72 The history
Qyburn came inside his personal solar and looked around.
Thinking back to the events that happened in the last few years he was wondering how the rest of his life will go.
The fireplace was burning slowly providing the warmth and comfort, while the cracking sound of burned wood and coal in combination with the scented candles gave him a relaxing feeling.
He slowly walked up to one of his bookshelf's that covered every wall in the room and picked one of the biggest books hearing a *click* sound he walked back to his desk.
The ex Maester sat in his comfortable chair before leaning forward, he took the key from his neck, solved the puzzle on his drawer and opened the reinforced with metal wooden doors.
It still wasn't the end.
He solved another two puzzles disarming the poison traps and finally with another key opened the iron safe doors after choosing the correct combination.
Never once did he think the security measures were too much.
His fingers brushed over the mix of silver and gold engravings on the cover of a book he took out, if anyone knew what was written in it, they would have the means to destroy this family, his new family...

He was in his own thoughts while gently looking at the book.
Qyburn's swiftly, but carefully opened it and turned to the last few pages with writings on them.
His eyes read the lines that were wrote by someone else's as well as his own hand while feeling the flood of emotions that the black words written one the yellow pages brought.
He skipped the lines talking about the birth of his young Lord, even so, just glancing at the lines made the man tired and haggard look relax a bit.
Finally he saw the lines he wrote before.
285 AC - After the unsuccessful attempt on Lady Dustin's life, the assassins were caught in a trap that was set up on the Isle of Faces withe the help of Green Men and Children of the forest. Young Bri was laid to rest there.

- The King's Guards with the Baratheon forces picked up the loan of 4.000.000 gold dragons.
- Under Ser Hadrian the 14.000 soldiers from allied Houses marched back to Neverwinter escorting 4.000.000 gold dragons.
- In Qarth, House Dustin men took over the key positions in the city ending the split management and unified it under the puppet 13 from which 10 being Dustin men.
-1st, 2nd and 3rd Praetoria Legions fought against the Golden Company in disputed lands winning the skirmish with little losses.
- After torture the assassins revealed that the orders were given by Bethany Bolton nee Ryswell.
- 12.000 men from allied Houses moved to attack Dreadfort under Ser Hadrian the Loyal, but were stopped by Lord Eddard Stark Warden of the North with his guards before they arrived.
- The old fleet was transferred to Lannisport.
- Lord Roose Bolton meet the delegation with the body of his wife Bethany Bolton nee Ryswell, stating she died of illness leaving a son, Domeric Bolton as the heir. House Dustin allied forced were commanded to return to their lands as there was no proof of the Bolton's involvement.
- Dustin Rangers were sent by the Lady to burn Bolton's supplies and fields forcing the small folk to migrate. In combination with stealthy actions most of the peasants with the Rangers help left Bolton lands cutting their income in half.
- Failed assassination attempt on Lord Bolton were stopped for the time being as per young Lord Brendan's order.
- In Slavers Bay Lord Brendan created the first city Vaes Ayena or The City of Bells with 80.000 warriors, creating a buffer zone between the Dothraki Sea and New Lhazar.
- Neverwinter Navy was returned to full strength of 35 frigates.
286 AC - Meereen takeover plan was ready.
- Unofficial War in the Shadows was started by Iron Bank after sending Faceless men to assassinate Lord Brendan few times for cutting off the slave trade income. Retaliation assassination by the Whisperers on high ranking Iron Bank management officials were mostly successful. In total 16 faceless men were killed during the attempts thanks to the young Lord's gift. His identity remained a secret.
- 25 newly build, fully armed and manned frigates sailed to Slavers Bay under the command of Dale Seaworth, every newly build frigate was to be sent to Slavers Bay.
- Reorganization of the army by Lady Cerea Hightower nee Reyne and Ser Gerold Hightower. Mounted Legions were split up and attached to the Infantry Legions 3000 each (2000 Andal heavy cavalry, 1000 Tribal light armored riders).
- Under the commander Davos Seaworth the raiding Ironborn fleet of 26 ships was decimated with most of the captured Ironborn exchanged for previously kidnapped, mostly Northmen, back to the islands with their surviving ships.
- The cooperation with House Manderly was ended after the Whisperers confirmed they were faking the accounts, stealing the cargo and attacking Dustin convoys with their secret fleet. Retaliating actions were implemented.
- Confirmed disguised House Frey attack's on Oldstone builders. House Mallister sent 1000 Infantry for support. House Blackwood sent 700 archers. House Royce and Waynwood sent 1000 cavalry each to be stationed at the location.
- The Alchemist guild created a safe Wild Fire catapult ammunition.
- The second city of the Tribe was created. Vaes Sajak or the City of Riders with 80.000 warriors strengthening the buffer zone.
- Second battle against Golden Company finished with a costly victory, because of the use of war elephants. With the help of Scorpions after bloody battle The Golden Company retreated.
- 12.000 men were sent to Winter Fort for training from Neverwinter as the previous men filled the places of casualties from the Praetoria Legions.
- The farming project in Dorne's desert was successful, creating first 4000 acres of farmland and young forests.
287 AC - The third Pegasea Legion in new Lhazar was created.
- Oldstone and Shandystone cities were finished, Olstone Castle was still under construction.
- Weapons shipment sent to House Blackwood as a thank you for their support.
- 15 previously seized ships given to House Mallister as a thank you for their support.
- 2000 Legionaries sent to House Royce and Waynwood each to raid the mountain tribes.
- Sellsword companies hired by Iron Bank unsuccessfully attacked New Lhazar and Winter Fort.
