Colossal Titan

Alexis was sitting in her room, thinking about what she had seen over the past few days. First she had seen a nobody come onto the scene and demolish the professors ace monster without fear. Following that event was a duel between that very student and herself, her being the loser. But there was something that stuck out to her more than that.

Alexis had her two friends duel the other student who had come to rescue Syrus, using a 2-v-1 duel to maximize their chances of winning, but they lost their duel as well. Then the mysterious duelist was promoted straight to Obelisk Blue with no prior warning and dueled 20 duelists at once and won without even attacking!

He also seemed to know Alexis in some way, even though the only time they had interacted was when she was telling her friends to take care of him. None of this made sense to her, she needed to clear her head.

Getting up and walking out of the dorm, Alexis made her way to the abandoned dorm. This was the last place anyone had seen her brother and she wanted to know what had happened to him. Hoping to find any clues as to his whereabouts, Alexis made her way to the door of dorm.

"Do you think that Professor Banner was right about this abandoned dorm?"

"I hope not, if the dorm is haunted we might run into ghosts in there, that wouldn't be lishus."

Before Alexis made it to the door she heard a few voices coming from the forest. They seemed to be getting closer, obviously heading to the dorm. A few moments after the voices had stopped talking Alexis could see who it was.

Three Slifer Red students had walked into the clearing for the dorm. Two of them seemed familiar while the big one was foreign to Alexis.

"Alexis? What are you doing out here?" Jaden spotted Alexis standing near the doorway, reaching out for the handle to go inside.

"I could be asking you the same question. You know this place is off limits to students." She moved away from the door, heading to the others.

"We heard about a haunted dorm and we wanted to check it out for ourselves. We didn't know it was off limits though." Jaden had a puzzled look on his face as he answered. "If you knew then why did you still come here?"

Alexis looked at the ground, clearly upset at whatever she was thinking about. Seeing this reaction to his question Jaden backed off and made it clear she didn't have to answer the question.

"You guys should head back before a teacher catches you here." Alexis urged the three boys away from the dorm. They protested but eventually they gave in and began walking back to their dorm, mildly unsatisfied with their curiosity.

Alexis waited a few minutes, making sure the boys weren't coming back when she wasn't there. When she confirmed that they weren't she began walking back to her dorm too, she had enough time to calm down and just wanted to rest her head on her bed.

A few minutes into her walk and she bumped into something. Her head had been down, her mind having wandered off somewhere else, so she hadn't been paying attention to where she was going.

Alexis raised her head to see what she bumped into, expecting to see a tree in her path, but she only saw a dark trench coat. She raised her head more to see the face of the person wearing the trench coat, covered by a mask and wearing a wide brimmed hat.

"Sorry about that, I didn't see you there." Alexis found the way this person was dressed strange, and the mans figure was unlike anything she had seen before.

"Hm, a little girl out in the middle of the woods with no one around. Awfully suspicious, don't you think?" The large man spoke in a deep voice, not one that Alexis recognized. She backed away from the man, backing right up into a tree behind herself.

"Who are you, what are you doing here?" This man clearly wasn't from the school, she would have recognized the body shape or the voice from someone but she couldn't think of anyone who looked like this man in front of her.

"I'm here looking for a certain student, but I believe I may have just found myself some bait." The large man began walking towards Alexis, reaching out his arm to grab her.

Alexis bolted away as fast as she could, not wanting to be caught by that stranger. She eventually made it back to the abandoned dorm, entering it and hiding away. She believed that she had lost him, or at least he would continue searching outside the dorm, but her luck didn't seem to last.

The sound of the old, creaking door opening echoed throughout the dorm, alerting Alexis that her pursuer was still after her. The sound of footsteps thundered through the hall, getting closer to her hiding spot with every step.

"Do you know the person I am looking for? His name is Clay, he has something that my acquaintance wants and he can be very impatient at times." At the mention of Clay's name Alexis' mind went into overdrive.

'Why does he want Clay? Who is his acquaintance? What did Clay take from them?' These thoughts kept ringing around inside her head, but before she could get any answers she realized that the footsteps had stopped.

"I found you."

The flipped table she had been hiding behind was flung to the other side of the room, flying as if it weighed nothing. Alexis turned around with a look of horror, the man was once again reaching for Alexis. In the nick of time, Alexis snapped out of her shock and rolled to the side, managing to escape the grab and ran away, deeper into the abandoned dorm.

Along the way she pulled out her PDA, looking through the schools database for students and finding Clay. She opened up his profile and pressed the send message button, recording a video message.

"Clay, if you get this I need help! Someone is attacking me at the abandoned dorm, please help me!" She stumbled along the way, dropping her PDA, but not before she pressed the send button. Now all she could do was hope that Clay would arrive and deal with this psycho chasing her.

Reaching the back room, Alexis had no where else to go. The room was large, probably the old common area for the dorm, but also little hiding places. She ran to the opposite end of the room, hoping to get as far away as possible from the pursuer.

His footsteps could be heard echoing throughout the dorm once again, still getting ever closer to Alexis with every rhythmic beat. Her heart pounded, she had never been in this type of situation before, she knew nothing about what she could do.

"I wonder where you went little one?" The large man walked into the room, looking straight at Alexis as he had a huge smile on his face. "There you are, you dropped something." He held up the PDA, making it look small in his large size hands.

"I must thank you for bringing the prey to me, now I don't need to hunt for him anymore." Titan walked into the center of the room, blocking off any possible escape paths that Alexis had. "You'll get to witness his doom, how lucky are you?"

"What do you mean? What do you want from Clay?" Alexis put on a brave face, asking questions to buy time for Clay to get here and for the two to sort out their differences.

"He found some spirits, spirits that could be used to make my friend even stronger and no longer bound to his existence." The large man explained what he wanted. Alexis didn't really care about this, she just wanted to stall, but after hearing the man say Clay found some spirits Alexis was intrigued. "If he can absorb them, then he can roam the world like you and me."

"What are you talking about? What spirits?" Alexis had a small idea about duel spirits but she had never seen them.

"Duel spirits of course, he found a strong one recently, my partner can tell." The man pointed behind his back, but Alexis didn't see anything in that spot. "It truly is a shame you can't see them, you would be very impressed."

In the distance the sound of footsteps could be heard coming from the entrance. It appeared as if someone was coming into the dorm.

"Right on time. Jinzo, he's here." He turned his back to Alexis, completely ignoring her at this point, giving all his attention to the footsteps approaching their location.

"Seriously, you had to pick tonight to show up?" A tired voice spoke out. It sounded as if it was bored, as if it didn't really want to be here. "Me and my friends were just getting to know each other, then you show up and ruin our schedule."

The voice had now entered the room, revealing the source.

Clay had finally arrived.
