29 Chapter 27: The War Broke Out.

Bear Island, an island that is under the command of House Mormont, a House that is known for being a Warrior House, even having equality when it comes to having soldiers, giving opportunities to both men and women.

Bear Island has always been one of the targets of attack by the Ironborn, who disguised themselves as pirates and then attacked the Island, along with the other Northern Houses that had a coast.

Today the island was being visited by Domeric Bolton with his entourage, the Operation was already happening, and the Sleeper Agents were already influencing the greyjoy to attack the merchant ships belonging to House Bolton.

But the attacks were on a small scale, so no ships were ever taken over by the Ironborn or looted, but they were getting more and more impatient and savage in their methods when it came to attacking Bolton ships.

House Bolton's armies were already ready, all that remained was the declaration of war against House Greyjoy, then start to invade all of the Iron Islands and make House Bolton a Protector House of the Iron Islands.

Returning to Domeric, he was leaving his ship with Missandei and Grayworm, plus a few soldiers and Unsullied who had been taken to Westeros, while the rest remained in Essos to tend to Astapor.

Soon they were heading to Mormont Keep, where Domeric Maege Mormont was waiting, along with her daughters.

"Lady Maege, it's a pleasure to see you" Domeric said as he bowed in respect to Maege, Missandei and Greyworm also bowed beside Domeric.

"Lord Bolton" Said Maege while showing a serious face, she bowed as well out of respect.

Soon Domeric and the Company were taken inside Mormont Keep, which was made entirely of wood, as House Mormont, unfortunately, did not have the money to build one made of stone.

There would be negotiations for new trade agreements between House Bolton and House Mormont, the agreements were mainly about the creation of a port on Bear Island, which would be financed by House Bolton, in exchange for zero taxes for merchants and ships of the House Bolton to dock on the Island.

At first, the Mormonts would reject it, not because they didn't like the deal, but because they thought it was too advantageous for their side, the Pride of the Mormonts wouldn't allow it, as it was when House Bolton gave them a little economic help, sending equipment made of Morgul Steel.

But as with the matter of Morgul Steel Equipment, House Mormont grudgingly accepted.

Soon they were signing the papers to put into effect the Agreement they had made, until a Guard of House Mormont entered the room where the negotiation was taking place, sweat running down his face.

"M-My Lady! The Ironborn are attacking us!" The Guard shouted, which made Maege angrily rise to his feet and issue orders to gather everyone he could to defend himself.

Domeric who was watching this showed a calm face, but inside he was laughing non-stop, the time has come for House Bolton to be the ''good guys'' of history.

"Lady Maege, I will join my escort to help with the defenses" Said Domeric as he rose from his chair, Maege looked at him a little surprised and with a raised eyebrow.

But she accepted the help, she knows that Domeric has already tasted blood, for she has seen how he fought in the Greyjoy Rebellion, in addition to the escort he brought.

"Very well boy, let's see how you deal with these bastards" Said Maege as she took her sword to go fight, Domeric soon gave the order for Missandei to stay in the castle with two guards from Domeric's escort, while the rest and Greyworm followed him.

Everyone ran out of Mormont Keep, through the windows you could see 2 Ironborn ships and sounds of battle taking place outside, in addition to some screams of people dying.

Everyone ran as much as possible to get where the Ironborn were, after they arrived, they saw that there were still some soldiers from House Mormont fighting, but they were almost destroyed because the Ironborn were outnumbered.

Domeric then advanced along with the others who were with him, he wasted no time and unsheathed his sword, then thrust it into the heart of an unsuspecting Ironborn.

Greyworm advanced against one of the Ironborn, he managed to dodge the enemy attack and quickly stuck his spear in the throat of one, an Ironborn ran towards him to attack him from behind but was killed at the same moment by an Unsullied.

Meanwhile, the battlefield was now increasingly in favor of the defenders, some soldiers of House Mormont died or were injured, as well as Domeric's escort, but in the end, they managed to kill all the Ironborn.

Maege was killing any Ironborn in her path along with the others, as well as Domeric and his group, showing no mercy to the Ironborn.

Soon the remaining Ironborn tried to flee the battlefield, but in the end, they were chased to their ships, then killed on the spot, but even though Maege and Domeric's group won, they had quite a few casualties on their side.

Time Skip no Jutsu

It was already done, after the episode of the Ironborn attack on House Mormon happened, along with the ships that carried the flags of House Greyjoy attacking ships of House Bolton, causing House Bolton to declare war against all Ironborn.

The Westerosi Kingdoms reacted in a variety of ways, with most of the Southern Houses supporting House Bolton, hoping that this way they could put an end to the problem that was the Ironborn.

The North was divided, the Vassal and Allied Houses of House Bolton were supporting Domeric, while Ned was trying to end the War peacefully, the Mormont sided with Bolton this time, surprising all the Northern Houses.

Tywin was enjoying this division happening, for him, the more the North was divided, the easier it would be to bring Domeric to his side by proposing a marriage between Him and Myrcella.

For Tywin, that will be hitting 2 birds with one stone, as it will end any problems the Ironborn may bring in the future with House Bolton controlling the Iron Islands with Iron Fist (kinda ironic), as well as making the future Protector House of the Iron Islands is on the side of the Lannisters.

And also the division of the North makes it easier to get Joffrey to marry Sansa Stark, thus making the North under House Lannister's influence, thus being able to bring "stability" to Westeros.

But he would focus all of House Lannister's efforts on Domeric first, as he was the Hen that lays the Golden Eggs, not to mention that having House Bolton as an ally of House Lannister would mean that they would have trade opportunities with Essos through Astapor.

Returning to the subject of War, the Bolton and Ironborn were not yet having major naval battles, as they just started fighting without caring about the rest, small naval skirmishes happened however, as the Ironborn wanted to plunder the Merchant ships of House Bolton, this caused the escort of Merchant ships to increase greatly.

The armies of House Bolton were finally preparing for the invasion that would take place in the Iron Islands, bloody battles would take place on the islands to see who would have control, the Cult of Sauron was the most enthusiastic about the war, because thanks to the Influence of Domeric, War and Weapons became part of the Religion.
