As he sits there on his dirty couch, he tosses and turns over several bags of chips and other junk food.

His apartment, while small, was big enough for one person, which was perfect for someone like him. He didn't need much, other than the necessities and he could survive.

Every day he holds up in his apartment playing videos and eating junk food. To him, this was as close to Heaven as one could get.

He is a Korean male from South Korea, the land of K-Pop and K-Dramas. Well, not that he was remarkable or something, but his name is Chang Nam Woo. He is one of the top game players in South Korea server.

Chang Nam Woo woke up, groggily knocking over several soda cans, making noise inside the apartment.

Getting a semblance of focus, he remembers that he was playing a game all night long. His gaming streak was something he could not stop. He played so hard that he broke his record and increased his spot on the total ranking. However, though had fun, he realizes forgot to do something.

However, since he missed it already, he might as well go back to sleep ... .Just as he was about to close his eyes, a portal opened and a strange creature walked out.

Chang sat up and looked at the strange creature, while rubbing his eyes, and looking, making sure he was not seeing things. But no matter how many times he rubs them, the creature is still there, looking at him.

Before him is a white fox with glossy green fur and cyan eyes.

"Young man, you must be the mortal known as Chang Woo Nam, correct?" A deep but feminine voice entered Chang's mind, making him look at the fox with strange eyes. If he was not wrong, this was that trope, right?

"Forgive me, I am sorry not to introduce myself. I am Chang Woo Nam, it's a pleasure to meet your acquaintances." Bending his waist slightly, Chang wondered if he overdid it. It was clear this fox had some intention towards him, but since it did not attack him, it could only be good.

Veldona walked over and examined Chang from top to bottom with piercing eyes, on occasions she would nod but on others, she was disappointed, "Young man, I am Veldona, a being not from this world. I came here because those greater than I, have deemed you to be an hero."

A hero? What a stroke of luck! I thought maybe I would just be a generic trope character, but it seems not quite so.

"So let me guess, I will need to come to your world and save it from a demon lord of some sort? Then does that mean it's a fantasy world?"

Veldona thought for a minute and nodded, "It's complicated, but yes. You are not far from the actual situation. You will understand once you get there."

Lifting her lift paw, She opened a portal into a Gate, And looking through the gate it showed a brief glimpse of another world.

All Chang can see is just pure whiteness and nothing else.

As if remembering something, Veldona turned and warned Chang, "Follow me closely, and don't leave my sight. If you do, not even I can save you."

Chang did not think much and ran behind Veldona and grabbed her tail, causing her to look back in confusion and anger. However, considering her time was precious, she suppressed her anger and walked into the portal.

If one asked Chang why he listened to Veldona, he would laugh and ask why not. He had lived a mediocre life and did not have much to look forward to, however, with this fox and the world she came from, there was an opportunity for him to shine. Of course, he understood there was a risk, but what did that matter? If he died right now, he would be content, let alone later in that world!

As they walked through the portal, a bridge could be seen at the other end. Which for some reason made Chang think of the Buddhist sea of suffering and the outer shore. The scene lasted only for a moment before, he found himself in a strange white place that seemed to encompass the area.

He felt this place to be oddly peaceful. Even his chaos and excitement were suppressed. Turning to look at the fox that fits into this atmosphere like a fish in water, he asked, "What is this place?"

Without skipping a beat, Veldona responds, "We are currently in a place without time or space.

Veldona then slowly turns to chang.

Chang looks at Veldona in pure terror as he thinks he's about to die.

Veldona laughs at Chang.

She then says

"Do not Fear (Man! I've always wanted to say that!)"

"I shall not bring harm to you."

"I will guide you to a better place."

Chang says to veldona

"W-Why are you talking like an angel?"

Veldona just simply responds with.

"I am somewhat of an angel myself."

"Actually… a being beyond angels."

"But anyways! Do not die of shock or anything."

"I won't be killing you."

"Now let's continue."

Chang asks Veldona a question.

"How exactly are we getting to this other world?"

Veldona responds with.

"I'll have to restore the portal that's up ahead."

Veldona restores the portal

He then says

"Wait, I want to know why I'm even here."

"Why are you taking me from my home?"

Veldona says

"Well because I'm nice I'll tell you."

"The Celestials want to kill the next Explosion Lord."

Chang then asks

"What is the Explosion Lord?"

Veldona then replies with

"The Explosion Lord is the lord of all Explosions."

"The Lord of all Explosions is somebody who has mastered the 4 types of explosions."

"Nuclear, Magical, Abstract and Chemnial."

"We will be focusing on nuclear for now."

Chang then replies with

"So I'm guessing you want me to be the next LoAE?"

Veldona then says

"Bingo! And to do that you would need to become an SSR Hero Rank in this new world."

Chang then says

"Okay, sounds hard but I'm used to grinding for things."

"But I have another question."

"Who are the Celestials?"

Veldona then replies with

"Think of them as GoD's"

"And yes it's not God it's God's."

"You don't say God by the way."

"It's pronounced Gee O Dee."

"But anyways, enough about pronunciation."

"The Celestials want your head because I made contact with you about a day ago."

