4 Chapter 3: Saving a Village

Xecco's POV

'That meeting was intense! I've never been into that before and I've never been the leader of a meeting either. In fact, I was only a weak high school student and I am invisible. No one praised me like that before except from my parents when I was a child. Being lonely was pretty sad. Now I understand what these NPC's felt when the other Lord's left the game.'

I sigh while I was walking in the dark corridor. I'm heading to the underground sky that was made by my comrade Leander. I also felt that I'm falling due to the success plan of Alvin. I didn't know that he has an intellectual advantage to Alvina.

Not long ago, I was here in the 4th floor; Underground Sky. In here, I can see all the colorful galaxies and the moon was so close. I looked at the skies and it somehow gives me relaxing feeling.

Suddenly, I heard a foot steps coming in my direction. I looked at my side and saw Aizen looking at the skies.

"This is sure to be relaxing thing to do, right my Lord?" he said

I looked at the stars and the different galaxies.

"This is the underground sky made by Leander. We always have a talk or stay in here when we are in times of trouble to think." I answered

"Is there something bothering you, my Lord? Tell me so I can finish them in instant!" he said with serious tone and looked upon me

I waved my hands to him.

"No, no. It's not like that. I'm just reminiscing the memories." I replied

He sighed and looked to the skies again. I lifted my hands and chant.

"Ring activate; Fly!"

Suddenly, ring gives me a power to fly and reach the moon. I flew near the moon and take a look downward. Even though it was underground, the illusion given by it is so realistic, thinking that you were in the top and when you look down, the world is so small to see. Everything is small.

Aizen decided to follow me and use his power to fly.

"Element of wind; fly!" he chant and a wind formed in his sole that helps him to fly. He paused at my direction and look down.

"The world in the ground was so big but if you were in the highest position, it'll become small." I said

He continued to become silent and waiting for me to continue what I was been talking.

"World Domination was the dream of mine and my comrades. Now that I have the power of Jezreel, will I stand against this new world without them?" I looked at Aizen and he's seemed to be confused.

'Ruling the world was an impossible dream though, I can't do it without the help of my comrades.'

Lately, a shadow formed appeared to the gate of 4th floor.

"Lord Aeolus, I did it!" yelled Alvin and hugged me

When I hugged him back, he realizes that he have gone through.

"I'm so sorry, my Lord. I'm carried away" he said in hesitation

I pay his head while chuckling.

"It's okay Alvin, you did a great job." I said

I saw in his eyes that he was fluttered and he quickly ran away with joy.

'Adorable'

[The next day...]

I was here in the headquarters to manage the whole kingdom. I was stucked here in one day, is there a possibility that I can go back to the real world?

"Lord Aeoulus, in the village I have been told you last night, it was been attacked now by these soldiers of an unknown kingdom. What should we do to this village?" Cleo reported

I looked at the mirror and I can saw the people was been terribly slain. They were totally helpless.

'Last time I saw it in the movie, I can't keep my eyes on because I was terrified but now, I was calmly watching the massacre. Did this character personality already adopted me?'

The mirrored was focused to a sister and a little girl who was cornered by the soldiers.

"Please spare my sister's life! I'm begging you.." she cried

But she was stabbed in her hip by a soldier.

"Lord Xecco, what should we do?" he asked again

I looked on his eyes. And it was very like of Leander's since he was his creator. A flashback came to my mind that wanted me to save the village.

"Save the village and tell Xcynz to dress in full armour. Also, raise Jezreel's security." I commanded

"Affirmative, my Lord" he said and bowed

"Helping in those in needs are duties of a man. It somehow brings a man out of you" I added

He smiled at me and proceed to do his errand.

Third Person's POV

In the forest near the village, two sisters were running from the brutal soldier who slaugthered their parents.

"Little sister, run!" Deliah said while holding her stab at her hip

"No sister, I will stay at your side. I don't want to lose you either!" Chelsea cried

The soldiers laugh at them.

"Look at these fools. So dramatic" said a soldier

"I have my tears here!" added a soldier

"Hahaha, you idiot! You are such charitable" teased by a soldier

"No, I'm not! Grr. I'm gonna kill you two bitches!" yelled the soldier

When the soldier was able to attack, a light of blue and violet mixed together appeared and formed a portal.

In the portal, it brings a half skeleton with a big black coat and a full-armored girl. It was Aeolus and Xcynz.

"W-What the hell are you?" asked the terrified soldier

"Hmm.. Hahahaha, how interesting" Aeolus said with a deep scary voice

'This is my chance to practice my skills if they were possible in this world' Aeolus said to himself

A big soldier appeared and his steps cause the ground to shake.

"Don't be so cocky, fight me!" The big soldier said

Aeolus chuckled and lift his index finger.

"Absorb!" he chanted

A dark violet appeared in the big soldier's body and it seems that he was evaporating. All of the soldiers were shaken and terrified.

"Aaaarghhh!" screamed the big soldier

Aeolus' finger absorb the big soldier in one simple attack.

"M-Monster!" soldiers shouted

"Are you a human?" a soldier stuttered

"Today, none of you can leave here alive" Aeolus said

'This unknown feelings.. How could I stand killing a helpless person without hesitation. Where's my soul?' Aeolus said to himself

"You, low-life creature has no match to the highest Lord of all time." Xcynz chuckled

"L-Low-life?" a soldier said in shiver

"I'm out of here!" a soldier scream and ran

"No running away!" Xcynz said and she grabbed the ring of fire in her head and throw in into the running soldier.

