one of the elites here in Beacon Academy. And if you have then you would've not needed to lecture miss Rose in a childish manner fool."

Ruby went behind me to hide as she took a glance at Weiss and I see the said person was really turning red with anger from my comment as miss Rose said to her apologetically, "Hey, I said I was sorry, princess!"

That was when I heard a girl's voice yet sarcasm filled it as she spoke, "It's heiress, actually."

Ah… the literal catgirl in the flesh Blake Belladonna.

Blake in her Volume 1 outfit, wears a black, buttoned vest with coattails and a single silver button on the front. Underneath this is a white, sleeveless, high necked, crop undershirt and white shorts with a zipper on the front of each leg, emblazoned with the YKK logo of the real-life Japanese zipper manufacturer.

She also wears black low-heeled boots and full stockings with a color gradation of black to purple at her ankles. Her emblem is visible on the outside of both thighs just below her shorts in white. On her left arm is a black detached sleeve with a silver cuff around her bicep, and black ribbons are wrapped around both forearms.

A small, loose, black scarf is wrapped around her neck, and a gray magnetic backpack is strapped to her back, hidden by her hair. She often keeps her weapon attached to the magnetic backpack when she is not using it.

A black ribbon is tied with a large bow on the top of her head, with her cat ears hidden inside the loops. She wears purple eyeshadow in Cats eye style.

Blake continues her introduction for Weiss although not like she needed it honestly since she's going to get what she needs humility, "Weiss Schnee, heiress to the Schnee Dust Company, one of the largest producers of energy propellant in the world."

Weiss looks to be actually happy to be recognized… good thing something happens next, "Finally! Some recognition."

I said my sentence finishing Blakes as taught Miss Fool a valuable lesson in humility, "Isn't that the same company infamous for its controversial labor forces and very questionable business partners. That kind of shady company?"

I see Blakes's smile and nod at that while Weiss was shocked and angry that she left with a few wise words, "What?! How dare--! The nerve of--! UGH!"

When she started to leave Ruby the nice innocent girl that she is says, "I promise I'll make this up to you!"

While she was busy with that, I saw that Blake is already leaving the area as Ruby was moving on, the floor but I thanked her for the help regardless since Weiss is out speaking distance to not cause a scene, "Thank you very much for the assistance Princess of Menagerie Blake Belladonna."

Blake paused and twitched her 'ribbons' at this before she glanced in my direction surprised as I left just in time to help Ruby who was in her own world on the floor with her in a worried tone, "I guess I'm not the only one having a rough first day."

Picking her up as Blake looks conflicted to either join or sneak away I didn't give her the chance as I called her out to see how she reacts, "Oh my Princess Blake would you rather stay and help. How generous of-"

Interrupting me as I help out Ruby lifting her up she clearly looked offended as she tried to shush me, "Shush! Can you please stop calling me Princess that… and how did you-"

But Ruby interrupts Blake in time while she properly gets herself to stand up while speaking in a genuine tone of voice, "Huh… OH! Yeah, thank you for the help, Albus. Thanks for the help also you are miss…?"

Blake was now stuck in a position she couldn't find out what to do before she sighs at this trying to be nice to Ruby and talk to me before she left, "Well… I'm Blake and well then kid welcome to Beacon Academy. And you Albus was it? I want to talk to you later about finding my name-"

"Internet."

She blinks a bit at my answer as I deadpan the obvious as she sheepishly goes away but not before she replied to me with a light glare, "No what I meant- You know what. I'll talk to you later about how you find me out, Albus. I'm keeping an eye on you."

Well, that certainly went well enough as with that I talked to Ruby helping her but also reassure her confidence as we went on ahead to help her out till we finally go towards the auditorium where the rest of the students are.

~Third POV~

While the two were talking they both have come to their destination as the two eventually reached the orientation where they separated their ways with Ruby going to Yang and Albus going off on his own to see around the place.

While by himself Albus spots the spartan as he goes over there as he tries to introduce himself to miss spartan herself Pyrrha in a kind manner, "Hello there miss it's a pleasure to meet you. And you are?"

Pyrrha wore her red hair in a waist-length ponytail, curled slightly into a loose ringlet. She also wore light-green eyeshadow around the far upper corners of her green eyes. She was tall and quite muscular compared to most of the other girls at Beacon.

As a top, she wears a brown over-bust corset with a vertical strip of lighter brown in the center. Additionally, Pyrrha wore an elastic, black, A-line mini skirt and brown opera-length gloves on both arms. She wore a red ankle-length sash that wrapped around her skirt and she wears armor.

While Albus approaches Pyrrha and says while waving at her in a friendly tone Pyrrha looks somewhat surprised at him approaching her but replies regardless as she spoke back to her returning the same tone, "Ah, well hello there as well Albus, I guess you came here as well for orientation, and by the way, I'm Pyrrha Nikos I guess you must have heard of me before yes?"

He just plays it off as confusion to Pyrrha's question and replies to her honestly which shocks her as he spoke, "Sorry should I know you?. So, I do apologize if I have never known of you before miss Pyrrha."

Pyrrha looks more shocked but is internally excited to make some actual friends with someone who didn't know, 'Finally I can make some friends with people my own age! Also… the aura he holds… is very balanced…'

With that, the both of them introduce themselves to each other trying to build a stable connection with her before everything goes down. That was when everyone listens in to the ceremony from Ozpin, but as they all listened to his speech, "I'll... keep this brief. You have traveled here today in search of knowledge, to hone your craft and acquire new skills, and when you have finished, you plan to dedicate your life to the protection of the people. But I look amongst you, and all I see is wasted energy, in need of purpose, direction. You assume knowledge will free you of this, but your time at this school will prove that knowledge can only carry you so far. It is up to you to take the first step."

Just as Ozpin leaves, Glynda began to step up to talk to the other students as she spoke respectfully to them, "You will gather in the ballroom tonight; tomorrow, your initiation begins. Be ready. You are dismissed."

With everything is done all the students began to leave for their spots Albus glanced at Pyrrha as he replied to her in a kind voice, "I see our time is up miss Nikos. I hope you have a wonderful afternoon. Hope you enter the Academy."

Pyrrha grins happily at this while Albus leaves seeing Blake's icon above her head coming after him as he enters inside the hallways when everyone was done.

Blake Belladonna Lv.99 (4950/4950 HP)

As he waited for Blake to talk she came around and before she could use her weapon to threaten him he used his <Binding> to keep her weapon in place as he spoke calmly, "If you want to Blake how I figured out your name… its because of my Semblance. No, I won't explain how because we share the same thing we don't wish to have."

Blake narrows her eyes at him as she tried to get her weapon out as she spoke till she realized she couldn't take it out when she finished talking, "What do you mean? What could we possibly have one thing in common- wait why isn't my-"

Beginning to walk away from her Albus gave her word of the advice having the common thing as he spoke giving Blake confusion of her thoughts, "We don't want to be hunted down like animals. One for you being a former White Fang member and me for my power. Have a nice day Princess of Menagerie Blake Belladonna."

She looked at him in disbelief as she frowns as she replied to him not being called that, "What have I said before. I don't like being called princess."

A small devious smirk appeared on Albus' face indicating he wouldn't as he replied, "It's the truth though, isn't it? A princess helping her fellow Faunus in her noble way?"

Blake couldn't respond to that as she scoffs it off but the blush on her face was evident on her face…