"They dont want me to turn anybody else into an Explosion lord."

"The reason for this is because, with the power of explosions, you could destroy their civilization."

"Let's just say in the past that my family has been blowing up their land for a while now."

"I wanted it to stop but they kinda attacked me so."

"Yeah."

Chang says to Veldona

"Wait, are you that fox I saw the other day?"

Veldona responds with

"Correct!"

"Anyways the celestials figured I'd probably find some random boy to go and run off with to then turn HIM into the next Explosion lord."

"And that boy just happened to be you."

"Now I have to send you away from Earth as they could just hire an assassin to kill you."

"So bring you away from earth I did!"

"Aren't I smart?"

"I mean Not as smart as Foxina but..."

"Anyways yeah so the Celestials are this stereotypical race of beings."

"The average celestial looks like some type of rock person."

"I don't care that much to remember."

"Just know that they are rock-like beings."

"But enough about those bags of rocks."

"Let's start walking shall we."

Veldona and Chang begin walking forward.

Chang is extremely nervous about Veldona but he at least feels like he's somewhat safe.

Veldona, However, is staringstarting at him like he's some kind of "snack"

They continue walking on the long straight pathway.

Veldona can feel that Chang is a bit "afraid."

So she walks closer to him to make him feel better.

He blushes for a second, Looking up at Veldona to only see a smile from her.

He quickly looks back down in embarrassment.

They finally reach the door.

Veldona opens the door and lets Chang go in first.

Now, More trusting of Veldona, he walks inside the door.

His eyes are temporarily blinded.

When he can see all he can see is another woman and a big Soviet-style bunker filled with military equipment and head.

The woman looks up at Chang and says hello.

The Woman's Name is Succi Current Ruling Queen of the Succubi Nation.

Succi has dark tanned skin with only a few parts of her body (the private areas) being covered by cloth and armor with armor also being present on her thighs and shoulders.

She also seems to have small vampire-like wings and a tail where a heart design is a tip.

Chang looks up to see her spear.

The spear is black with a dark red tip.

Chang asks Veldona, who is currently just walking in, Who she is.

Veldona tells him that she's Succi, Queen of Succubi.

Veldona asks Succi what she's doing here.

Succi tells Veldona that she's looking for an orb in the spirit realm

Veldona then says

"You want to go to the Spirit Realm! Okay!"

Veldona hands Succi the Key.

Chang is standing here watching this unfold.

Succi hugs Veldona and stomps the floor, causing a small hole to break and she jumps through it, into the spirit realm.

Veldona turns around and says

"Now let me get you geared up."

"Go over to the chair and sit down real quick."

He sits down in a red chair.

Veldona walks out of the room.

She walks into another room and doesn't turn the light on.

It is pure darkness.

She begins to walk forward.

She can't see anything around her as all she can do is feel.

She feels a sharp pain in her foot and knows she's found what she's looking for.

She bends over to pick up a large needle with pure black stuff in it.

She also has a medium-sized sword with a radioactive sign on it.

She then steps 2 paces to the right and taps her foot on a box, Lifting it (via her foot) and putting everything she has inside of the box with some other stuff.

She quickly runs out of the room and locks it.

Veldona puts the box down and she tells Chang to "Not worry."

Veldona moves faster than he can perceive and sticks the needle in him.

She grabs a similar-looking needle only this time it has Pure Uranium.

She injects that in him too.

The black stuff was just to put Chang to "sleep."

Veldona quickly grabs an atom out of the box and puts it inside of him.

This atom is a Special Nuclear Atom.

She's stuffing him with the components needed to create explosions.

She's giving him the ability to explode.

Veldona then cuts herself on the arm and slowly drips the blood into his mouth.

While feeding him blood she uses her feet to move an object out of the box.

The object is a brown cube.

Said cube she breaks down into small pieces using her Abilities.

She then begins to feed those into him.

Veldona after that stops feeding him blood and checks to see if nuclear fission has happened yet.

She declares that he's "ready" and forcefully wakes him up after fixing his body.

Chang asks Veldona what happened to him.

Veldona tells him that she's just made him into a "bomb."

"A Nuclear Bomb."

Chang is confused by this statement.

Veldona knows that he has absolutely no idea what's going on.

So she tells him that

"You have explosion powers."

Chang realizes that this might be like one of his favorite MOBA characters.

Chang gets up and attempts to explode.

Then he realizes that it might be like a "one-time use" kind of deal.

Veldona tells him that Just like her, He won't have to worry about taking any damage from his explosions.

Veldona then begins to explain his actual powers and abilities.

"Alright, so I'm going to put this into MOBA terms since you seem to understand those better."

"You have 3 Normal attacks and 2 Special attacks."

"Your first normal attack is the ability to shoot explosions out of your hands."

"The explosion is pretty strong but you can control it."

"The maximum for this is about the same amount of TNT as a standard American mortar has."

"Your second Norma attack is one where your fists turn green."

"That green is unfortunately Nuclear and it's 100% pure uranium."

"Which means you can effectively ignore most forms of armor as the radiation will make them sick."

"And also because it'll passively kill them."