"Argh!" yelled soldier as if he was cut in half

"Very well. As I said, no one can leave here alive" he said and lift up his finger

"Rise and reborn, my loyal servants!" hechanted

By the dark fire absorbtion's power, he lend it into the half-cutted corpse. The halves were absorbing the power and they were regenerated as a big black-armoured knights.

The two of the Dark Knights bowed at Aeolus.

"My servants, kill all the soldiers around the village and protect the villagers" he commanded

"Aaaghhh!! God, please help us. Have mercy!" they yelled and run

The two sisters were afraid to Aeolus when he came near to them. Due to his demonic action, and also they saw Aeolus' skeletal chest and hands.

"It seems that you were injured. Here, drink this." Aeolus give her a red complete healing potion

"B-Blood?" Deliah whispered in fear

"No, sister! Don't drink it, it's a poison!" cried little Chelsea

Xcynz raged and pointed her ring of fire to Chelsea. Afraid Chelsea hide in the back of Deliah.

"Stop Xcynz, you are scaring them." Aeolus said

"Hmmp. Fine" she replied

"This was a healing potion. It will help you to heal the stab in your hip." he said with a soothing voice

Deliah drink it and the stab in her hip slowly recovering. Deliah was surprised on what she saw.

"Thank you, Mr. Can I have your name? I'm sorry if I misjudged you. I am grateful for saving my life!" Deliah said in tears

"I am Lord Aeolus Von Gerouxe. Call me Aeolus" he stated

"Thank you so much, Lord Aeolus." Deliah said

"Sister!" Chelsea hugged Deliah

"Lord Aeolus, thank you so much for saving my sister." Chelsea said

"Be forever grateful to the Lord who saved you low-life creatures. The most highest and powerful Lord is a merciful god." Xcynz stated

"It was nothing. Get up, and we will heading to the village" Aeolus said

In the village, people there were scared because of the Dark Knight who merciless kills the soldiers.

"Help me!"

"Save us!"

"Monsters!"

The soldiers were chopped off, cut in halves and their blood scattered in the ground.

"Stop, Dark Knights!" Aeolus commanded

The Dark Knight immidiately stop killing. The power was again absorbed by Aeolus by his finger. The people were shocked in what they saw.

Only few soldiers were survived in the massacre.

"You, tell your master that if ever you will attack these people in this village, no one will leave to this place alive, did you hear that?" Aelous commanded

"Y-Yes" the soldier said and left the village running and screaming.

Before Aeolus stepped into the village, he buttoned his coat and wear a gloves to hide his skeletal appearance.

'The girls were scared because I am half skeleton so if I hide it, they will consider me as a human. I guess it will work somehow.' Aeokus said to himself

"Thank you for saving our village!" the chief praised

"Our saviour!"

"The hero of the Hillcrest Village!"

"It's nothing. It was a duty of a man. But I will have a small favor to you." Aeolus said

"I will do it with all I can do" the chief replied

Xecco's POV

I asked more information about this world in the chief. I can't believe that this world were so different from the game we've been conquered before.

"We are here. We are in the Hillcrest Village." the chief pointed a little dot in the map

"This village was connected to the route of Imanity Kingdom. The kingdom of humans. Imanity was the weakest kingdoms among all kingdoms. There were seven nations in this world. First is Dracos Kingdom(Dragon Kingdom), second is Rhaegos (Wizard Kingdom), third is Gefion Kingdom (Elven Kingdom), fourth is Seirim Kingdom (Element Bender's Kingdom), fifth is Quezaltine Kingdom (Celestial Kingdom) and the last were Imanity Kingdom( Human Kingdom)" he discussed

"Imanity was always been dominated by each of the nations because we can't go any progress. That's why our Kingdom goes into a training in which we can be spell caster or neither we are best in swordsmanship. We are also have an Adventurer's Guild for the adventurers who will payed for services like killing the monsters in the town of village. That's all I knew, my Lord" he continued

'Hmm.. It seems that I've got a little knowledge about this world.'

"Thank you for the information. I will headed back to my place now." I said

"I was the one who will be thankful, for saving the village." the chief said and bowed

Suddenly, a man rushed into the chief's house with a scared reaction.

"Chief, they were two groups of soldiers outside the village! One is from Rhaegos with a hundred of soldiers and one is the Imanity soldiers who led by Alastair Zu, the great knight of the king. They were now inside the village" a man reported

"Master Alastair? Oh, how great!" Said the chief

"He's here!"

A man with a brown hair, brown eyes and a big muscular body arrive at the house' door.

"A greetings to the great Master Alastair!" The chief greeted

Alastair looked at my direction.

"You must be, Master Aeolus who save this village from the Quezaltine's army. I'm so glad to meet you and I'm very thankful for saving this village." he said with sincere eyes

"How dare you humans call Lord Aeolus a Master? You should---"

I quickly covered Xcynz's mouth.

"But Lord.." she added

"It's okay." I said

"I save the village for I know what is right. " I added

"Thank you so much, now, let me handle this time. Rest assured." He replied

"Oh, I almost forgot. Take this" I give him an item

"It's my honour to accept such a precious gift from a master" he said and keep the item into his pocket.

"I gotta go now. The Quezaltine's army is now in the front line. I can't stand here waiting for nothing." He said and prepared himself

'This guy... I saw in his eyes the desperation. The true power.'

He gathered his outnumbered army to face a hundred of soldiers out there..

"My lord, what should we do now?" Xcynz asked

"We will wait" I said
