9 Chapter 9 Install [ ].
Everyone looked at me expectantly and all the teachers contained hints of arrogance in their gaze.
I couldn't blame them. They were all top heroes with years of experience behind them. How could a fifteen year-old brat best them in their a job they have been doing for years.
I mentally smirk, 'I am so going to regret this, but I have to know the extent of my power and how close to the peak of the world am I'.
I take a deep breath and stare Aizawa straight in the eyes.
"Oh? You want Aizawa? How-".
"Everyone except Aizawa". I say.
Now that definitely raised some eyebrows. Vlad-King couldn't believe it and started laughing, holding his stomach while slapping the Erasure Hero's arm.
"This kid you recommended sure is funny, Shota! Did you hear him?".
All the other teachers chuckled and held back a laugh. Everybody except Nezu, All Might and Aizawa were laughing.
"I'll give you guys one piece of advice. When he uses his quirk, don't blink. Otherwise it'll be over for you".
This silenced them.
If it was anyone else, they might have ignored it. But since Aizawa mentioned blinking, they thought his quirk my be speed related. And that was always a hassle to deal with. Speedsters and quirks that affected things at an atomic level were things they always needed to look out for.
"I'm not saying anything else. That would be cheating", his shit-eating grin was evident as he walked over to the side of the stadium, Momo and Shoto in tow.
Present Mic, Cementoss, Midnight, Snipe, Ectoplasm, Power-loader, Vlad King, Nezu and All Might all stood their side by side waiting for Aizawa to start the countdown.
"I'll go first. I will probe his quirk and create plans around it. There is a 19.749% chance he possesses a Speed Quirk from what Aizawa said. We have to take precautions", Said Nezu.
All the other Heroes listened to their furry boss. He may be little but IQ was larger than all of them.
"Are we ready?", said a monotone voice
"Okay then. 3... 2...1...Go!".
No-one moved but Nezu who had borrowed one of Snipe's guns and shot plastic bullets at Kagami.
Smirking Kagami said in a voice, just loud enough for the Heroes to hear, "Reduced Earth". To them, my body leaned forward slightly, causing the ground beneath me to crack and I reappeared behind Nezu and grabbed him by his shirt.
"See ya", and with a single [Mana Burst - Lightning] threw the furry principal high up in the air.
"Kagami! What are you doing?". Shouted All Might.
I checked the time, 7 seconds and counting.
"Divide and Conquer All Might. You're the only person here who can reach Principal Nezu in time and you're the only one fast enough to beat me. Check, your move".
Despite the 'villainous' act the teachers were impressed by my decisive thinking. The realized they couldn't hold back any more and all of them spread out, except for All Might who leaped after Nezu.
"I'm sorry kid. I really underestimated you, however... YEAHHHHHHHH!". a high pitched voice aimed directly at me caused me to flinch thus leaving me open for Snipe to attack.
*Bang*Bang*. Two bullets shot out and hit the ground were I was standing.
I had used Reduced Earth again to retreat from Present Mic and Snipe's combo move and back up to a corner of the arena.
"You're cornered kid!", I hear a voice come from underground and two hand reach up and attempt to grab me.
I jump and evade the hands only for another two bullets to come out aimed at me mid-air.
The teachers breath a sigh of relief and lower their guard slightly causing me to smirk.
[Mana Burst - Water]
Gathering my prana within my feet I send a torrent of water out of the bottom of my shoes, propelling me further into the air.
"Wha?".
"No way!".
"That's impossible!".
My super speed and the creation of water. To quirks that have no relationship with each other whatsoever.
Falling back to the ground, I feel the earth shift beneath me and pillars of cement come rising out of the ground, changing the open arena into a concrete jungle.
"Oh? You escaped that did you? How about this!". Cementoss at the center of the arena, standing beside Midnight and Ectoplasm had opened two paths for them to take with me still escaping from Snipe's direct line of sight.
"24 seconds".