"Of course, you can toggle this also to make it only potent enough to simply damage them."

"Your third normal attack is a defensive one."

"It's the ability to create Steel walls."

"I added that one because making walls of uranium didn't make sense if you were also trying to protect somebody else."

"However, making a wall will consume your body iron so be careful."

"I mean I did feed you an entire cube of it."

"Now onto your special attacks."

"Your first special attack is Boom!"

"You can probably guess what this attack is."

"That's right! You turn into my favorite thing!"

"A Nuke!"

"You explode with the power of 5 fat men!"

"Of course, you can't spam this or anything."

"Not because you'd explode."

"Because the after-effects are a bit heavy for you."

"Your second special ability is this sword here."

Veldona picks up the sword and gives it to Chang.

"With this sword, you can summon an airstrike wherever you want."

"No, I mean wherever."

"Of course, you can also use this sword to shoot small beams of light I guess but that's not as fun as watching Iraq blow up!"

"Whoopsie! I let that one slip!"

Chang looks at Veldona with a sort of disgusted look.

Veldona apologized for what she said.

Veldona then puts back on her clothes even though they are in another room (somehow)

And tells Chang to hold her hand.

He holds her hand and they get teleported to another Planet.

[Later….]

Chang looks down at his feet to find nothing but dark green grass and oak trees.

He also sees earth animals here.

He can also hear what presumably are earth birds.

Veldona tells Chang that

"No, you're not on earth."

Veldona tells him that he's on Planet E-TA in Galaxy 7.

Veldona then says

"Look all around us! Nothing but trees! Like literally this is just a forest."

"Follow me this way!"

Chang and Veldona walk on a smooth dirt part leading somewhere.

The only thing that he can see is trees.

Chang wonders where Veldona is taking him.

A little while later Veldona tells Chang that "We're Here!"

They arrive in the Town of Coaldale.

Coaldale is quite literally your stereotypical "1700s European" town with all of its cobblestone buildings and various other things.

The town does appear to have things that wouldn't be invented on Earth until way later.

Such things include some type of early car and actual street lights.

Veldona asks, "Hey do you still have your phone?"

He responds with, "Yeah, Why?"

Veldona then says, "Here let me do something."

Chang gives Veldona his phone and she does something to it.

He asks "What are you doing?"

She responds with "I'm connecting you to the Observable universe's Internet."

"It's only a 4G Connection tho."

"With this, you'll be able to call or text me just in case anything happens."

She gives him his phone back

"Also you probably shouldn't use your phone in public… As these people aren't THAT technologically developed."

"I mean there's some sort of Car but it's not like they have phones with a 3090 in them."

"I'm going to give you some money so you won't have to play block fruits IRL(aka beating bandits.)"

"Here's 4000 Gold coins."

"Please only spend a couple at a time."

"You don't want people getting suspicious."

Chang nods his head.

They begin to walk into the town seeing Multiple people pass by and say things about the pair.

You see This town is very aware of who Veldona is and how powerful she is.

An old lady in a brown trenchcoat walks up to them and says

"Oh! Welcome Veldona! And I see you have somebody new with you today!"

Veldona says

"Yes, this is Chang."

"He's my new uhhhhhh Student."

"I'm taking him to an INN."

"He's been through a lot."

The old lady then says

"Well, you take care Veldona!"

Veldona says

"You too!"

The old lady walks away and the two begin walking down the streets again.

They arrive at an INN that has a neon sign saying that.

The INN is covered with cobblestone Ya-Know, the usual building of this period.

Chang is confused as to how there are neon signs but no smartphones.

Veldona realizes this too and says

"Whoopsie"

"I may have left some of my technology here."

"Oh well."

They walk inside the INN to find a bar full of different races of people including Orcs, Elf's Etc.

Everyone is looking at them and it makes Chang a bit worried but he breathes in and out to calm himself down.

They walk up the stairs and then Chang goes into his room.

The room is quite cozy as he's practically a noble-level in terms of Money.

It even has heating and a separate bathroom.

He lays down on the bed to go to sleep.

Veldona goes into the bathroom to take a shower.

She walks into the bathroom to find a shower.

She says

"Woah! There are showers now! I've only been gone for a few months!"

She takes off her clothing and begins to bathe herself.

[Later..]

Veldona exits the bathroom.

He blushes when he sees her.

Her fur turns to a blinding white light and the only visible color is her dark green hair.

He asks "W-Whare are you wearing?"

Veldona walks out with a fishnet skirt and shirt.

Veldona responds with

"This is traditional fox clothing!"

"Also I don't have any good clothes."

He responds with "Can't you make some clothes?"

She says "Creation isn't on my list of abilities."

"Wait."

"It is but I'm following Lolibaba's stupid rules."

He then says "So are you going to buy clothing?"

She then responds with

"Probably."

"Tomorrow we should go to the guildhall and get you set up."

"You're going to become an adventurer and begin learning about Nuclear Explosions."

"I'm going to lay on the floor now."

"Of course, if you try anything while I'm sleeping I'll bite you.

Veldona laughs and puts her head down to then say "Good night."

Chang turns his head over and goes to sleep as well.
