------------------------

The last event was his conversations with Lord Arryn. When he was doing his normal duties and was helping Jon with his work, he was about to go out to check some lands that got flooded and needed an assessment. Jon called him and signaled him to take a seat.

" Come in, Edward. I need your help with some matters." Said Jon while pointing to the seat in front of him.

Edward nodded and took his seat and waited for Jon to continue.

"Well, you see. Since the hill tribes raid and I was thinking of a way to solve this problem peacefully, once and for all." Said Jon.

"So do you have any ideas or suggestions for me?" asked Jon while looking at Edward.

Edward took some time to think about this problem while Jon waited for him to answer. After some minutes, he started speaking.

"Well, you see, Lord Arryn. Due to the long feud between the vale and hill tribes, I can only give you three suggestions. The first is obviously to eliminate each one of them in a one full sweep attack taking them by surprise. I can help you come up with a strategy to help you achieve that." Said Edward and waited for Jon to digest this idea.

Jon didn't wait and shook his head at once, seemed he didn't want to continue using force.

"No, I prefer a peaceful method. What is your second idea?" asked Jon.

Edward nodded and started voicing his second idea.

"My second suggestion is to promise them part of the vale. You will have a peace talk with them and offer them lands to make them come down the mountain. But due to the long feud, this suggestion might have three outcomes not to mention other problems. The first outcome, they would refuse and kill the messengers. The second outcome, they would accept but the lords of the vale and lords of Westeros will refuse and start another fight. The third outcome, they would accept but the future generation wouldn't and another feud starts. Not to mention their way of life of raiding and taking women. Plus, they wouldn't bend a knee to the Targaryen and they order you to kill them." Said Edward illuminating the different outcomes and problems.

Jon took his time to ponder this suggestion and Edward's words about the outcomes and problems. After half an hour, he could only finally sigh. Although this was also one of the solutions, after hearing Edward's words, he could see that it was not feasible.

"And what is the last one?" asked Jon putting his hope on the next suggestion.

"Well, The feud was mainly between the vale and hill tribes. So if you promise them land outside the vale and taught them how to live a civilized life, then the problem is solved. So I suggest either you wait for me to become a lord and handle them correctly or you suggest this to father or Lord Stark." Said, Edward.

Jon weighed his options and knew that his best shot was really with Edward.

"but you will have the same problems." Said Jon.

"I know but at least after teaching them to live normally. I would get rid of their desire to revenge the vale and the disagreement of the lords of the vale. Plus this operation would take years to finalize and continuous peace talk and resources by then I would have a way to settle the rest." Explained Edward.

Jon could only nod after hearing this and decided to trust Edward with the rest.

One and a half years passed since Edward's conversation with Lord Arryn, it was 277 AC this year. During those years a lot had happened.

First, Edward continued his peace talks with the hill tribe and was finally able to persuade them. Although it was hard, he convinced them to leave their old ways for the sake of their children and for the glory that he would bring to them.

Lord Arryn provided the funds for this project and provided different people to teach the hill tribes how to grow their corps. Although Edward had better ways to increase the harvest, he decided to wait for them to move to his lands first.

The population of Hill tribes reached twenty-some thousand. The funds needed for this project were large plus they still needed to be moved to Stormslands.

Edward persuaded his father about the project and told him that those Hill tribes were loyal to him and that was true after the time they spent together. They even called him 'Edward from the Baratheon tribe'.

After convincing his father who in turn managed to persuade Arys, who still had some of his sanity. Now, the problem was where to move them. Edward had thought of this long ago and he pointed the location to his father.

His father didn't ask why and agreed. The location that he chose was to the northeast of Griffin's Roost. A mountain area between Storm's End and Griffin's Roost. Edward was planning for the rebellion and decided to circulate the lands of the three houses the betrayed Robert in his previous life. He was forming his net of control.

The castle, to be built, would be called Tribe's Cave. The different tribes united into five houses that will lord Tribe's Cave and the area around it with Mountain house lording Tribe's Cave as the main house. It was a house formed of big tribes. The tribes would be moved completely by 279 AC.

During those years, Edward didn't forget his training. He spent all his free time in hell training that his men were afraid of. His swordsmanship reached a perfect state. His body was tall and macular due to his training. He was sure he could take Arthur Dayne head-on and defeat him in minutes.

He also didn't forget the different ways that could kill him. So he trained his poison resistance by taking a small amount of poison regularly. He couldn't say he could take any poison head-on but at least he would survive and identify the poison. It was hell and disgusting training. He also learned some first aid to help him in case he was injured or something.
