Game Of Thrones : Merchant of Two Worlds

Jason Liu, an ordinary man who unexpectedly gains the ability to travel through time and space, finds himself able to journey between modern-day Earth and the world of Game of Thrones. With this unique power, he begins to transport supplies between the two realms, introducing the cheap commodities of the modern world to Westeros while bringing back raw materials to Earth. As trade flourishes, Jason’s ventures cause an unprecedented economic boom in both worlds, drastically increasing their GDPs. However, as he amasses wealth and power through his monopoly over this interdimensional trade, Jason's ambitions grow. No longer content with merely being a smuggler between two worlds, he sets his sights on Westeros itself, determined to carve out his place amid the chaos and power struggles that define the realm.

After going to college, Jason Liu usually stayed in Zheng City for part-time work instead of going back home, even though it was only 300 kilometers away from his hometown.

The main reason was that he didn't want to be controlled by his father, and their family wasn't doing well financially at the time. He wanted to do odd jobs to earn money for tuition.

Jason knew that his father was working hard on the farm, taking on odd jobs during the off-season, which was tough. But for some reason, whenever they were together, they would argue after just a few words.

They never talked much about life or work, and even when Jason called home, he spoke mostly with his mother. Both he and his father found it difficult to express their emotions. They cared about each other but always ended up showing it in the worst way.

Jason realized that he and his father were too similar, and maybe because of that, they couldn't get along. He couldn't help but smile helplessly at the thought.

He didn't know how to fix it. On a recent phone call, Jason tried to avoid an argument. "Dad, don't worry. If I do anything illegal, I'll get arrested! But I'm young, and I'm not going to throw my life away. This money is really from selling soap with my friends."

His father was silent for a while before speaking in a calmer tone, "Can you really make that much money selling soap? I don't believe it."

"We sell it abroad! Foreigners love our products because they're high-quality and cheap. We've made a lot of money in just over a month, and each of us has earned more than 100,000 yuan!" Jason explained.

His father, who had only ever farmed in the village, didn't understand foreign trade. "We sell a bar of soap for a few yuan, and it's still considered cheap overseas. That's how we make money!"

Jason's father was left speechless. He had no idea how foreign trade worked and only vaguely understood the concept of selling local products abroad.

After a moment, his father finally said, "Well, work hard and make more money from foreigners." Then he handed the phone over to Jason's mother.

Jason felt a bit embarrassed. Technically, he was doing business in another world, but it was still like foreign trade. His mother, concerned about his future, asked, "What about your job?"

"Don't worry, Mom. I'm making more than enough, and if this goes well, I'll open a company in the future. Being the boss is much better than a regular job!"

Jason tried to reassure her with talk of his plans, telling her not to worry and even offering to send money. His mother, pleased, laughed and told him, "We don't need much in the village. Save your money for when you get married and buy a house or a car."

Then, she started talking about village life, making Jason laugh. Soon enough, she urged him to find a wife and have children. She even promised to help take care of the baby.

Overwhelmed, Jason quickly ended the call, wiping the cold sweat from his forehead. His mom was relentless!

After checking the time, he decided to grab a bite at the city's snack street. He spent a few hundred yuan but enjoyed the meal.

Later that afternoon, the paper he had ordered—100,000 sheets of A1 and 1,000,000 sheets of A4—arrived from Zhengshi Paper Mill. He returned to the warehouse, had the boxes unloaded, checked the goods, and made the payment.

Once the delivery was done, Jason transported the boxes himself to Westeros, filling his room. He had his men carry them down one by one. Though curious about the boxes, no one dared to ask questions. The guards had started to assume that Jason was a noble from the far east, possibly the son of a duke.

If Jason's father knew that people thought he was an imperial duke, he might have slapped Jason in disbelief. After all, their family had been farmers for generations!

After making arrangements for his guards, Jason returned to the modern world. Living in Westeros for more than a month had been enjoyable, but being back felt familiar too.

Looking at the bustling streets and busy roads, Jason reflected on how different his life was now. In the past, his days off were spent in a rented apartment, playing on his phone and ordering takeout.

Now, things had changed. He realized he needed to buy a car—it wasn't convenient to keep taking taxis everywhere.
