6 Chapter 6: Battle for Pyke.

3rd POV

Castle Pyke, the seat of power of House Grejoy, the island on which the castle stood was heavily guarded by Greyjoy soldiers, while the forces of the other Ironborn Houses were encamped on the beaches of the Isle where Castle Pyke was situated.

The Ironborn Navy and soldiers ashore were preparing for the battle that would soon take place, the Ironborn forces knew that this battle would determine everything.

An Ironborn Sailor was keeping an eye on the sea when he saw several ships with different flags heading towards the Island, in the middle of all the ships were ships carrying the symbol of House Baratheon.

The sailor wasted no time and sounded the alarm, letting everyone know that the Coalition Forces were coming to Pyke.

Everyone was attentive and preparing for the battle that would take place shortly.

Domeric POV

I was currently on one of the ships that were temporarily given to House Bolton to transport troops.

King Robert "Pig" Baratheon gave the task to my Goblin Warriors to take Castle Pyke and capture Balon Greyjoy.

This would be a good opportunity to show some of my Army's might, I'll be delighted to see the faces of those Southern nobles when they see my Goblin Warriors holding a gagged Balon Greyjoy.

I will participate in the battle even though I am young, of course, I will have some Trolls and Half-Trolls to protect me, this was something my Uruk Chiefs insisted on and I accepted.

Soon I heard a knock on the door and I shouted to come in, then I saw an Uruk enter the room.

"Master, we're getting close to Pyke" Said the Uruk while lowering his head.

"Thanks, lead the way" I said as I stood up and grabbed a short sword.

The Uruk guided me to the front of the ship, as I passed, I saw that all the soldiers were ready for the battle that would follow.

3rd POV(Again)

Domeric is at the front of the ship, looking at the Ironborn fleet that lies ahead.

He knew it would be his first real battle, he was excited and at the same time fearful, because if he is careless, he could be killed by an arrow or something else.

But he then looked at the other Coalition ships and remembered that he would need to buy ships in the future.

'After this war, I will quickly begin the construction of the Port in Weeping Water' Domeric thought as he looked for a while at the Coalition ships.

But he soon looked at the enemy fleet in front of him, his ship and those containing his troops will be protected by the others, so when they arrive ashore, real chaos will ensue.

Ironborn ships were destroyed or captured by Coalition forces, now it's time for the land battle to take Pyke.

Bolton forces were the first to enter the battle, it was agreed that they would use the Trolls to break up enemy formations, followed by the rest of the Bolton Troops and then the rest of the Coalition.

"AAAAAAH" yelled one Greyjoy Trooper as he was suddenly crushed by the Troll's mace, another was pierced by a Half-Troll's spear.

The human Bolton soldiers were advancing in formation when one received an arrow in the left eye and fell, causing them all to stand in a turtle formation.

The Goblin Archers began shooting at the Greyjoy forces, providing cover for the Goblin Warriors to continue advancing towards Pyke.

The Coalition forces were impressed by the power the Bolton Troops displayed, some even got scared or thanked the gods for not being enemies of House Bolton.

The Goblin Warriors managed to reach Pyke's walls, they then put their swords and shields on their backs and began to climb the walls.

The Ironborn archers and soldiers saw this and tried to stop it, but the Trolls and Coalition forces were taking their time.

But even so, some Goblin Warriors were killed by the archers they had in Castle Pyke, but few died.

Castle Pyke's archers were desperately shooting arrows at the Goblins, but their fear would increase when they saw that some Goblins had killed their companions and arrived at their position.

"NO NOOOO" Shouted an Ironborn archer when he suddenly had a sword stuck in his heart.

The Goblins started to stay in the archers' positions and take the walls for themselves, some kept advancing so they could capture Balon Greyjoy.

In the Great Hall of Pyke, Balon Grejoy was preparing to fight until an Ironborn soldier invaded the hall.

"Milord! Monsters have entered Pyke! you must--" yelled an Ironborn soldier as he suddenly had his head ripped off by the sword of a Goblin Warrior.

Other Goblins entered the Great Hall, killing all the Guards and surrounding Balon Greyjoy.

Balon tried desperately to fight back but was quickly defeated, he was tied up and taken away by the Goblin Warriors.

The Coalition forces were fighting valiantly until they saw the gates of Castle Pyke open, then saw the Goblin Warriors taking with them a gagged Balon Greyjoy.

The Ironborn Soldiers who saw this started to get scared and screamed, causing the others to see it too.

Some dropped their weapons and surrendered, while others keep fighting, only to die in the end.

The Coalition forces shouted in victory, Robert Baratheon and some other nobles, like Tywin Lannister, looked at the Goblins carrying Balon Greyjoy.

"Ned...This boy did it" said Robert to Ned, who was by his side during the battle.

"Yes, Robert, I can say that House Bolton will now be of great warlike importance." Said Ned as he nodded, the non-human forces in Bolton House would make the Boltons the center of attention.

But he was most impressed with Morgul Steel, he was sure that not only the Houses of the North but the South would also want to buy as much as possible.
