3 Chapter 3 Training Montage Pt 1

It was an early Tuesday morning an a young man while pretty features could be seen puffin heavily as he ran through a park. The boy would've drawn some heads while running, however as he was heavily caked in sweat, nobody would go near him.

It had been one week since Kagami Ren reincarnated into the world of My Hero Academia. In this time he had found out many things about this world that he did not originally know.

Like how hard it was for people without quirks to fit in with society. The original owner of this body was quirkless and his parents split up for this very reason. Both his mother and father had created new families with other people, and legally he was still their child and payed for his rent, utilities and gave a certain amount of allowance each month for groceries.

Kagami didn't mind how they treated him. It wasn't that he hated them or felt like they betrayed him, but he possessed no memories of either of them and treated them like strangers when they meet once before the school year started.

Speaking of school.

"I still can't *pant* believe it. Momo Yaoyorozu and Ibara Shiozaki both go to Gorudo Middle School. It's all according to keikaku, hehehe".

Ignoring his silly reference he took a big gulp of water and continued running back home.

Over the past week only a single stat had increased while all the others stayed stagnant.

He realized his fallacy when he made the wish with the voice to link them with his Class Cards. It was so hard just to increase his stats by a " - " that he nearly considered only using the Class Cards with low mana cost instead of training, that was until an incident a few days ago.

"No way Yaoyorozu-san! You're planning on going to UA once you finish Middle School?"

"As expected of Yaoyorozu-sama, she's amazing!".

"You got that right. A Creation Quirk! That's so flashy, it'll definitely get her noticed by some big-shot hero and will definitely make her their sidekick".

The old Kagami was excluded from many groups with Gorudo Middle School because of his he was 'quirkless'.

Although nobody bullied him, he was mocked and teased behind his back every time he tried to talk to someone.

"Is everyone here planning on going to a Hero School", asked the homeroom teacher.

Everyone in the class nodded, except for a single student in the back row who said to the person next to him.

"Everyone except for Kagami that is".

The entire class snickered and even the homeroom teacher smiled but didn't say anything.

"Anyways, you all have to work hard this year especially you Kagami-kun, alright", I could do nothing but nod while underneath my desk my hand was clenching so hard that I drew blood.

Remembering the indifference the teachers show to the blatant bulling they showed both the old Kagami and I, I wanted to use Saber to cut them all down.

However one good thing happened that day at least.

"Kagami-san, are you okay".

After school I left immediately after the final bell rang and a familiar black haired beauty came my way, her voice drenched in concern and worry.

I gave her a charming smile and said, "It's fine Yaoyorozu-san. No need to concern yourself with me".

She furrowed her brows before looking at the bits of blood on inside of my hand. Grabbing me by the wrist she forcibly opened my palms and gasped at the wounds.

"Kagami! How did this happen to you, come with me right now".

Before I could respond, she pulled my by the wrist and took me directly to the infirmary.

"Nurse could you please take a look- ara? Nobody's here".

Yaoyorozu pointed at a stool for me to sit down on while she grabbed a bottle of disinfectant and some bandages.

"You should be more careful, Kagami-san. You wouldn't want to ruin your chances of getting into a good Hero School".

I blinked, "You, don't think it's silly?".

"Silly for what", she replied.

"For a quirkless to be a Hero".

She didn't say anything but just stood up and walked to the door. I thought she was going to leave but instead she just turned around and gave me a radiant smile.

"Not at all. I think it makes you even more amazing Kagami-kun".

After that she walked out of the infirmary and I leaned back and smiled.

'That could've gone worse'.

Now with my faith in humanity newly restored the world I put in, not just for school, but for my training as well. I had also worked on my skill with the Saber class and in the process I earned a new skill.

The skill one possesses with a sword. The sword is not just a weapon for killing, the way of the sword in of itself is an art form and expresses itself in sword techniques and sword dances. Can be leveled up.

That however wasn't the only skill I had acquired as a result of training with a Class Card. While messing around with the Rider Class Card, I found out that it contained the Heroic Spirit Astolfo, one of the Twelve Paladins of Charlemagne and gained the Riding Skill without having to use a class Card

Riding is a Class Skill of Rider and Saber class Servants, denoting the ability to ride mounts and vehicles. Rider-class Servants will typically possess a high rank. It is said that dragon type mounts are an exception, requiring a different ability other than Riding. Can be leveled up.

Unfortunately the skill can only be leveled up while I am driving a vehicle or riding an animal. The brief summoning of the Hippogriff that trashed my living room was proof of that.

Anyway, after an entire month of training, both physical and with Class Cards my status turned into something like this.

I gained all of this over the course of one month.

In one month I physically changed as well. I grew another 3 cm and my body grew leaner and more toned as a result of the training done. I didn't cut my hair so it sat just below my collar, causing me to either tie it up or cut it.

I didn't cut it of course. I bunched it all up into a small high pony tail on the back of my head. This caused several eyebrows to be raised when members of the opposite sex looked at me. A couple of girls who didn't know me very well and wasn't aware that I was quirkless hung out with me for a couple days before some of their friends told them of my 'condition'.

With a massive sigh I walked out of the classroom and out into the garden until a figure caught me eye.

'So that's where you were'.