- 213 New Ghis fleet ships were seized or destroyed by Captain Seaworth's 54 ships in the sea battle of Ghiscari Strait with no losses.
- The three Praetoria Legions changed with the 3 New Lhazar Legions.
- The last battle against 120.000 Dothraki screamers took place. Under the lead of Lord Brendan Dustin 158.000 Tribe riders (80.000 Lord Brendan, 30.000 Vaes Ayena, 30.000 Vaes Sajak) including all Praetoria Legions took field against Khal Bharbo. The battle was won, but the remnants of the enemy escaped under the young Khalakka Drogo after his father's death on the field.
- The third Tribe city was created in the buffer zone. Vaes Azho or the City of Gift with 80.000 warriors. Clearly separating the Dothraki sea and New Lhazar. Lord Brendan retreated to New Lhazar leaving the cities to his 3 old blood riders taking the new 2 back with him.
- Iron Bank retreated from previous contracts leavening the Bay after signing agreements with New Lhazar representatives.
- Lady Dustin traveled beyond the wall after visiting Houses: Ryswell, Glenmore, Mormont, Glover, Forester, Umber, Karstark, Hornwood and Mountains Houses.
- Neverwinter Castle was finished.
- New Lhazar wall and fortifications were finished.
288 AC - The cities of Meereen, Yunkai and Astapor were taken on the same day installing unified House Dustin rule over most of Slavers Bay.
- Meereen was taken quietly by assassinating all high families in the pyramids while the lesser families loyal to Dustin's with Zizlaz zo Hak as Slavers Bay Magistrate at the lead took over keeping the peace.
- Yunkai was attacked from inside by the 1st, 2nd and 3rd Praetoria Legions and fell in half a day after killing the masters. Loyal council was installed.
- Astapor was taken by Lord Brendan by using the the pretext of buying Unsullied and killing the masters. Loyal council was installed.
- In total 8 new Legions were created combining the 18.000 unsullied into 3 and the combined forces of the other two cities into 5. 7th Firma Legion (Steady), 8th Ferra Legion (Iron), 9th Fideli Legion (Faithful),10th Meereenea Legion, 11th Yunkaia Legion, 12th Astaporia Legion, 13th Hasta Legion (Spear), 14th Leonis Legion (Lion). 7th, 8th and 9th being the newly equipped Unsullied.
- Maester Lowsen was assassinated successfully by staging accident.
- 4th, 5th and 6th Legions came back after a year and a half of fighting in disputed lands. 11th, 12th, 13th, 14th were sent at their place.
- 15.000 acres of deserts were remodeled to farmlands and forests.
- Lady Dustin was summoned to Winterfell to explain the migration of Bolton lands Small folk. After denying it and lack of sufficient evidence on Lord Bolton's side the case was dismissed by Lord Stark.
- House Dustin increased support for Houses Umber, Karstark and Hornwood that are neighboring Bolton's land.
- Lord Brendan Dustin arrived to Meereen joined by his Sworn Shields: Noya, Arthur Dayne, Bryce Smallspear, his two new blood riders Ono and Amo and new sworn shield brought in by Ser Hadrian from the Lannisport Sandor Clegane. 30.000 Tribal riders, 1st Praetoria Invicta Legion (Invincible), 2nd Praetoria Bruma Lupin (Winter Wolves), 3rd Praetoria Aquila (Eagle), 7th Firma Legion (Steady), 8th Ferra Legion (Iron), 9th Fideli Legion (Faithful).
- The slave rights declaration was implemented by Lord Brendan. Every slave should be treated respectfully and payed for their services as per signed contract with two of the city officials as a witnesses. Inspections would be forced upon the owners with heavy penalties including death. Criminal slaves and debt slaves were kept, exempting children that could be fostered by the cities or Winter Fort or (unofficially) Whisperers.
- Prince Oberyn with his daughters and Lady Ellaria arrived in Meereen with 5000 Dornish spears.
- 1st, 2nd, 7th and 10th Legions and 5000 Dornish spears were dispatched to take over Island of New Ghis. After 2 weeks of fighting the city was taken. Magi Rina was stationed with the occupying Legions to keep the new recruits of 15th Sirenia (Siren) and 16th Scylleia (scylla) Legions loyal made from the remnants of Ghiscari Iron lockstep legions.
- 3rd, 6th, 8th, 9th were dispatched to Island of Elyria and then City of Tolos. Both the island city and the coastal city surrendered without a fight with slaves welcoming the new protectors.
On Tolos new auxiliary force was created. Scorpius Funda (Scorpion slingers) who throw soft lead balls in place of stones. 20.000 slingers were to be trained with Lady Rina's supervision.
- As the Slavers Bay was fully unified every city started the production of frigates and carracks.
- The cities were managed by the councils with small garrisons and Vigiles keeping the peace under the Magistrates.
- Maya, Lord Brendan's advisor being the Magistrate of New Lhazar, Vaes Ayena, Sajak, Azho.
- Zizaz zo Hak being the Magistrate of Meereen, Astapor, Yunkai.
- Theros leader of the slaves in Tolos that surrendered the city after killing it's rulers became the Magistrate of Elyria Island, Tolos and New Ghis (now called Roma).
- 8.000 bronze spears were to be trained and kept in Astapor as per Lord Brendan command.
- The navies of Slavers Bay cities patrolled the entrance to the Bay day and night raiding every slavers ships and protecting the merchants.
- Lannisport personnel and their families from every Dustin establishment were pulled out including the orphans.
- Lord Brendan returned to Westeros.
