It wasn't all flowers and rainbows. My knowledge was mediocre at best. The clay from the Neck area was alright, but not good enough. Thankfully we found better close to the mountains.

Next the bricks houses... Even just remembering it makes me want to break something.

The houses really looked good with the additional wooden frames but they were cold and sucked humidity from the ground! We had to isolate the ground first and then my builders implemented some additional "magical" things that I didn't know or care about to make it work!

Thank the Old Gods for smart people! I was just a normal guy in my previous life so without them I would be fucked! Thank you smart people!

This made me think about my other projects, why the fuck did I want to build a marble castle when I'm poor? Idiot!

Well for my defense I just wanted to use the marble for decoration and the floors, but since the project itself will take about 11-13 more years with additional wall and towers around the town or better city as it will grow surrounding our castle, I just left the decision to people who actually know what they are doing.

Thankfully I was stopped before I made more mess. That made me employ trusted counselors that know about my "ability" for every project and we got the effects needed and more importantly I don't have to think about details anymore!

I walked further in my thoughts but looked around from time to time.

The streets were clean, leveled and made of larger bricks. It is full of small folk and merchants wanting to buy our wares or hire our builders, the money we pumped in our economy was worth it!

Just from taxes we get and our establishments in a month more then we previously got in 20 years! And that's not counting the rents, the loaning of tools and our other enterprises as it can be payed in harvest from farmers. The people were actually smiling and praising my mother wherever I went with my guards.

The beginning wasn't easy, but we pushed through.

I managed to convince my mother to implement few other plans and it's still a work in progress so more about 3/4 of our gold was gone but we started to see the increase in revenue. It was like throwing away gold!

Most of the buildings are now made from bricks with additional isolation from winter's cold and heating with wood and of course toilets! I hate taking dump into a pot!But unfortunately still wooden windows.

When building them we implemented the sewer system with future expansion in thought and the small folks are renting them from us for a small amount of their income or harvest but of course there are restrictions so that no one would abuse the system.

It's unnecessary really as nobody wants to fuck with a noble. I could slit anyone's here throat and wouldn't even be questioned about it, that's just how it is.

We are still building more houses as the population exploded.

Our furniture is selling like hot cakes! Oh as for hot cakes we opened our bakeries in other cities. You'll be surprised how much watching baking videos while being bored can help you if you transmigrate or reincarnate!

Barrowton is more like experimental ground for my projects.

The same thing allowed us to open our Inns and Pleasure houses with our original mattresses and furniture but there, we've used glass windows. Got to be classy here! We have orders for the next few years from the lord's stewards for our products and we make our furniture so expensive that they want to puke blood, but what can they do?

Until now no one tried to copy our things on a large scale as that's beneath the nobles and merchants are afraid to offend a noble. Adding to this my brand of our house Coat of arms on everything we produce keeps everyone in check.

If you counterfeit another noble Coat of arms, every noble will be your enemy, even those that don't saw.

With all the jobs that we provide for women in our businesses, there are still some that would rather spread their legs or work as a servant in our inns.

Well I'm sure to test them when I grow up, at least with our guards there, they are safe and earn good money so they can quit and get back to their villages and get married after few years of working. I still doubt anyone would like to leave our lands now but the choice is there.

That's the other thing. We got a big influx from women and men from different lands to work at our places or other of our industries if they don't like that type of jobs. We value talent and don't discriminate and for real, women are just smarter!

For example if you want, our people can teach you how to write and read, we will teach you numbers and if you're good at it all and have a gift for business you can be responsible for our place or even for our businesses in whole city or region you just have to be loyal to us.

I'm not worried as there are always people eyeing the good positions and just waiting to report to us any slip ups. The word is that if you're a small folk woman or a man and want to achieve something then you should go to Barrowtown where everything is possible.

To tell you the truth I hate this name, I will have to change it soon in the future, just waiting for my pops death. The name was decided previously. Neverwinter, like I said a small jab at the "Winter is coming" thingy. Mom loves it.

I might take jabs at the Stark's but truthfully I still like them, the question is what will I do if they get in my way.
