11 Arriving at King’s Landing

It didn't take long before we arrived at Kings Landing. During this time I wasn't staying idle. I had began creating the force which would be, the 500 men I brought with me were trained according to the standard of the King's Landing. Cersei had a copy of the different rules.

I had also informed Jack about his appointment as Lord Commander of the City Watch. Firstly I had given him information about his current situation. Immediately upon arriving he would fire 500 men and introduce our new 500 men, they would then gradually shift out the remaining 1500 corrupt men with recruits.

I had also contacted Cersei Lannister and asked her and her father for money. I would switch out the current heavy, not speed suited armor with the old ones that Daemon introduced to CW during HOTD.

She agreed and sent a message to Tywin. We also sent a messenger ahead to talk with the blacksmiths in King's Landing.

When we arrived, we luckily got the King to call in the CW LC and dismiss him, then replacing him with Jack.

Soon enough Jack met the original City Watch and informed them that he was the new Lord Commander, and he would bring change. And anyone standing in his way won't be here for long.

Immediately after he fired the openly corrupted men of the city watch and introduced our own original 500 guys.

I also got myself introduced with the small council.

However I decided I needed some power for myself. Therefore I decided to get myself into the mercenary world. I created a mercenary guild, and I bought out all other mercenary factions, they are mercenaries after all and would sell anything for money.

Due to this, after only 1 month of being in King's Landing, I owned the only major mercenary guild in the entirety of King's Landing. I had also replaced about 500 original men of the city watch with an additional 500 recruits. We had also gotten enough of the new city watch armor for all our 2000 men.

The old armor had been given to members of my mercenary guild. However, of course in King's Landing, nothing does unobstructed.

Petyr Baelish immediately attempted to bribe a lot of my new employees, he of course realised I was shifting out the corrupt ones. And of course, they accepted. But that's what they were meant to do, and as such I had 50 double corrupted men? Our double agents? Idek, but either way they informed me if he needed anything, and well, today he did.

He had told 4 of my men to go and ambush Lady Stark, Catelyn. They would then get her to follow them into one of the brothels he managed. After telling them to do it and report anything back to me, I left them to continue their duties. Or more so ordered Jack to order them.

Well, I knew what would happen in the brothel but it would be interesting to know if Baelish let them listen in, in the end it wouldn't affect me much.

1 week later the tournament began. I was sitting beside Baelish, we had become quite the friends recently. I didn't quite enjoy the fact that he thrive in chaos, but he would help me in the end.

After a few days we reached the finals. The Mountain against the Flower Boy.

"500 on the close boy, what you say? " I asked him.

"Sure." He answered. Similar situations was playing out all along the stadium, I had close to 100 men stationed around betting on the flower boy.

And sure enough, the Mountain was thrown off his horse and sounds of defeat played throughout the stadium, I would find out truly how much cash I made later.

That's when the Mountain began slashing at the flower boy and the Hound came to his rescue.

Soon after they cherished their moments together before everyone left. Nothing else interesting really happened except Tyrion getting kidnapped, I decided to meet with Cersei about that, and soon enough I arrived at her room.

"Greetings, Your Grace." I said

"Oh, Alexander, stop calling me that. Cersei is fine." She said

"Very well Cersei." I responded with a chuckle.

"Well either way, you have probably realised your brother has been kidnapped. Well I want you to get a message to Tywin." I said

"Hmm, what is it?" Cersei asked

"I shall save Tyrion and get him back. And in return he will order someone to launch a raid into the Blackwood territory when I give him a specific time." I said

"Hmm, seems fair enough. I can pass that message to him. And may I ask how you can get him back?" She asked

"I have one of my mercenaries in their entourage." Is all I said.

However that's when Jon came in.

"My Lord, you have been called to the small council. The King seems to be attending today." He said.

"Ooh, interesting, how rare for the king to join the small council, if ever. Well I better get going, I'll see you around Cersei." and with that I left followed by Jon and Jorgen.

Soon we arrived at the Great Keep, Jon and Jorgen waited outside. When I arrived I spotted the normal but interesting talk between the Spidder and Littlefinger, a talk where they put a lot of their cards on the table. And they fought over whom had most information.

Well in the end I knew more than both of em.

Either way I passed through them and into the chambers. Soon after they both arrived and Ned right after. The talk was going perfectly after the script and soon enough it came to my time to convince Lord Eddard.

"Though the woman may be pure after my intelligence and she has no wish to become Queen. Viserys is quite evil, he has raxped woman's, sold child's to slavery and ordered execution. I say we spare Daenerys and kill Viserys." I said gaining a nod from Ned and a conflicted one from Robert.

"And where did you get this information?" He asked

I simply answered.

"Mercenaries"

And the room became quiet again. Even though my argument was sound Robert eventually ordered the execution of all 3 and Ned resigned. And he left.

Robert began his usual rant and after a bit of time we were allowed to leave.

Immediately I ordered Jack to take 80 men of the elite unit and make it seem like a irregular patrol. They would then patrol around a specific whore house.

***POV Switch Jack Lychester

I didn't know why but Alexander ordered me to take 80 of my most elite men on a patrol around the pleasure houses, he had gotten a tip on an impending attack.

I quickly got my men together and we marched out. I had an additional 20 men spread through the district and look for any fight. Soon enough something came up. An obvious conflict outside one of Baelish's establishments. Between Lord Ned and Jaime.

We all quickly moved towards the area. And we arrived just in time for Stark's 2 best men to be killed. I immediately ordered a charge and within a few seconds we managed to get between the Captain of Stark Guards, Lord Edward Stark and The Lannisters.

"Jaime Lannister! What is the meaning of this! Attacking the Lord of another House in the streets of King's Landing! Even if you are the brother of the Queen we will not have it." I screamed.

We were 8 men + 2 Starks and they were 60, quite the good odds for us.

But I guess Jaime either was high, or he genuinely thought that the CW hadn't increased at all or we weren't an elite unit, for he ordered his men to charge. Dumb move. They attempted to throw their spears but we had shield bearers who took the brunt.

Immediately after we all drew our swords, including the Starks and charged. Jaime thought he would be able to win easily. But me and Ned engaged him in a 2v1 keeping him busy. Meanwhile my men superiority in close quarter and street fighting shone as they were dominating the Lannisters in 1v1 and even 2v1.

Within 10 minutes the last of the Lannister men was put down alongside Jaime Lannister. The men were brought to the dungeons while Jaime himself was brought to Alexander.

We also confiscated all their weapons and horses. We captured about 20 and killed 40, a heavy blow indeed.

And with that I ordered all our troops to be extra careful of the Lannisters. And with that I went to report to Alexander.

**POV Switch back.

Soon enough, 6 CW guards came to my office with Jaime were they filled me in. They then uncuffed Jaime and left.

"The elite Lannister force, annihilated by the City Watch. Oh well. Welp Jaime, this wasn't meant to happen, didn't know they would suddenly go and arrest you. Well let's go to Cersei." I said

"Hahah, lead the way." He said with a smile.

And with that we walked to Cersei's chambers and entered.

"Greetings Cersei, I am here on a visit with a prisoner." I said in a humoristic way and pointed at Jaime. She immediately got serious.

"What do you mean!?" She said as she began fussing over him and I quickly explain.

"Ah, very well. Thank you for helping us, Alexander." Cersei said, being actually thankful.

"No problem, it wasn't meant for him to get captured at any times either way. But I have to punish half the captured Lannister men, you can take 10 of them though." I said

"Very well, I can accept that." She said and we immediately began talking about thag before I left. Once I left the room I heard her scream at Jaime for his stupidity.

Oh well, family will always be family.