This is the biggest workout of my life! An entire 8 months work goes into one minute of dodging and evading. I go to lean around a corner but a bullet shoots out and hits the pillar I was standing behind.
"I don't suppose we can have a time out?", I say.
I get no response. Damn these Heroes, what can I say that can get them to reveal their positions. Think! Think!

"Midnight, let's make a bet. If I win you have to go to dinner with me. If I lose, you can do whatever the hell you want to me! BDSM, toys. bondage, the whole works!". A sharp intake of breath occurred to the left to the left of me and I smirked.
'Gotcha!'. Using Reduced Earth arrive behind Midnight's back and catch her by surprise. Just as she is about to turn around I chop the back of her throat and catch her body, it dissipates, turns into blood and attempts to engulf my body.
"Sh*t", I say out loud. I channel another wave of prana, this time to every part of my body and imagine
[Mana Burst - Flame].
My body is engulfed with flames and all of it burns away any blood nearby.
"Jesus Christ another one?".
"That's three. How many does he have?".
The Heroes retreat behind the stone pillars leaving only a single Hero within my line of sight.
Ectoplasm.
I look down. 38 seconds down. 22 to go.
Looking back up his single body had multiplied into several dozen, all the them surrounding me, slowly getting closer.
"C'mon kid. It's over now. You're surrounded. Just give up", said all the Ectoplasm's.
I was about to say something but I heard a lazy voice over the speaker.
"I forgot to mention. The kid has a [Presence Detection] quirk too. Can detect anything within 100 meters".
Oh my god! I completely forgot! They aren't living beings. The I was only fooled by the blood clone because my skill is too low level, but in front of these masses of ectoplasm...
"There!". Using Reducing Earth once more I appear in front of Ectoplasm with a speed that rivals teleportation and punch him in the stomach sending him flying back, only to be caught be several of his clones.
"That was good kid. Didn't expect you to have a Presence Detection Quirk as well as your other three, but I'm afraid it's over". I look down for less than 1/10th of a second.
'I've still got 11 seconds to go, why would they say-'. Something else entered my [Presence Detection] I looked up and using both [Reduced Earth] and [Mana Burst - Lightning] is zip away form one side of the arena all the way to the other. He life flashing right before my eyes.
"You've done well, Kagami shounen... but I'm afraid it's over, now that I am here!". His smile appeared more malicious when on the receiving end. His pearly whites transformed into something a sharper and what was wrong with my eyes. They are getting so...
"Midnight!", I stumbled a little before deciding to do something stupid.
[Mana Burst - Flames].
Using that I burned my left arm trying to fight off the sleepiness induced by Midnight's quirk.
"Kagami! What are you doing", I heard Momo's voice over the speaker.
I was now wide awake. If my count was correct then I had five seconds left to go before I completed the exam. I was surrounded on all sides. And I could sense Power Loader coming closer and closer like some sort of land shark.
Midnight had a look of guilt on her face but it didn't stop her from unleashing more natural sleeping gas and Nezu and Snipe had both their guns pointed at me with a stern expression on their faces. Ectoplasm's clones had encircled me and Vlad-King was standing beside Cementoss.
I only had five seconds left and I failed.
All this power I've gained was for naught. And everything up till no has been for nothing.
Part of me didn't believe this but I tried so hard...
"Do you desire power?"
A deep voice rang out. It contained a power that I had never felt before. Even when using the 'normal' Class Cards. For a split second the setting in front of me changed. I was standing in front of a giant cup and above it a black hole, emanating a sense of nothing and everything at the same time.
"Do you desire power?".
I heard it again. The voice coming from beyond the black hole.
"Do you desire power!".
Yes. Yes I do! Power to win! Power to change the world!
"I see. I will grant you a portion of my power if you remember my creed. "The power of Man shall turn seas and topple mountains! God's shall tremble before our Might. The Divine will fall and be forgotten in the ocean of possibilities! Now call out my Name!".
I looked back at All Might and shouted, "Install! Alcides!".
